Who belives viruses were created by the companies who make the anti virus programs norton/mcafee/spyware doctor i dunno but it does seem a little fitting it makes them money.

I don't think it's true because there are A LOT of bored people on the world. They create something and their idea of fun is a complicated challenge against them (i.e. Microsoft Windows' firewalls lol).

I wouldn't be surprised if they are. But I also think theres a lot of people with a lot of times on thier hands and just give people viruses. My little brother does that at least.

No, if anyone found out, the company would be screwed. And there are always people getting arrested for making viruses.

I'm sorry, but I have to believe that the companies that make the anti-virus did create those virus'. Other-wise, how would they still be in business? That fits their shoe perfectly. No virus', no money, they go out of business. Doesn't that make sense for them to stay in business?

it's Impossible to cure a virus, they are UNCUREABLE even if you try to find a cure for virus, your only going to make it worse, and if someone does make Anti-Virus, then it could backfire, and make it to another virus.

I think its down to the bored people too, companies that big make it hard for suspicious activities to not go unnoticed.

I hate these damn viruses, it makes us lose people we care about, some people die because of it, people become deprest because of it, and if someone makes that Zombie virus, then i'll get pissed. <_<

Its not created by anti-virus software companies. Also the viruses were created in pakistan by a 2 paki programmers.

I have no doubt that many anti-virus companies don't do as much as they maybe should, but they're not responsible for all viruses. I've made a couple viruses for fun (never released them of course) and I know that many get released on accident. But the real number of viruses coded to deliberately attack computers is very low.
