sasuke wins... he has that chidori that hits around him... also in my opinion the sharingan is better than byakugan, because it can be used to do genjutsu and stuff.... and u can see their movents clearer.. byakugan just lets u see 360 degrees and see chakara points... also sasuke is now as fast as rock lee... so i see sasuke wins

oh my god! are you serious? Fact time- When neji fought 30% Kisime he did shit he couldn't even touch the real kisame(not clones) in fact he was just getting in the way of guy's fight. Now sasuke did beat the hell out of a full -meaning 100 & +- Diadara. Notice, it was something that not even foolish naruto + kakashi could not accomplish or in fact the whole leaf team and more importantly NEJI. Sasuke alone took down Diadara something that i highly doubt Neji is capable of.

Just because I know your track record. Do not take these post personal. Just because someone doesn't share your opinion or your undying devotion to Sasuke do not belittle their opinions. You are right. Kisame did trap Team Gai in a water prison. But they were all watching Gai fight. But who broke them out of the water prison? It was Neji... He probably could have broken out at anytime. Also Masashi Kishimoto wanted the focus to be on Gai and Kisame. So it was only natural that he trap Neji, Lee and Tenten. It had nothing to do with their capability. Most of this is my opinion but deep down you can see how it all can be a feasible fact. Everytime we get in a Neji debate you bring that Kisame fight into it. This blows that out of the water. Please do not use this as fuel for your next post. Dig deeper...

I'm sorry, even though I 2, feel Sasuke would win this fight.

While I admit it took a bit of time for Neji to get his head back in the game, it was he who eventually broke them out of the jutsu.

Now as for this fight.
- This would be a close fight, because as we know, they are all quite talented.
The 1st advantage for Sasuke has to do with who trained them. Sasuke had Orochimaru train him. As we already know, Orochimaru knows a ton of jutsus, and over the period, he probably taught a lot of what he could do to Sasuke. Neji had Gai training him. While Gai is strong in his own right, have we ever really seen Gai use anything but Taijutsu. And then again, Neji also had the Hyuuga clan leader training him, which was probably helping him master his Byakugan and Hyuuga clan abilities. The advantage I give to Sasuke here is that he didn't just learn how 2 use what he was born with, but he also learned tons of other jutsus.
- When it comes to Taijutsu, they both have their advantages. Neji has his fighting style (I 4get wut it's called and I'm 2 lazy to look it up) which basically cuts off chakra flow. This in it's own right is a very dangerous fighting style. Sasuke advantage with Taijutsu is his speed. We've seen it throughout The Naruto Manga. Sasuke is very fast, probably 1 of the fastest characters in the Naruto series, I might even go as far as to say he's faster than Rock Lee and Gai, but we havn't been able 2 see them fight, so we don't know that for sure.
- With Ninjutsu, I will give the advantage to Sasuke. There isn't much to explain here, this goes back to who trained them. Sasuke had Orochimaru, who knows tons of jutsu, and Hyuuga and Gai, who know a limited amount of jutsu. We've seen basically all of what Neji has in jutsu, with his various palm techniques (64 palms, 128 palms) and his whirl, but we havn't seen much for jutsu from Neji as we have from Sasuke. Sasuke has learned a lot over the time skip and he has a distinct advantage in this category.
- With Genjutsu, if it came to it, I believe Sasuke has the advantage here as well. Neji's inheritance has the ability to see chakra flow, chakra points, etc. Sasuke's inheritance has the ability to copy moves, See movements easier, and as we've seen, they can kill people with Genjutsu. We saw Sasuke kill Orochimaru with Genjutsu. When have we ever seen Neji use Genjutsu, he's not a Genjutsu user, so the edge here also goes 2 Sasuke.

With all this said, While I have pointed out many advantages in this for Sasuke, I give Neji the edge in brainpower and the ability to think ahead, which is what makes this a close fight.For those who say Neji has no chance at all, I say ur wrong. Neji has a good chance at beating Sasuke. Don't underestimate Neji and don't overestimate Sasuke.
In the end, however, I believe Sasuke has gotten to powerful over the time-skip for Neji 2 be able to beat him.

