Who would win?
I'd say Lee, he could easily catch up to Neji and if he needed to he could use the Gates at anytime.
(btw, I searched and couldn't find another topic like this, but if there is one, I'm sorry x_X)

Lee has his speed and brutal force and what good wuld neji do with his attacks if he wuldnot be able to hit enemy ^^ but on other hand he has that defense of his and that culd stop Lee.

Every time we see Lee in a fight people say "LEE OPENS ALL THE GATES AND ITS OWNED!!!!"
Why didn't he do it with Kimimaru? If it is that easy why not do it in every fight?

Why not use them in every fight? Thats his lats attack and if he opens all gates he is out for alot of time soo he relly cant use it unles he has some friends with him.
And like everyone sad if Lee wuld use his speed, Neji wuldnt be able to hit him, thats simply not the way of Neji to fight.

Neji has his Byakugan soo maybe he wuld be able to see Lees attacks but did anyone ever saw Neji moveing as fast as Lee ? Did Neji ever get even close to his speed? And Lee is very bad at giveing up.:D

It's funny, you say that...because Lee never took off his weights against Neji...he never used the gates against Neji, he never used the lotus against Neji....
He barely did anything against Neji.
Now, Lee would win.
Because 4 gates breaks the barrier of sound, that's faster than Neji can keep up with.
And then times that by 500 Neji is DEAD.
Neji would be killed within 1 second when Lee opens the 8 gates.
Your right on that one if Lee uses the gates Neji will have no chance beating him

and Lee sees Naruto, Sasuke, Gaara and other as big rivels as Neji now :P He was biggest rival becouse he was in his team and Lee didnt know others but now when ninja world is bigger for him i dont think Neji is his bigest rival. i mean Naruto defeated Neji...;)

Another point to bring out...if Neji uses his gentle fist against lee what good would it do?????Lee doesn't use that much chakra, yeah it might hurt him(if someone keeps poking at you all the time it hurt like hell)but it won't affect him as bad as any other ninja who would use chakra! LEE WINS

Lee cause he doesn't need to use chakra..so blocking his chakra points wouldn't be to much of a problem for him..

i'm thinking that neji would win.
1. gentle fist style: air blast
2. closing off the chakra points with 128 Divine Strikes would close off lee's chakra points. this means his physical ones too, so lee can't move. even his eight gates requires chakra so how can he fight if they're closed off?

that's why neji is a jonin now. his speed is much higher than lees. plus he's been sparring with him for a while since their on the same team. he's undoubtedly found a way to break lees speed.

Neji is no where close to lee's speed.
And yes that's right he's on Lee's team yet he had no idea he was as fast as he was without the weights nor did he know about the gates.
I'm sorry but Neji is not as fast as Lee and the only people who can defend that are people who match that speed or have Sharingan.
Otherwise you can't react quick enough to such speed.
