Since this is dubbed, I'll say Asuma just because of the time they r at, subbed or manga i'd say shikamaru though

asuma because shikamaru would get tired and quit although if it was a death match asuma would definately win shikamaru dosent have a killing jutsu all he has is shadows

and besides asuma knows wat shikamaru does when hes thinking of a strategie so asuma will just get him then all asuma will have to do is hold on till the hands connect and then wham shikamaru is dead

Isn't that just a part of their persona? You chose a specific act of Asuma, like he's not able to fight just because of that. It's just like saying Might Guy can't fight because he's "too excited" and "positive" about everything, anything. You can't choose a part of a ninjas persona and then judge from that as a dark cover or shadow when it comes to the same ninjas skills. That's not fair.
