Kuro Nagashi VS Silver Cross [RPG]

Ladies and gentlemen! For the 4th battle, it's from the pink place of TN: the RPG section. This will be the first of many to come!

Duration: Until next Sunday (one week)

Theme: None

Reward: Bronze shuriken/One tomoe sharingan (whichever the winner chooses)

Who do you think is the better RPer? Kuro, with his rabid posting speed? His multi-char control? Or is it Wang Tang, with his few, but quality characters? His contribution that changed the RPG template style forever?

Feel free to make use of all posts from the Naruto, Bleach, and Other sections as evidence....NOW VOTE!

1. One liner votes, with no ground-work and absurd reasoning like "Because I agree with him always" or "He's just better" or something else similar shall not be counted. This decision of counting shall be the discretion of the battle officiator, i.e. the thread creator.
2. Discussion about the participants is allowed in the thread, however, it should not amount to spam or pointless bickering.

Well between the two of us i think its pretty equal, i mean i post with speed and manage mulitple characters, yet, Dorian can build one character and probably take on three of my vast characters single handed but i can't wait to see what the other RP'rs say about this battle, so im not going to vote, cause obvously my vote would be bias, but for everyone else hurry up and post with some good evidence!!!!!

To be honest, I'm going to give my vote to Cross.

Kuro is a good RP'er, who replies very fast and does manage multiple characters. Although I haven't RP'd with him as much as others, I have seen his posts. There are so many it's not hard to notice.

But for me, it's Quality>>>Quantity.

And Cross' posts seem to be of better quality. It is close, don't get me wrong. Kuro is a great asset to the section. But I prefer the quality in posts, more than the amount of posts you make.

This is incredably tough. There both phenomanal and both have been here along time. That's what makes it so tough because both are so great.

Cross can be very descriptive in his posts. So is Kuro but Cross kinda beats you in that department but Kuro can manage multiple characters very well and still bring forth great amount of quality. I've known both for a very long time and both are great assets. Neither has had any problems with the rules or anything but I think Cross gets my vote for now. It was very close. Like by half a thread because both are so good.

This one is hard, but im gonna go with kuro. This was difficult because cross is able to be very expressive and ingenious in the way he posts, but kuro has a way of not only posting more, but in my opinion, posting with a degree of emotion sometimes lacking with cross......this is purely my opinion, but i feel that that sort of thing brings interest to the thread being posted on, and thus allows for much more enjoyment all around..... so even though cross has incredible rp skillz....im gonna have to go for kuro on this one.

OK, this is a very close one...but, and I'm trying to avoid all biases as possible...

...my vote goes to Kuro.

I also agree with quality > quantity. But Kuro does post good posts. They are quality. You can argue that he probably could work on his punctuation, but he does put good thought and detail in what he does. And it's what the words are trying to say that's the point, I think, be them perfectly written or not.

And as Schro mentioned, Kuro really brings the emotion card to the game. Allow me to quote some of the instances I remember from my interactions with him:
Shoda rubbed her back soothingly as he held her as tight as he could without hurting her and left sage mode he had stored enough energy to keep himself standing as he then tried to calm Shigeko Shigeko, the only reason i did was because i................................................. ..love you Shoda had just said his true feelings for Shigeko and he hoped she was okay with this
Shoda smiled Im glad thats how you feel, and i feel the same for you, but if i could express my love with only one single thing right now Shoda placed his hand left hand around Shigeko's neck and then he was close to her face, so close she couold probably smell his minty breath and in a whisper he said this and then he was kissing Shigeko

Shoda was kissing Shigeko so deeply his heart was thudding right out of his chest he thought if he became anymore in love with Shigeko his heart would burst straigt out of his chest, he hoped Shigeko was experincing the same thing
Suddenly musci started playing (click (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1O9DyFLIKo), before continuing) and soon violets were forming around Shigeko in a large ring, little wrapped choclates sitting on the center of the violets,as a basket of cookies appeared in front of Shigeko and withing the basket they spelled out the words "Im Sorry," Shoda was nowhere to be seen though in reality he was at the door as he walked out into the training ground smiling at Shigeko, he saw Ayame but paid no attention
I have RPed with Dorian. I have even done some PM plotting with him. Him and Kuro are both awesome. They both RP well, responsibly control characters in high ranking and influence, have played sensei to other characters. They are both great. But...Kuro edges out in the lead.

Another reason I can think of is Kuro and the News Threads. He keeps up on them and occasionally comments on what he sees in new characters people post. You have to admit that is beyond what other RPers do.

That brings the score to....

He's very versatile to me, he can rp the fighting scenes and emotional parts as well like Stacy was saying. He's cool.
Dorian is cool though.!

I most say that each has shown great skill with RPGing but in the end Silver cross takes this. His characters are always extremely well described to point were its like you have perfect image of them and someone with that skill is greatly appreciated in any RPG. Man that was a hard one.

My vote is for Silver cross.

Kuro's Got great skill and is in control of many characters, ive battled him plently of times, ive rped with cross as well.
And while cross seems to be smarter in his posts...
Im going to give my vote, to Kuro.

I've had my fair share of confrontations with both in the RP world. This is a close one, as both have different qualities that make them valuable to the section. Kuro has a great ability to manage all of his characters and be able to check tabs on them. However, from what I have seen, Cross' posts are very detailed and give you a very vivid picture of what that character is doing, what their appearance is, etc.

In my opinion, Cross takes this. Kuro has great quantity and is involved far more than Cross in the RP, but Cross has quality. In my opinion quality is the most precious content when in an RP.

I vote for Kuro. He is obviously the best thing since sliced bread to enter the RPG section. If you disagree you are a communist.

Seriously he's just an all around great RPer. He handles most scenes very well, may it be emotional or action or something like that.

Not saying Cross isn't good. I had a hard time choosing ebtween the two actually. Cross has more quality and detailed posts...ut Kuro is more involved and can manage well. All in all he's great.