I really do not think we have seen all that the Hyuuga clan has to offer. I will also say when it comes to PURE talent, Neji has the lion's share. Sasuke has the curse mark to aid him but as we have seen, while effective the curse mark will not be the deciding factor in a battle. See the Sasuke Retrieval Arc.
We have never seen Sasuke caught in a genjutsu while using his Sharingan. Look it up if you do not believe me. We also have not seen Neji caught in a genjutsu either. I think for dojutsu they just are not effected. As far as ninjutsu is concerns I think since the sharingan can see the flow of chakra that is why a sharingan user excels against another ninjutsu user. I would also venture to say that ninjutsu may not fair as well with a Byakugan user because they can actually see chakra. When you use ninjutsu you are only attacking with a force of chakra made into something you form with hand signs. I am not saying ninjutsu will not work against Neji, I am just saying do not underestimate the Byakugan. Neji has stated that any attacks involving chakra will not work against him. Once he finds out how the nature of chakra is working inside an attack I would say he MAY be able to nullify it.
I say it would be a damn good fight and I say Masashi Kishimoto should set it up.

Let me 1st say that I've been waiting all day for you 2 respond to this. Your arguably (or however u spell that, I lack in that department lately) one of the best debaters on this forum, so I was waiting 2 see what u had 2 say to this.

- I believe by reading this post, I have come to terms that I may have underestimated what the Hyuuga clan can do. I took a limited view of what is was and just looked at what Neji can do. There probably is A LOT more that Hiashi (THAT'S HIS NAME) knows, and that Neji is atm getting trained 2 use more of the blood limit jutsus.
- I have 2 disagree with Neji having the Lions share of pure talent. It's been said many times that Sasuke has tons of potential. I'm am putting the potential factor in2 a class of pure talent, because it has to do with how strong one can actually become. Also, Orochimaru was one of the best genius's around, he extended and created many jutsus, and even he said "When I'm looking at this child... The fact that I used to be called a genius looks pitiful." (chapter 343 pg3). Neji is a genius as well, but he isn't as big of one as orochimaru was, and orochimaru even says that Sasuke is more of 1 than he is, so I believe Pure Talent goes 2 Sasuke, even without the curse mark. Also the curse mark has been the deciding factor 1 time. Sasuke killed Orochimaru with Genjutsu, and he survived Deidera with quick thinking by summoning the snake Manda to take the blow.
- While neither have been caught in a Genjutsu (with Sasuke's being the case when he has sharingan), The advantage Sasuke has with Genjutsu is that he can use it, while Neji can't, that is all I was trying to point out with that. That is the advantage, not the deciding factor, as I believe Neji is 2 smart of a factor to be caught in a genjutsu easily, if at all.
- Taijutsu I believe would not solve this fight at all. Neji's attacks are very dangerous, and Sasuke has his Sharingan to see moves coming, and Neji has an incredible defence, and Sasuke has incredible speed, so I believe no advantage comes out of using Taijutsu.
- Ninjutsu would be interesting. it would be tough for Sasuke to hit Neji with a Ninjutsu, because Neji can see the flow of chakra with his Byakugan, as u stated. We have Neji learning to use his bloodline jutsus, and we have Sasuke with a huge arsenal of jutsus that were taught 2 him by Orochimaru. For all we know, either one of them could pull something out of their a** that we've never seen b4 that could swing the fight in either way. I'm really sorry, but I'm bringing up Kisame again lol. Like Kisame did, he could catch Neji by surprise with a Ninjutsu when Neji's guard isn't as alert or if he overcommits to an attack. And with Sasuke as strong as he is, it would really turn the battle in his favour. But I guess the same could be said for Neji, he could catch Sasuke off guard, but it would be amazingly hard to do that with Sasuke's Sharingan, as he can see a lot of moves coming. And it would also be amazingly hard to hit Neji with his Byakugan. I look at the odds though, and I think that Sasuke would have a better chance of hitting Neji with a Ninjutsu than Neji hitting Sasuke.

In summary.
- I give Genjutsu advantage 2 Sasuke.
- I give Taijutsu advantage 2 no one, I think they are equal.
- I give Ninjutsu advantage to Sasuke
- I give bloodline ability advantage to Neji, he's being trained to use his while Sasuke has just been trained in a ton of jutsus that other people can learn
- I give Defensive ability advantage to Neji, I personally think that the Hyuuga clan has the best defense period.
- I give offence advantage to Sasuke. Speed and a big arsenal tend to tip the scales in one's favour.

