i'm pretty sure that itachi can beat pain so i was a little disturbed when my brother asked me if sasuke is stronger than pain. well, i don't know.

Well, even with the DISTURBINGLY small hints of Peins power, he has never lost a battle, and i dont think that even Itachi can match Pein. Rin'negan was said to be the more powerful of the 3 doujutsus, so i say Rin'negan over Sharingan anyday. I even think that Sharingan is the lesser powerful of the 3 doujutsus.

No no and no! you're comparing the old Madara with someone that wasn't even born yet, Madara is full of wisdom that why he's clearly giving orders to Pein. While Pein was still wearing dipers, Madara was learning from his mistakes. WHY are you assuming he's the same, he's as you claim 115 years old that make him superior in everything. Do not be suprise if the founder of both the uchihas and the leaf(along with the 1st-leaf only) has reach a 4th tomoe thus something higher than MS, it would only be abvious, all those years would had tought him well!

Itachi said that even him and kisame together couldnt hope to face and beat one of the sannin in this case being jiriya. So if Itachi himself said that he couldnt beat jiriya and jiriya lost to Pein. Sasuke wouldnt even be able to be in his range of eyesight and live.

reason Pein got caught in a genjutsu from Jiraiya is because he never thought Jiraiya could do genjutsu, which is true cuz it was the frogs who did it. Sasuke has sharingan and they have a lot of genjutsu abilities, so Pein would be expecting and would prepare for genjutsu.

Pein would win, but it wouldn't b as lopsided as a lot of people seem 2 think.

I agree. Sasuke may look stronger and dangerous with all his new powers, however, jiraya is way stronger... even pein admitted at the end of their fight that he would never win if he hadn,t kept his secret (i don,t really know what he is talking about)... Well all i would like to point out is that sasuke is strong for his ages and level of experiences... but he has no chance of winning against jiraya:)

And yes, that is true, Pein is actually not the leader of the Akatsuki. It is Madara. Or, as we call him Tobi. Masashi Kishimoto just put Tobi to make it so we think it was Obito, but anyways. Sasuke is stupid, and Pein would crush him. And also, your kinda wrong. When he fought Jiariya, it was actually only two to one. And then Jiariya fled because he was tired and out of Chakra. And then Pein folowed him and killed him. Oh, and Jiariya is a legendary Sannin!! Sasuke is not, he dosen't compare to Jiariya, so why would he compare to Pein.

Accually no, Susano and Itachi couldn't kill everyone in the Akatsuki and when he used Susano, Itachi died. But we aren't talking about Itachi, we are talking about Sasuke. Sasuke on the other hand, DOes NOT have Sosano, he right now doesn't have a MS. And his new sharingan doesn't count because we haven't seen its power yet. Not only that, there are 7 pein's and we only seen 3 or 4 of them use any abilitys in battle. Also even if Sasuke gets a miracle somehow and killed the 7 peins (1 is already dead and there is a new one, but I mean if he still had that one alive) he still has to kill Nagato who we don't even know his abilitys yet, and once Nagato kills him and rips off his head, Nagato can go ahead and make more Peins, and one of them could be Sasuke.
