Hey peoples, I need some help. I'm trying to fix up a laptop, but the keyboard is messed up and i'm not sure what to do. Some of the keys, such as the "a" key, will type that key and another, such as "ia". I also get "8q" and "kz". So, if anyone can help me out on this, it would be appreciated very much!

thats is really weird. the only thing i can imagine that happened is the wires underneath might have gotten jumbled or messed up.

Do you know of any way to fix the wires? I can't even figure out how to get to the wires >_<

well i know that if you rip of the keys you can still see the wires and there is still a little button where the letter is that you can press. you can rip off the A and see whats going on down there. but i suggest you buy a new keyboard.

do it carefully and only to the ones that your having probs with. if you cant see anything wrong call up the maker of the laptob(like dell) and tell them whats up.

I pulled off the keys, but they don't look any different than the others. I went to the maker's website, but it didn't help. It didn't have the right model or anything, so i'll probably just put it away for now. Thanks for the help Ceji.