- As for the fight, I still want to give it 2 Sasuke. I know they are both powerful in their own rights, But I like to think that when one has more to throw, and a wider range of jutsus at his/her call, I tend to think they have the advantage. Still, as you said this would be a damn good fight.

- I'd want Kishimoto to set it up, but I'm not sure it would do the fight justice. The way the story is going, they would most likely have Sasuke win. so I'd rather we just theorize about what would happen. Because sometimes the way the story goes is not actually the way it should happen.

N e ways, I'm guna be gone for a few days, but I'm looking forward to your reply to what I've said, and I'll reply back accordingly once I've read what you said.

I personally do not give Taijutsu to Sasuke because I think he got his speed from Lee. I do not think he could maintain that speed for very long as he does not have Lee's stamina. Even if he could keep that speed for long think about this. Lee was using the Gates as his trump card against Neji, not his speed. That tells me that even with his ankle weights off he was no match for Neji. That gives me the indication that speed is a non issue for someone with a Dojutsu.
I say Genjutsu is a non-issue for both. I feel that with a Dojutsu they would be able to see the true nature of a visual jutsu and probably will be able to work around an audible genjutsu.
Ninjutsu... We have only seen Neji only perform the jutsu native to his clan. I would like to think he would have access to more but that would be asking a lot in this situation. However since his clan deals with the true nature of manipulating actual chakra I would say that they have access to endless jutsu to nullify enemy chakra and also increase their own. (My Opinion)

We only seen Neji actually get physically hit one time in the whole Naruto Series. He got torn to shreds by Kidomaru but that was a special case (which Neji still won). He only got hit because his guard was down and his Byakugan was deactivated. I would venture to say there is hardly anyone who could handle a Hyuuga by pure taijutsu alone. Also as I said before there is probably only a handful of Ninjas that have a technique that could in theory break the Kaiten. Kidomaru's sticky web and anyone who can perform the Rasengan. The Kaiten spins one way. The Rasengan spins multiple ways so it could possibly nullify it. Kidomaru's sticky webs, since they are full of chakra were able to slow the Kaiten down by sticking to Neji. Anyway since the Chidori is only concentrated chakra I do not see it breaking the Kaiten. It still will be a good fight but I am not willing to sway one way or the other. Yes, I am a Neji fan but I am not willing to sway to Sasuke or Neji on this one. They both are just too good.

Stamina is not a problem, Kakashi said Sasuke would die if he used Chidori 3 times, he used it four(he never really slept, just kept in isolation), and he was still able to walk away on two feet, even though he was limping he still has great chakra store, which leads to great Stamina.

That's cause speed and taijutsu was all he had.

Neji was as well surprised with the ankle weights. Your forgetting that it showed Lee's last fight with Neji, Neji never saw the incredible speed nor the gates. Neji was as surprised as everyone....except Sakura....he hair like exploded. And exactly, the 64 trigrams, Sasuke can block, cause Neji's arms are moving as fast as Naruto was and Sasuke blocked it easily.

Yes! He lost because he let his guard down. Fatal mistake. I doubt he'd do that again, but if he does it will again cost him the match.

You forget the Shadow Possesion, since a shadow is only sight, it's nothing, just something you see, it can get through it. While I agree that only two things that Sasuke has can get through the Kaiten(Shadow Snak Hands from Underground, and summoning), i still believe he can get around that. Also, Naruto beat Neji in taijutsu alone, to prove a point, and he did beat him.

It still will be a good fight but I am not willing to sway one way or the other. Yes, I am a Neji fan but I am not willing to sway to Sasuke or Neji on this one. They both are just too good.

I personally do not give Taijutsu to Sasuke because I think he got his speed from Lee. I do not think he could maintain that speed for very long as he does not have Lee's stamina. Even if he could keep that speed for long think about this. Lee was using the Gates as his trump card against Neji, not his speed. That tells me that even with his ankle weights off he was no match for Neji. That gives me the indication that speed is a non issue for someone with a Dojutsu.
not as his "trump card" but as an honor of respect, there's no way neji could it had keep up with Lee's speed(weights off) there's basicly no logic that explain how neji would it had come to a victory, you cannot hit what you cannot see! The gate were only a reinforcement.

