Judge's rullings:

Mystik:
Ok joey's, his in my opinion was best. He focused on the sprite which in sprite sigs you have to focus most of your effects around the sprite which he did a good job at. he used to colors to compliment the sprite and you can still see the sprite. He used nice effects and actually made the sprite look like it was dancing in paint as it splashed around. Text was good and he kept it close to the sprite like it should be. Flow was really good and the way he kept his effects and text it made you focus on the sprite. His flaw is, i think he could of maybe done a little more to the background and the stock he used but all in all it still came out well.

Ok rawr, the right side of that sig blows it. What ever they dont to the right they shouldnt have, it throws it off big time. I like the effects that he/she put on the left hand side but they should have put those effects around the sprite, not so far to the left away from the sprite. I dont even see many effects around the sprite and in a sprite sig your supposed to concentrate what you do around the sprite. Text is to far away and that should of been brought closer to the sprite as well. There is so much going on in that sprite sig that you can even concentrate just on the sprite. Good thing about it was choice of colors and a cool border, thats about it.

ok thats my opinion but joey gets my vote

Nel:
What i dont like about Rawr-x's sig is the scan lines. Seems like thats her thing, I see it in most of her sigs. I just dont think they look good on the sig, they seem out of place. Also the clipping mask on the left, i dont think looks good. and like you said the right side does kill the sig. The colors too dont really match the character and thats what i like about Joeys. Well i liked that thing rawr-x did around the character, i dont know what its called, looks like a bubble, also the borders, and the txt just not where she placed it.

About Joeys, i like the colors. the txt., the light source, i dont really like the bg. that its kinda blurry. On the left side, i dont like how some of the the blue looks like a square. If he could have blended that it would have looked good on that side.

not playing favorites but Joeys is the best out of the two.

Kushina:
To be perfectly honest I hate these kinda sigs. And to be even more honest I don't like either. While joey's is a bit more creative, Both stay true to the colors. I don't like the bg on joeys for the simple fact it's blurry and tends to distract you from the main focal point. The text is actually alright. He could have done better if he had blended his foreground and bg together. It basically looks like he threw the stock on and made a few brushes then put a gradient over them.

As for Rawr's, where to begin. The scan lines, I like the idea, not so much the color of them though, they distract from the stock. I honestly have no clue as to what he/she was trying to do with the background there, though it blends better than jo jo's did. I do like the border this person used tho.The text should have been closer in towards the stock but it doesn't neccassarily take away from the overall compsition. Lighting on both are kinda meh as well as shading.

All in all My vote Goes to Rawr. Smoother and more blended not so much as an eye sore.

By vote of the judges Itza wins Against Rawr-x with a vote of 2-1.

Congrats both of you for even trying this and congrats to Itza for the Victory.

*mumbles off about her loathe and detest for sprites XD*

They both look a bit misplaced but Joey's colors fit more

and the background is very fitting so had I been a judge he would have my vote.

It was a tough starting point so good work to both of you

I personally dislike the bg on itzanillusion's. Like kimi said, its too blury. I do like the paint splatters though. They go well with the render. Although, I don't like the text. It seems seedy.

I don't think i can summarise anymore than what's already been done. Overall, I like Rawr-x's sig better. It just catches my attention, and looks better in general. Congratz itzanillusion, :]

Haha. Knew it.!
But 2-1 is pretty good. xD
-feels proud-

Oh, and the scanlines, I love them.
I'm kind of attached to them because when I first started gfx, it was the first technique I used. xP
Oh, and not having effects near the sprite was actually to draw attention to it.
Having a background with that many effects, and an empty space around the sprite makes you look at the sprite.

+Rep to itza. And all the judges for CnC that makes sense.

I loved the scanlines. They caught my attention. My latest sig was inspired by your style of sig, and i added scanlines to it. haha. I'm obviously not as pro as you. But ya' know. I try, ;3

+Rep to Rawr-x

Actually no it didnt.. when you have a render as small as a sprite you need to focus on the sprite itself. There was so much going on in the sig that i couldnt focus just on the sprite cause my eyes kept going everywhere. Im not saying it was a bad sig cause i have seen bad sprite sigs before but you just had to much going on all over the sig cept where it should have been which was the sprite.

As I said in my CnC, I liked the scan lines but not the color of them. Next time if you want to use them and throw in a bit of difference, I suggest using the scan lines as maybe a clipping mask. Or you can try and set the lines on Soft Light or Overlay. Give it a different feel. Anyway you did pretty good.
