Hmmm yeah. I must agree with you. But references to alcohol? Violence, Nudity and Profanity (the ol' trio) I can understand, but alcohol..? And Lee isn't exactly happy to be drunk... I think that actually shows some negative effects of alcohol... quite educational, actually.

Personally, I was disappointed with the drastic censoring. But I get the points about kids seeing Lee get drunk and use it as a role model.
Besides, the Valley of the End totally makes up for it. Episodes 132 and 133 showed that the dubbed version isn't always horrible, and can actually do a good job.

The whole "loopy fist" thing pissed me off.I ranted to my cousin who doesn't even like Naruto for like a half an hour about it.And 2 days later I went into school and my friend who's a MAJOR Rock Lee fangirl was ranting about it.She was soooo mad!Christina doesn't get mad easily,so it was shocking.

We were both pissed and complaining our usual complaint that if they're gonna fuck up Naruto,they should just put the unedited version on Adult Swim instead because they shouldn't have to dumb it down so much for little kids.It's totally ridiculous that they won't just do that.

i can lay in my bed and eat and enjoy the battles and funni parts without squinting at my computer screen 2 see the subtitles!!
and Naruto is on Cartoon Network, so what do u expect?? i mean, seriously, giving little kids the idea that going around fighting and acting like they r drunk doesnt make the station look good, so they hav 2 change it..and realli!! its a network for CARTOONS!! and who watches cartoons?? little kids who dont kno any better than 2 listen 2 what the TV says, so there ya go xD