I say Genjutsu is a non-issue for both. I feel that with a Dojutsu they would be able to see the true nature of a visual jutsu and probably will be able to work around an audible genjutsu.
We have physical evidence of this only on Sasuke when he broke out oruchimaru's genjutsu without a struggle, Neji on the other hand i highly doubt he's even near on reaching Sasuke. Sasuke is capable of compressing the kyuubi's chakra, this just seem impossible for someone like neji to accomplish in his whole life.

If neji dare to lay a single finger on sasuke CS2 he's a gonner, it's suicidal going close range against CS2 not even the kyuubi's chakra was fast eneough to heal naruto's broken arm and though you might argue not I beleive this determined the outcome of that battle.

Yes, I am a Neji fan but I am not willing to sway to Sasuke or Neji on this one. They both are just too good.

I do feel that (since we do not know if my opinion is true or not) that Sasuke has the advantage in Ninjutsu, especially since his teacher was Orochimaru (one of the legendary sannin).

Also as I said before there is probably only a handful of Ninjas that have a technique that could in theory break the Kaiten. Kidomaru's sticky web and anyone who can perform the Rasengan. The Kaiten spins one way. The Rasengan spins multiple ways so it could possibly nullify it. Kidomaru's sticky webs, since they are full of chakra were able to slow the Kaiten down by sticking to Neji. Anyway since the Chidori is only concentrated chakra I do not see it breaking the Kaiten. It still will be a good fight but I am not willing to sway one way or the other. Yes, I am a Neji fan but I am not willing to sway to Sasuke or Neji on this one. They both are just too good.

- I wouldn't give Taijutsu 2 either, this fight could not be won with pure Taijutsu. Neji is to rock solid on defence and his style of taijutsu is really dangerous. Sakura was surprised at Sasuke's speed when he went over to Naruto, and she had seen Sasuke's fight with Gaara when he had attained Lee's speed. So that gives me the impression that his speed is NOW his own that he attained while training for 3 years. Speed would not be Sasuke's Trump Card, it would be the way he avoids Neji's attacks, which in turn, makes it so Taijutsu goes to neither, because Neji won't be able to hit Sasuke because he can dodge with the speed he has, and Sasuke wouldn't be able to hit Neji because Neji is to rock solid with his defence. However, just for the record, I believe if 1 of them was to land a lucky shot on the other, Neji would hit Sasuke, but I still believe none of them would hit the other with both of them alert.
- Genjutsu, while I believe both are able to avoid a Genjutsu in a fight against eachother (Neji because he's smart enough to know to avoid his eyes, and Sasuke because Neji can't to Genjutsu), The advantage goes to Sasuke in Genjutsu, simply because he CAN pull a Genjutsu out and perform it while Neji doesn't do Genjutsu and doesn't know Genjutsu (assuming from what we've seen so far)
- Kidomaru was using Ninjutsu on Neji (may be wrong there, I'll check my facts later). Kidomaru wasn't thrashing Neji because his guard was down, but he was tearing him apart because he took the time to sit back and find the blind spot of Neji's Byakugan, and when he found it, he kept pounding away at it (go back to the fight, chapter 195-196, and see for urself) Neji won because he strategized a way to find him, because he knew he wouldn't find him unless he took a shot from him and followed the string back, so he took a shot, followed the string, and pounded Kidomaru. I do agree with your statement of " there is hardly anyone who could handle a Hyuuga by pure taijutsu alone." I think it would be extremely difficult to beat a Hyuuga on pure Taijutsu, if not impossible. I'm also not sure if Chidori could break the Kaiten, however, Sasuke is very fast (I will stick by that to the very end xD) and Neji can't just sit there and spin forever. That and Sasuke has way more jutsus in his aresenal, and we both assume that Neji is mainly, if not completely trained in jutsus native to his clan. We could be wrong, but I highly doubt it atm. But I guess we may not know every jutsu that is native to the clan, so he probably has a little more jutsus than we've seen. It would be hard for either to hit eachother with a Ninjutsu, because Neji's style deals with the nature of chakra, and he can see it. Sasuke has his Sharingan and can see moves before they come. In this situation, unlike with Taijutsu, I feel that if 1 was to hit the other, it would be Sasuke.

