ok so this is a story i wrote about Kakashi and why he's always late. Just so you know it's a love story so there is some hugging and kissing here and there but that's it! i promise..... now i'm warning you....it's really long so if you don't like to read long stories i suggest you don't read it because it is EXTREMELY long. :D well if you decided to stick around i hope you enjoy it. oh and it's not quite done so at the end there is a "TBC......" ok so enough chit chat here it is.....

It was an average day in Konoha. Kakashi was reading Icha Icha Paradise again for the bazillionth time this week as he watched his three young Genin students practicing like usual. “Oww! You idiot!! Watch where the heck you’re aiming!” Naruto shouted. “Well maybe if your head wasn’t so big you knuckleheaded ninja!” Sakura screamed. “I am not a knuckleheaded ninja!!” Naruto retorted. Kakashi put down Icha Icha Paradise and strode over to his two bickering students while Sasuke watched nearby. Kakashi said, “Ok you two calm down”. Naruto exclaimed, “She started it!” “Did not” “Did too” “Did not” Kakashi then began to get annoyed “ok that’s enough you two!! Don’t make me use my Lightning Blade Jutsu on you!” Naruto and Sakura stopped immediately and began to shudder at the thought of Kakashi unleashing his most powerful and dangerous Jutsu. Their Sensei was normally calm and relaxed, but when he got angry it wasn’t pretty, in fact it was terrifying. “Good now that you’re all calmed down I can tell you that your training is over for the day” Kakashi said. Naruto exclaimed “oh cool! Thanks Kakashi-Sensei!” and Kakashi smiled under his mask as he watched them run away. Kakashi decided to go to his secret spot to read his book and he knew that he wouldn’t be disturbed because no one but him knew where it was. He was sitting there quietly when all of a sudden he heard rustling in the bushes. He put his book away and took his fighting stance. “Who’s there?” Kakashi shouted. Someone started to walk out of the bushes. “Who the heck are you and how do you know about this place!?” Kakashi said, getting angry. Just then a beautiful young ninja about Kakashi’s age with beautiful shoulder length, silvery white hair that matched the color of Kakashi’s and dazzling black eyes that matched the exact shade of Kakashi’s visible eye, walked towards him. “Kakashi” she said, in a voice as beautiful as her face, “Is that anyway to treat me of all people?” Kakashi stared at her. “Katana” Kakashi said. “I’m sorry I didn’t know it was you. Did anyone see you coming here?” Kakashi was worried that someone might have followed her here, for you see no one knew about her and Kakashi’s relationship even though they had Jonin missions together all the time no one seemed to pick up on it. This for them was good because they weren’t quite ready for people to know about them being together. She smiled at him and said “no” and then she hugged him and Kakashi sighed with relief as he rubbed the uncovered side of his face into her soft hair. Then she reached for his mask and he didn’t stop her as she pulled it down and kissed him. She went to pull away but Kakashi pulled her closer. They were there for hours. Then Kakashi stopped kissing Katana and his visible eye widened with shock. Katana said in a worried voice “Kakashi? What’s wrong? Was it something I did?” Kakashi hurriedly replied “no, it’s not you. I just forgot I was supposed to meet Jiraiya at Icharuka’s almost half an hour ago! I forgot he invited me to lunch to talk about Icha Icha Paradise.” Then Katana asked “can I come? You know I love the Icha Icha series as much as you do and I mean it’s not like people haven’t seen us walking and talking about it before. Everyone knows that I love the series as much as you. Plus it’s not like we’ll be broadcasting our love for each other. It’s only lunch. Plus Jiraiya will be there. And even if he wasn’t there people wouldn’t suspect anything because we’re Jonin teammates (yes even Jonin-Sensei’s have teams for advanced missions) after all” Then Kakashi thought about it for a minute and said “yeah ok. And you know you’re right.” and he kissed her, pulled up his mask, and disappeared in a puff of smoke. She quickly followed. When she arrived at the village entrance she found Kakashi waiting for her. Kakashi said “let’s go” and they walked to Icharuka’s talking about Icha Icha Paradise. Then Jiraiya saw Kakashi walking towards him with Katana and said “about time you got here Kakashi! Are you ever on time for anything?” “Sorry I kept you waiting Jiraiya, I got lost on a road called life” Kakashi said in his calm voice. “And I see you brought along Katana. *to Katana* Hello Katana. How is your Genin team?” Jiraiya asked her. And Katana replied “what Genin team? All my students failed to pass from the Academy. So I have no Genin team at the moment. Iruka said he was going to assign me to be the second Sensei for an already existing team, but he didn’t say which one. I’m supposed to meet him in about half an hour” Then Jiraiya laughed and said “So Kakashi, how many times have you read Icha Icha Paradise this week?”