Jiriya vs. Deidara

C4 will kill almost anybody. Jiraiya doesn't have any lightning jutsu so if Deidara is forced into using his C4 Jiraiya won't have much to do about it.

Sasuke has lightning element which could diffuse all Deidara's bombs. Jiraiya does not therefore Jiraiya would die to the C4 when Deidara is pushed into using it.

No he doesn't. C4 doesn't kill Deidara. By C4 i'm referring to the C4 Garuda. Deidara's self destruct ability had no real name.

yeah but jiraya could just summon some frogs to jump up there and kill him of bring him down to a lower lvl and kill the bird then all he has to do is beat the living hell out of him (and if that doesnt work he could summon gamabunta or go sage mode and use the frog soneg) so just about no matter what jiraya wins and with sage techniques he would kick ass

If Jiraiya immediately resorts to hermit mode and uses the toad song, Deidara is gone.
He can also summon Gamabunta. Then create a huge fire blast, like he did in the 3-way sannin battle. That would finish Deidara.

It can't even result as a tie, cause Jiraiya can escape Deidara's self-destruction same way Sasuke did.. Just with Gamabunta.

^^ Theres a limit to how high one can fly. If that was his big ace in the hole to just fly higher he would have done it with Sasuke. Diedara is going to fly hust high enough to where he is comfortable. Then when he isnt expecting it Jiraiya summons Gamabunta and that puts them on about the same height level for a moment which is all Jiraiya needs.

Also how is people going to put Diedara on Jiraiya's level in combat?
