Pointless. Now if you had said like Itachi and Hiashi then you would have had a better arguement but here no. Pein is unbeatalble without the code so far as we are kinda seeing in the manga. So 2 people who are just starting to tap their Sharingan and Byakugan abilities are not going to be able to beat Pein.

Yes as you seen Jiraiya couldn't even defeat him with his full power so I have to say no...