. Kakashi chuckled and said “Oh only about 5 times” and Jiraiya laughed again and sarcastically said “only 5 times?” Then the three of them sat there and talked until Katana said “well, I have to go meet with Iruka. I’ll see you around Jiraiya. See you later Kakashi” then Kakashi replied “see you. I just hope you don’t end up with Gai! He’ll drive you nuts!” Katana laughed and said “tell me about it!” and she walked towards the Academy where she knew Iruka was bound to be. Meanwhile Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura were sitting around in the grass. They had nothing better to do because they we’re usually training with their sensei, Kakashi. “This is so boring!!” Naruto complained. Sakura said “well we’re usually training with Kakashi-Sensei, but he let us go early” then Sasuke said “well I don’t know about you two but I’m outta here” he began to walk away and Sakura said as she blushed “great idea Sasuke!” and followed him, leaving Naruto alone. “Oh that’s real nice! Just leaving me here!” Naruto yelled at them, but they were too far away for them to hear him. Naruto sighed and said to himself “I wonder what Kakashi-Sensei is up to anyways” so he decided to go find his Sensei. Naruto found Kakashi at Icharuka’s still talking to Jiraiya. Naruto ran over to them as he waved and said “Hey Kakashi-Sensei! Pervy Sage!” Jiraiya smiled and said in a surprised tone “Naruto! What brings you here?” “I’m just bored” Naruto replied. Then Kakashi said to him “Hello Naruto. Where are Sasuke and Sakura?”. Naruto said, in an annoyed tone, “they just left me all alone and walked off to go find something better to do!”. Just then Iruka came over. Naruto waved happily and said “Hi Iruka-Sensei!” “Oh hello Naruto, i wasn’t expecting you to be here” Iruka said. Then Kakashi chuckled and said “are you kidding me? This place is like his second home. That’s all he talks about during training. Ramen, ramen and more ramen” Kakashi, Jiraiya and Iruka laughed while Naruto gave his sensei a glare. Then Iruka said “Kakashi, I need to discuss something with you” then Kakashi calmly replied “ok” and the two senseis walked a short distance away to where they wouldn’t be overheard. “How would you feel about having another Sensei to help you with your team?” Iruka asked. Kakashi thought about it a minute and replied “yeah i could use an extra hand especially with Naruto around” Iruka chuckled and said “well he is a handful. Ok bring your team to the Mission reception area tomorrow to meet them” Kakashi nodded and they walked back over. Then Iruka said “hey Naruto, how about some Ramen? My treat” Naruto excitedly said “ok! Thanks Iruka-Sensei!” And Iruka ordered 4 bowls of ramen, one for himself, one for Naruto, one for Kakashi and one for Jiraiya. Then Kakashi said “thanks Iruka, this was nice of you” and Jiraiya agreed and said “yeah” Naruto began slurping away happily, then Iruka and Jiraiya began to eat theirs. Naruto looked over at Kakashi and then it hit him! Kakashi was about to take off his mask in front of all of them! Naruto watched Kakashi excitedly but then disappointedly went back to his ramen as he saw Kakashi lower his mask, but put up Icha Icha Paradise simultaneously to hide his face. Then Naruto asked “hey Kakashi-Sensei”, Kakashi finished his ramen and pulled up his mask as he put his book down “yeah?” he replied. “Why do you always wear that mask? And when you do take it off why do you hide behind your book? What’s behind it anyways?” Naruto asked curiously. Then Kakashi calmly said “you know...I’m not really sure why I wear it. It’s just a habit. As for what’s behind it. Well you’ll find out soon enough” Naruto sighed and then said “I’ll see you tomorrow Kakashi-Sensei. Bye Pervy Sage. Bye Iruka-Sensei and thanks for the ramen!” Naruto walked home seeing as he had nothing else to do. Then Iruka left and Jiraiya said “well Kakashi, I have to go talk to Tsunade about something, Important Sannin stuff.” And he walked away heading towards the Hokage’s house leaving Kakashi alone. Kakashi decided to go just walk around the