Sasuke vs. Orochimaru (OFFICIAL THREAD)

Guys, before you start ranting and raving that "this has already happened" and "Sasuke already won" then think about this. Orochimaru needed Sasuke's body in surpreme condition. He couldn't afford to hurt Sasuke. Therefore he immediately started trying to take him over. Since it obviously is illusional as well as physical what Orochimaru was trying to do I think that with Sasuke's Sharingan it was easy to reverse it back on him (I guess meaning Sasuke has Orochimaru's power kinda? I dunno, he said Orochimaru was taken over instead of him so...) But besides the point of that, If Orochimaru and Sasuke were going all out for blood and both of them was at full power, WHO WOULD WIN? What do you think? I mean Orochimaru who is fresh and full of life and Sasuke in all his Curse Mark 2 glory. (Also bare in mind, Orochimaru GAVE him that curse mark.)

Do you think Orochimaru tried to try that on Itachi (the body switch)? It didn't show the battle but it just shows Orochimaru complimenting Itachi on the strong ass genjutsu he put on him.

It wouldnt definetly be Orochimaru. Because since Orochimaru lost half-dead or not, Sasuke absorbed him making him stronger. Orochimaru also lost his Manda. Sasuke would lose, but it wouldnt be an easy battle for Orochimaru.

I say orochimaru would win. but if this battle would be in a future, where sasuke would be much more experienced and know even more techniques, I say he would win for sure. orochimaru himself said that he was nothing compared to sasuke when he was at his age, so I suppose he would be nothing compared to him even when sasuke would be as old as oro.

..... Orochimaru would probably win..... In his current state. After all Itachi defeated Deidera so easily. If Sasuke barely beat Deidera and Itachi with Kisame said it would cost their lives to fight Jiraiya who is as strong as Orochimaru, Sasuke would definetly lose.

i think that orochimaru's only weakness is really powerfull genjutsu..which is why itachi told him that his power were useless against his eyes... but itachi kicks ass in genjutsu..that is probably his specialty... but sasuke is not..so unless sasuke would learn to use his sharingan as well as itachi (mangekuo..most likekly) he has no chance!

Didn't this match already happen? Sasuke won out in the end. Orochimaru apparently used his last resort with the White Snake thing. Sasuke also is faster and has more skills than Orochimaru.

wait...even if sasuke had mangekou..orochimaru could just use reanimation, and bring the first hokage to fight..he used to be very strong against sharingan because of the fight against madara uchiha...
also why didnt he ever bring madara to fight..against the 3rd for example.. madara is the strongest ninja in naruto history i could think of besides the fourth...

It's not my opinion it's a rough estimate.
Someone said that Masashi said the manga would end around Chapter 500. It's at 373 now, a story arc is around 20 chapters each, so around 5, 6, 7, maybe 8 more story arcs in the series.

Well you know exactly what I think about statements like "somebody said". I do not believe anything unless it comes from the mouth of the actual creator.

But to get back on topic. Orochimaru I think would win. He put the curse mark on Sasuke. I would be willing to bet he knows the weakness of it. I think any user of genjutsu is doomed against a Sharingan user but I think with genjutsu aside Orochimaru would be the victor. He is virtually unkillable. The only reason he died to Sasuke is because Orochimaru was counting on that body transfer jutsu to work and in his weakened state he could not do it. Plus it looked like a genjutsu type of jutsu so ofcourse Sasuke could get out of it. If Orochimaru was going to kill Sasuke I think he could just do it in an instant.

A lot of this is my opinion.

I don't know about Sasuke versus Orchimaru but if it were Orchimaru versus Itachi, than Itachi would probably come and kick Orchy's butt. Itachi seemed much more powerful than anyone I've seen so far in the manga. No fanboy spam intended.

I think Orochimaru would win because sasuke already admited the only reason he was able to kill him was because he was already weakened.

However, not that sasuke has a mangekyou, he would kill him easily. Proof of this is Oro vs Itachi. Itachi kicked his ass. Although Sasuke is nowhere near Itahci's level, Sasuke is still strong and with a Mangekyou, oro wouldnt stand a chance.

But I have changed my mind seeing how Orochmaru taught Sasuke a lot of his forbidden techniques and Sasuke also has the sharingan which Orochmaru is scared of. Also Orochimaru's recreation technique wouldn't matter cause that takes up a lot of his chakra and Sasuke can do it too.

Really weak chain of reference, but the point is still valid. Oro can't take on the MS easily and runs a risk of dying permanently. Pre MS Oro would mess Sauske up pretty badly though.
