This thread is about game reviews from your favorite game systems. You can make as many reviews that you want. There are rules so read them well.
RULES
Rule #1: No spamming
Rule #2: There can be more than one review for a game but no more than 5.
Rule #3: If you are posting a review, please make it more than just one sentence.
Example-
(I) -It was fun and exciting.
(II)- The game expressed the feelings of the character and his/her surroundings. I like the fact this game was made with great graphics. I also like that you can walk around the city and do shopping, talk to people and really get to know the people. I give this game an 8/10.
_________________________________________________
The fact that (I) was not very descriptive and had no rating.
But, (II) had a rating and very descriptive words but without spoiling the game.
Rule #4: You can comment on the persons reviewing but please don't give out any spoiling material unless you put it in a spoiler tag.
Rveiws:
PSP
Crisis Core:
B-/C+ This game looks amazing on the psp, cutscenes are amazing, the stroy is okay, the repetive hack and slash combat is the only thing that makes this game suv-par at best.
Wii
Star Wars the Force Unleashed for the Wii:
C+/B- The graphics look worse than most gamecube games, the gameplay is fun, but the motion moves simply don't work, the only the reason I picked up this game was for the story, which has some cool turns and twists but nothing spectacular.
Super Mario Galaxy:
A-excellent game play and graphics, controls scheme work well, and most importantly its alot of fun
PS2
Tales of the Abyss
System: PS2
Story:
A rich boy (Luke) who has been stuck in his mansion as long as he can remember and suddenly through a meeting with a stranger he gets spirited to enemy territory. He soon learns about the harsh world around him and how all people follow what is called The Score. Meeting new characters and being with old friends he soon changes his attitude and ways. With some people wanting to cause a war and some wanting to destroy the world Luke and his friends embark on a journey to save the world and but a stop to evil plans. He also learns a lot about his power and where he came from.
Rating:
9.5/10
I simply loved this game the characters are very memorable and seem like real people. Even tho you do hate your main character for the first couple of hours of the games he is a totally jerk to everyone but it can be funny at times. All of the characters have a there own special secrets and personalities that keep the game upbeat and interesting. So just with the characters alone I would still love this game!.
The story is awesome too I really love the story without reviling anything there are many twists and turns that make you want to keep playing till the wee hours at night. And most of the characters have voice overs so it's really nice not have to read and plus it makes the chracters seem more real and the voices are awesome I love them all!
The fighting (real time) part of the game is also very awesome you can control whoever you want in your party and there are 6 characters to choose from but I like Luke the best he is a fast sword fighter and his attacks are nice and fast the best Tales of series fighter in my opinion. This game also has elements in the form of rings that show up on the battlefield can change your artes or special attacks to special ones depending on which attack and element you try to combine.
The sound is awesome like I said early voice overs FTW!! The music is awesome to the opening theme is like my fave and I have download most of the soundtrack that I could find whether battle music or world map music this game sounds awesome!
The only problem with this game that I had that would frustrate me to no end was the world map trying to find certain towns would have me searching for ever I would finally have to look it up online but the good news is once you have been there it's marked on your map and you can see where it is. That is the only downfall to the game in my opinion.
But yes if you like RPG's and a good story with awesome characters than this game is for you. I have played this game three times now and I'm on my fourth it never gets old for me and now I know where all the towns are by heart so no this game is just perfect and is my favorite game and that's hard for me to say since I have played many awesome games but there is a reason why this is my first reviewed game because it has a special place in my heart.
wow that was a lot but that's how awesome this game is.
PS3
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm(PS3)
This game was fun how you get to run around the village and do missions outside the manga/show. You also get to play regular battle mode. Battle mode is like in any other Naruto game, you get to play with the CPU or with a friend. The thing I hate about battle mode is that every time you use your ultimate jutsu when your opponent only has about 30% of the life bar, at the end when he/she will say a qoute and the backround is brown and a repeating sound of the other player hitting the ground will. I consider this a glitch. This probibly only hapens to me. The sad part about the battle part is that you can't play online and you can't play as Asuma, Anko, Kurinai, Shizune because they are in the game but you need internet access to the PlastationStore and download them in the add-ons section. You can also collect music, figures, and dioramas from the general store in ultimate mission mode. I give this game a 7/10
Fallout3 (PS3)
A+ :
This game is by far one of the best I've played. This game is open-ended, meaning you determine the actions of what will happen. You create a character, and can either go onto the main quest, or do your own thing. The graphics are amazing, and the sound is simply astounding. The gameplay starts off a bit shakey, but after maybe 20 or 30 minutes, you learn the controls. This game is a must buy if you have 360, or PS3.
Well I hope you enjoy reviewing your favorite games:)