village and read his book. As Kakashi wandered around he ran into a few people he knew and stopped to talk to them. First he ran into Shizune. He asked her how she was and what was new. Then she told him she couldn’t talk long because she was doing something for Tsunade. And then he ran into Gai, who naturally challenged him to yet another competition. Gai said “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Kakashi!” Kakashi looked over the top of Icha Icha Paradise and said “what do you want now Gai? Can’t you see I’m trying to read my book?” Then Gai said “It’s my turn to pick the challenge Kakashi!” then Kakashi sighed and said “very well then, what’ll it be this time?” as he put his book away. Gai said “a race around the village! First one back here wins! And if I lose I will so 3000 push ups!!” Kakashi sighed and said in his calm voice “ok whatever” then they got ready to race and Gai shouted to Lee “Lee count us down!” then Lee replied “Yes Gai-Sensei...ready! Three, two one! GO!” and they raced. Kakashi wasn’t worried one bit because he knew he was faster than Gai. Kakashi was the first one back, with Gai close behind. Lee looked a little disappointed and then Kakashi said “that puts me ahead. 51 wins and 50 losses” Gai said “I will beat you the next time Kakashi!” Kakashi just shrugged and walked away reading Icha Icha paradise. He realized that it was late so he headed home and got some sleep. The next morning Kakashi headed to where he usually met up with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura and found them there waiting impatiently because he was late...again as usual. Kakashi said “ok you three! I have some news for you” then Sakura excitedly said “ooh what? Is it good?” then Kakashi said “you’re getting another sensei.” Then Naruto and Sakura looked baffled and said “WHAT!?” Sasuke just stared in confusion. Then Naruto said “But Kakashi-Sensei what about you!?” Then Kakashi chuckled “you misunderstood me. I’m still going to be your sensei. We’re just getting another sensei to help out. So now you’ll have two senseis.” Then Naruto and Sakura sighed with relief and Sasuke said “whatever.” Kakashi said “ok now we have to go see Iruka so he can introduce us. And i have no idea who our new sensei is. Iruka didn’t even tell me if it was a guy or a girl” So with that they headed to meet Iruka. There stood Iruka in his usual spot. Kakashi said “Hello Iruka. So where is this new Sensei?” Iruka shouted to someone in another room, “come over here please!” and then Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura all looked as they saw none other than Katana walking towards them. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura jokingly always called her “The Female Kakashi” because she dressed almost exactly like him, except for the mask and the skewed headband, and her hair, but she could easily just put gel in it and it would match Kakashi’s exactly, not to mention she loved the Icha Icha books as much as he did. Then Naruto exclaimed “Her!? You’ve got to be kidding me! She as obsessed with the Icha Icha books as Kakashi-Sensei is! And is just as big a perv too.” At this Kakashi hit Naruto upside the head. “What the heck was that for!?” Naruto yelled. Kakashi said “Be more polite!” Then Katana came over and said “hello Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura.” Then she turned to Kakashi. “Hello Kakashi” The three Genin looked at Kakashi and saw that he was blushing a lot. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura smirk at each other. They had a strong feeling that Kakashi liked her, but still had no idea of their relationship. “This is your new Sensei. Katana Sokino. I know that you already know her Kakashi, at least I hope you do, she is on your Jonin team after all. And from what I can see you 3 *he nodded towards Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura* have met her before am I correct?” Iruka asked. “Yes” Naruto said in an annoyed voice. Sasuke and Sakura nodded. “Well I have to get back to my duties” said Iruka. Then Kakashi said “Ok you three, meet at the training grounds in three hours”. They nodded and went off. Then Kakashi and Katana walked towards the park. Kakashi said “well this is a surprise. I wasn’t expecting you to be the new Sensei. I was expecting some new person who just got accepted as a Sensei and I thought that I was going to have to train them too. But I’m glad it’s you and I’m glad you didn’t get stuck with Gai or someone like that” then Katana sat down on a park bench and Kakashi sat next to her but not so close as to suggest