This fight overall, I believe they would have a very hard time hitting eachother at all, with Taijutsu, Genjutsu, or Ninjutsu. It would be a VERY close fight, and as has been the case throughout our whole little debate, I'm really having a hard time choosing sides. I still sway a little bit to the side of Sasuke though. I think the only reason I sway to his side a little, is because he has a whole slew of jutsus and ways he can attack a person in his repetoir (or however u spell that). This would be a very good fight though, as we keep saying xD, and I believe both would have 1 hell of a time even hitting the other. They are both damn good, and I have a hard time choosing who I want to go with. In the end though (I am adding another element to this debate). I think Sasuke would make 1st contact and eventually win. This fight could have a lot to do with stamina, and who is able to keep going longer, and I highly believe that in this case, it would be Sasuke.

- Chouji killed cs2 Jiroubu
- Neji killed cs2 Kidomaru
- Temari killed cs2 Tayuya
- Kankarou killed cs2 Sakon and Ukon
- Gaara partly killed cs2 Kimimaru

cs2 is not unbeatable, remember that. I don't care if your normal or cs2, if you take a shot from Neji, he's guna cut off chakra supply. Let's watch cs2 come back from chakra supply shortage.
If you want 2 bring up that Naruto came back from chakra cut off, remember that it was the Kyuubis chakra, not his own that he got. Sasuke doesn't exactly have a demon to rely on chakra from. If it was Taijutsu based fight between Sasuke and Neji, I'd lean towards Neji's side a little. But since it's all 3, I am on Sasuke's because he has a high Stamina, and he has a ton of jutsus and abilities in his arsenal. Wow, I'm arguing against my own side, but I have my reasons.

Anyway, I really do not see speed as a problem for Neji. Also in the chunin exams I really don't remember seeing a surprised look from Neji. Also Neji is on Lee's team. Tenten and Neji weren't surprised. I am almost sure of it. I will watch it later on to be sure but I am almost sure of it. Everyone is so sure of Sasuke's speed but what everyone is failing to realize is that Neji doesn't have to hit directly. A nick or a graze can be damaging as well. A block can be fatal because he can emit chakra from any point in his body. He said that in his fight with Kidomaru. I honestly think we have a stalemate.

Also since we always seem to go around and around with this genjutsu thing Masashi has never put Neji in a genjutsu so we can just agree to disagree but I will say that if the Byakugan can see actual chakra and his vision is super enhanced I seriously doubt he would get caught in one since his normal vision is no longer normal with the Byakugan activated. Deactivated I could see it. Even if he is caught, I would think all he would need to do is activate his Byakugan to cancel it out.

To add to my opinion, Every sharingan user I have seen who were caught while using their sharingan very shortly turned the genjutsu on the opponent. See Sasuke and Orochimaru and Itachi vs Kurenai. I think they (if caught) look at the nature of the genjutsu and simply reverse the effect. MY OPINION, but it makes sense to me. I think they both would get exhausted and it would end in a stalemate. I do not think Sasuke would win. If either one did win, one of them would have to make a grave mistake. If they both fight flawlessly then we would see no winner unless someone fought dirty. I like both characters, I like Neji better but I like both because both have great potential.

If you still think Sasuke would win I am willing to agree to disagree. I really do not see how either could pull ahead and that is being as generous as I can. Good debate though.

Omg I'm late for action well in my opinion Neji would win this one since he can't be caught in genjutsu,he has his ultimate defense to counter Sasuke's ninjutsu and in Taijutsu he will prevail.Neji is the best shinobi in the whole anime,cause he don't need anybody's help only his pure fighting ability.
Sasuke got CS2 from orochimaru,gaara had shukaku,naruto has kyuubi and so on.Neji fight with power he achieved by himself not given like other shinobis

Also remember when Zabuza captured sharingan kakashi in water prison he couldn't free himself without help from his teammates but neji broke 2 water prisons at once(3rd prison was broken by lee after neji freed him).

