What is your current and all-time favorite book?
What are the books about?
Do you recommend them?
Etc..
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Currently: Oryx and Crake by Margret Atwood
It switches back and forth between the present day(where it follows a man named Jimmy who is supposedly the last human left on the planet) and parts of Jimmy's past(which tell the reader how he came to be the last human left on the planet)
It's a very interesting book. You may or may not like it.
I recommend it.
Eric I think you'll especially like this one.
The Year of Impossiable Goodbyes.
Its a story of a girl growning up in Korea when Japan invades after WWII. The girl in the story is actually the author when she was young so its based off a true story
Mine is a series called the Honor Harrington Series by David Weber.
The first book (On Basilisk Station) follows the exploits of newly Promoted Honor Harrington of the Royal Manticorian Navy and her new ship RMN Fearless as they are shipped off to a backwater planet where all is not as it seems.
The rest of the series follows her as events unfold to levels beyond imagining and her rise as an officer of the Queens Navy
Recommend? HECK YES!!!
* Harry Potter series.
* Deltora Quest series.
* Dragon Age series.
* Lord of the Rings series.
* Fate/Zero.
I also had this stack of awesome books from all different authors in my room somewhere, but I just checked and they're gone. I haven't read any of them in about a year. I have no idea where they are now though.