anything. “I’m glad too” Katana said. They sat there until they remembered that they were supposed to meet Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura for training. So they headed to the training grounds....late. Naruto shouted “there you are! Late again! And you! *points to Katana* you’ll probably be just as late as Kakashi-Sensei is all the time!” Then Katana calmly said “now what makes you say that?” then Naruto retorted “you two are just alike!! You always have your faces in those dumb books! Your eyes and hair are the same color! Heck you even dress similar!!” Then Sakura smacked Naruto upside the head and shouted at him “now is that anyway to treat our new Sensei!?” then Katana said “thank you Sakura. *Sakura beamed* now Kakashi-Sensei and I have an activity planned for you. Each of you must try to take 5 things from each of us. Who ever has the most points at the end gets to skip training tomorrow.” This caught their attention and they paid attention eagerly. Kakashi finished explaining “now here is the point system, it really quite simple. You get 10 points for an object that we have on us at the time. For example, kunai, shiruken and stuff like that, 5 points for each object from our houses and 15 points if you can get our Icha Icha Paradise books. Understand?” They nodded. “oh and who ever wins not only gets to miss training but also gets to see what’s under my mask. And if you tie you all have to show up for training tomorrow, then MAYBE just maybe I’ll finally show you what’s under my mask after training....” Kakashi added. This made the three of them very excited. “You have until training tomorrow” Katana said. “And Go!” Kakashi said. Then the two senseis disappeared in puffs of smoke. Then Sasuke said “You know we all want to see Kakashi-sensei’s face. We should just work together and try to get the same items so that way we all tie, but so what if we still have training. We still might get to see his face” Then Sakura, being her giddy self every time Sasuke had an idea said “what a great idea Sasuke!” So, the three of them tailed their two senseis all day. At the end of the day they met back up and Naruto said “so what’d you guys get?” Sasuke said “two kunai from Kakashi-Sensei, a shiruken from Katana-Sensei and an old photo of Kakashi- Sensei when he was young and one of Katana-Sensei’s books on jutsus. So that gives me 40. How about you guys?” Sakura said “three shiruken from Kakashi-Sensei, one of Katana-Sensei’s pictures of when she was young and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s books on chakra. So that gives me 40 points too. How about you Naruto?” Naruto said “Both Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei’s copy of Icha Icha Paradise, one of Katana-Sensei’s shirts and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s masks” then Sasuke in amazement said “how the heck did you get these!? *pointing to the Icha Icha books* Naruto replied proudly, “well it was really hard to get them, but all i did was follow them and waited till the opportune moment.” “Which was?” Sakura asked. “When they were busy reading Icha Icha Violence. They were sitting on the park bench reading them and talking about them and so i took their copies of Icha Icha Paradise while they were preoccupied.” Then Sasuke patted Naruto on the back and said “wow i didn’t think you had it in you. I tried to get their copies and they caught me. Maybe you’re not such a bad ninja after all. I mean you did get their most prized possessions and not to mention after they already caught me trying to take them, which probably put them on their toes. You know Naruto, you’re pretty ok.” Naruto grinned and said “thanks. You’re not so bad yourself” Then Sakura smiled and in a slightly sarcastic tone said “awww. Does this mean you two are friends now?” Then Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other and nodded and Sasuke said “Let’s get her!” Then they ran towards her. As she was running from them, shouted “Hey! What’s the big idea!!?” Then they tackled her to the ground and all three of them laughed as they continued to play fight (meaning not actual fighting....just joking around and stuff) The next day they arrived at the training grounds with the stuff they had gotten from Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei. They sat there and then their eyes went wide and their jaws dropped as they saw Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei arrive ON TIME! Then Naruto said “Everybody run!!!!! It’s a sign of the apocalypse!! Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei are actually on time!!!!” then Kakashi laughed and said “yes, we’re actually here when we said we’d be here. Now lets see what each of you got. Sasuke you first.” Then Sasuke said “wait shouldn’t you already know? I mean it is your stuff” then Kakashi replied “yes that’s true but we still need to tally it up. Now what’d you get?” then Sasuke showed everyone and said “two kunai from Kakashi-Sensei, a shiruken from Katana-Sensei and an old photo of Kakashi- Sensei when he was young and one of Katana-Sensei’s books on jutsus.” Then Kakashi said “good. Now that gives you 40 points. What’d you get?” Naruto beamed and took out each item as he said them “ well first i got one of Katana-Sensei’s shirts * he showed them a shirt* and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s masks *he held up what in fact was one of his masks* and finally...these,*he showed them two copies of Icha Icha Paradise* Both Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei’s copy of Icha Icha Paradise!” Then Katana’s eyes and Kakashi’s visible one widened in shock. Kakashi trembled and stuttered “How-How did you-how did you get those!? Those were our most guarded objects because we knew that you guys were bound to try to take them. And we doubled the protection after Sasuke failed to get them” Naruto proudly replied “It was sort of hard at first, but then when i saw you two take out your copies of Icha Icha Violence i knew that it would be a piece of cake because knowing you two, you’d become so focused on that book that you’d let your guard down on the other books. So while you two were reading i took the two books from your pouches” then Kakashi smiled under his mask and said “Well done Naruto!! you have managed to do what no one has been able to do. You successfully managed to get our copies of Icha Icha Paradise from us! Not even Tsunade could do it when she tried to pull an April fools joke on us! And she’s one of the legendary Sanin! Anyhow that puts you all even with 40 points each! *he took all the items from them* So you know what that means! Time for training!” then Sakura said “But Kakashi-Sensei! We all tied! And you said if we all tied you’d show us what’s under your mask!” then Kakashi said “I said ‘I MIGHT show you after training’ so get to training and if you work hard then we’ll see”

Just then Iruka came over. Naruto waved happily and said “Hi Iruka-Sensei!” “Oh hello Naruto, i wasn’t expecting you to be here” Iruka said. Then Kakashi chuckled and said “are you kidding me? This place is like his second home. That’s all he talks about during training. Ramen, ramen and more ramen” Kakashi, Jiraiya and Iruka laughed while Naruto gave his sensei a glare. Then Iruka said “Kakashi, I need to discuss something with you” then Kakashi calmly replied “ok” and the two senseis walked a short distance away to where they wouldn’t be overheard. “How would you feel about having another Sensei to help you with your team?” Iruka asked. Kakashi thought about it a minute and replied “yeah i could use an extra hand especially with Naruto around” Iruka chuckled and said “well he is a handful. Ok bring your team to the Mission reception area tomorrow to meet them” Kakashi nodded and they walked back over. Then Iruka said “hey Naruto, how about some Ramen? My treat” Naruto excitedly said “ok! Thanks Iruka-Sensei!” And Iruka ordered 4 bowls of ramen, one for himself, one for Naruto, one for Kakashi and one for Jiraiya. Then Kakashi said “thanks Iruka, this was nice of you” and Jiraiya agreed and said “yeah” Naruto began slurping away happily, then Iruka and Jiraiya began to eat theirs. Naruto looked over at Kakashi and then it hit him! Kakashi was about to take off his mask in front of all of them! Naruto watched Kakashi excitedly but then disappointedly went back to his ramen as he saw Kakashi lower his mask, but put up Icha Icha Paradise simultaneously to hide his face. Then Naruto asked “hey Kakashi-Sensei”, Kakashi finished his ramen and pulled up his mask as he put his book down “yeah?” he replied. “Why do you always wear that mask? And when you do take it off why do you hide behind your book? What’s behind it anyways?” Naruto asked curiously. Then Kakashi calmly said “you know...I’m not really sure why I wear it. It’s just a habit. As for what’s behind it. Well you’ll find out soon enough” Naruto sighed and then said “I’ll see you tomorrow Kakashi-Sensei. Bye Pervy Sage. Bye Iruka-Sensei and thanks for the ramen!” Naruto walked home seeing as he had nothing else to do. Then Iruka left and Jiraiya said “well Kakashi, I have to go talk to Tsunade about