- Ninjutsu, Sasuke (this is probably the toughest one, but I give it to Sasuke. Neji's ninjutsu is limited to his clan's dojutsu, and Sasuke has a wide variety of ninjutsu.)

Yeah, good one. They both are too calm and probably wouldn't underestimate each other. They both are dangerous. I doubt any grave mistakes will be made. I see some testing the waters but not grave mistakes.

The outcome? I see Neji getting singed a bit by fire and I see Sasuke with a few chakra points closed off and them both with no fight left beating each other with sticks...

Your forgetting that Naruto hit Sasuke's forehead protector. I'm not sure what everybody thinks about this, I'm not sure about how many would agree with me, but I believe that Naruto pulled back his Rasengan from hitting Sasuke at the last moment. Also, my response to what you said was no mistake. The way you phrased your statement b4 made it look as so you were referring to all cs2's. Also, how often has Sasuke been in cs2 in his fights in shippuuden? Not very often. So while he may have improved it, it also still seems that he can't hold his cs2 form very long.\

Yes he was caught in 30% clones. Not only were they 30% clones, but they were clones of the already 30% Kisame. However, Kisame was smart and quick thinking in catching them. And also, if Neji didn't break them out, who would've?.... No one.

No one was doubting this but what you are failing to realize is that others improve as well.

Exactly,-the bold part- Sauke did not had a single piece of data on Diadara, Kakahsi + Naruto + Gai + Neji + Lee + Tenten where uncapable of killing a low level Diadara compare to his current level when he fought Sasuke.

Kakashi did disable Deidara and he did it with no information to go on. Naruto didn't really do anything. Kakashi also saved everyone from Deidara's attack. Sasuke didn't really beat Deidara, he merely survived... No one but Sasuke and Kakashi (partly Naruto) got their hands on Deidara. So the above comment is untrue completely. Deidara is hardly low level as well.

I HAVE TO SAY IM IMPRESSED...AND I AGREE,neji is strong,and in manga,his power increased exponentially,but this is sasuke we're talking about. If you read the mangas and have seen some of his latest fights,then you know what he is capable of. What is Kirin anyways?
Kirin is a move that Sasuke uses when he uses fire techs to heat up the atmosphere and makes rain clouds. Then he can actually summon a massive dragon shaped lightning bolt from the sky to strike at what ever Sasuke chooses at 1/1000 of a second. I can give you the page # if you would like.

Neji went from Genin to Jounin in 2 years time with his strength alone, no curse mark, no demon fox augmenting his strength. He represents pure raw talent. Also I would venture to say that if he busted his arse to get Jounin he will definitely not stop there (unless Masashi Kishimoto makes him stop which will be a travesty of justice).

I knew this would come up. Kaiten or rotation I prefer rotation cause its just eaier. Is on a way lower level than Susanoo. The reason Itachi was not hit was because of the legendary mirror shield thing. Rotation doesnt have those special properties. Also we havnt seen rotation block anything exceptional like that f Kirin.

Kirin is far to powerful for this and will completely shatter through rotation also because Kirin isnt just chakra from a user it is actual natures force.

The full extent of Nejis power can only be measures to that o what we have seen of him last. Which is when he fought himself(the doppleganger) when Sakura and Chiyo fought Sasori and Kakashi used MS for the first time. That is all we can judge Neji by right now. The only thing we have seen actuall hit it is kunai, some floating mysterious blades, some shadow clones that go poof if you even look at them wrong. Ok I got one the fight with Kidomaru. Kidomaru was still able to penetrate the rotation with his arrows. Neji was only able to throw them off a bit. Ok So now double that it would still penetrate but wouldnt actually go to far into the meat to do fatal damage. But now look at the power if Kirin itself. It is at least 1000 times stronger than the arrows Kidomaru was using to penetrate Neji Rotation. Kirin will blast right through it and completely destroy everything. If you look at theblast from Kirin you see that it leveled the entire mountain.

The kaiten was not penetrated by anything. It was slowed by Kidomaru's webs because the webs chakra was able to move against the chakra of the kaiten to slow it down making it ineffective to block all of Kidomaru's attacks. Thus by attacking from everywhere and making it so Neji was slowed by Kidomaru's webs he could deduce the weakness of Neji's defenses because the Kaiten IS a perfect defense. He deduced that Neji had a blind spot and he "tried" to exploit it, however, Neji was able to push chakra to his blind spot throwing off attacks that could have been very fatal than the attacks that did hit him keeping him in the fight. Kidomaru was also out of the Byakugan's range as well. NOTHING has broken the Kaiten. I theorize that the only thing that could possibly break the Kaiten is the Rasengan. The rasengan is a ball of chakra moving in all directions thus nullifying it and the Kaiten. That is just theory though.
So for you to say that it would "blast right through it" is a bold statement. Yes the Kirin (Sasuke's major lightening attack for you all who still have no idea) is a powerful attack but there is no leading proof that it will break through. Here is why I say this. Also Matt, good observation on that as well. The truth is we do not know. We can just theorize. There is no wrong answer. It all comes to which side of the fence you want to stand on and either side is cool because there is no concrete facts. Also The Uchiha Clan are embedded deeply in the "Naruto storyline so ofcourse Masashi is focusing more on Sasuke's abilities. Naturally we will see more of Sasuke's abilities.

Kakashi cut a regular lightining bolt. Kirin was much larger and in the shape of a dragon. Which is not regular. It is also a tech that Zetsu said himself was an attack that is almost inhuman. The rotation wont hold against such a massive and destructive move. But the part with Kakashi is that he never cut Kirin. Where as I already explained Kirin is not a regular lightning bolt.

If Sasuke is able to use the elemental Kirin he did against Itachi, the chances of which are very likely coz all he needs to do is fire those 2 fire dragons into the sky... and Neji has no jutsu to negate that. Neji's kaiten has no way to stop that ginormous Kirin.

There hasnt really been any proof that he has a regular lightning bolt attack. There was the one part where it looked as though he was going to use it on Naruto and friends when they went to find him. But we cant consider it the same attack since we didnt get to see it.

The whole emphasis on Kirin is killing me. The thing that everyone is failing to realize is that nothing gets inside the Kaiten. We have never seen it so technically you can not say it. You can ONLY theorize that it will happen. You can not say that you have proof that it will happen because that is a lie. You have no logical proof that it will get through. All I am hearing here is that it is a big attack. So what.

I am not trying to be difficult or piss anyone off but I am saying think about this logically. Look at Sasuke's track record. Think about how the attacks works. Think about the motion of chakra. You have a big bolt of energy and you have a spinning mass of temporary solid energy in the form of a ball (that causes small craters when performed might I add). If you look at this logically, if anything it will either deflect the Kirin or it will move the Kaiten to another location. Spin a basketball and hit it with a broom stick as hard as you can. If we were talking about Sasuke's Chidori Nagashi I would have long been corrected about the penetrateing thing. But I wasnt because even I dont think Chidori/Raikiri could penetrate it. But see now we are talking about Kirin. Which is a super strong attack. A mixture of his own attack and a mixture of nature itself. That would be plenty to go through and kill Neji.

No it isn't. It just uses elemental recomposition... I believe the chakra manipulation is very very less in there. Else, Kakashi would not have said that he himself and the 4th failed to complete Rasengan; forcing Kakashi to invent chidori... which decidedly does not use both elemental recomposition and spatial recomposition, but just the former.

His fire Jutsus can only go mid range at the most and they take up a lot of his chakra. Sasuke didn't have chidori yet either. Neji had his Gentle fist, rotation and Byakugan. If Sasuke did a fire technique then Neji would either dodge it or use rotation. And its not hard to dodge a fire technique unless its close range or a fast Jutsu. Thats why they r usually uses at the end of a combo attack. If the got into close range taijutsu Neji would destroy Sasuke. They only way Sasuke would win is if he got a fire attack on Neji but that wouldn't happen.

Lets not forget Madara countered it, and it is a jutsu that could easily be countered by a shadow clone or replacement jutsu. The amateratsu is not that broken a technique, and it is really overated so come up with another jutsu that can beat Neji.

1. Sasuke's wing did not stop it, it set his wing on fire and continued to burn his entire lower body. Had he not used Orochimaru's technique he would've died.

It doesn't need to be stated, because the ability to dissolve genjutsu is required before you can even become a jounin. It is a genin level ability. Sakura could do so, and Neji is far superior to her.