something, Important Sannin stuff.” And he walked away heading towards the Hokage’s house leaving Kakashi alone. Kakashi decided to go just walk around the village and read his book. As Kakashi wandered around he ran into a few people he knew and stopped to talk to them. First he ran into Shizune. He asked her how she was and what was new. Then she told him she couldn’t talk long because she was doing something for Tsunade. And then he ran into Gai, who naturally challenged him to yet another competition. Gai said “Well, well, well, if it isn’t Kakashi!” Kakashi looked over the top of Icha Icha Paradise and said “what do you want now Gai? Can’t you see I’m trying to read my book?” Then Gai said “It’s my turn to pick the challenge Kakashi!” then Kakashi sighed and said “very well then, what’ll it be this time?” as he put his book away. Gai said “a race around the village! First one back here wins! And if I lose I will so 3000 push ups!!” Kakashi sighed and said in his calm voice “ok whatever” then they got ready to race and Gai shouted to Lee “Lee count us down!” then Lee replied “Yes Gai-Sensei...ready! Three, two one! GO!” and they raced. Kakashi wasn’t worried one bit because he knew he was faster than Gai. Kakashi was the first one back, with Gai close behind. Lee looked a little disappointed and then Kakashi said “that puts me ahead. 51 wins and 50 losses” Gai said “I will beat you the next time Kakashi!” Kakashi just shrugged and walked away reading Icha Icha paradise. He realized that it was late so he headed home and got some sleep. The next morning Kakashi headed to where he usually met up with Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura and found them there waiting impatiently because he was late...again as usual. Kakashi said “ok you three! I have some news for you” then Sakura excitedly said “ooh what? Is it good?” then Kakashi said “you’re getting another sensei.” Then Naruto and Sakura looked baffled and said “WHAT!?” Sasuke just stared in confusion. Then Naruto said “But Kakashi-Sensei what about you!?” Then Kakashi chuckled “you misunderstood me. I’m still going to be your sensei. We’re just getting another sensei to help out. So now you’ll have two senseis.” Then Naruto and Sakura sighed with relief and Sasuke said “whatever.” Kakashi said “ok now we have to go see Iruka so he can introduce us. And i have no idea who our new sensei is. Iruka didn’t even tell me if it was a guy or a girl” So with that they headed to meet Iruka. There stood Iruka in his usual spot. Kakashi said “Hello Iruka. So where is this new Sensei?” Iruka shouted to someone in another room, “come over here please!” and then Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura all looked as they saw none other than Katana walking towards them. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura jokingly always called her “The Female Kakashi” because she dressed almost exactly like him, except for the mask and the skewed headband, and her hair, but she could easily just put gel in it and it would match Kakashi’s exactly, not to mention she loved the Icha Icha books as much as he did. Then Naruto exclaimed “Her!? You’ve got to be kidding me! She as obsessed with the Icha Icha books as Kakashi-Sensei is! And is just as big a perv too.” At this Kakashi hit Naruto upside the head. “What the heck was that for!?” Naruto yelled. Kakashi said “Be more polite!” Then Katana came over and said “hello Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura.” Then she turned to Kakashi. “Hello Kakashi” The three Genin looked at Kakashi and saw that he was blushing a lot. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura smirk at each other. They had a strong feeling that Kakashi liked her, but still had no idea of their relationship. “This is your new Sensei. Katana Sokino. I know that you already know her Kakashi, at least I hope you do, she is on your Jonin team after all. And from what I can see you 3 *he nodded towards Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura* have met her before am I correct?” Iruka asked. “Yes” Naruto said in an annoyed voice. Sasuke and Sakura nodded. “Well I have to get back to my duties” said Iruka. Then Kakashi said “Ok you three, meet at the training grounds in three hours”. They nodded and went off. Then Kakashi and Katana walked towards the park. Kakashi said “well this is a surprise. I wasn’t expecting you to be the new Sensei. I was expecting some new person who just got accepted as a Sensei and I thought that I was going to have to train them too. But I’m glad it’s you and I’m glad you didn’t get stuck with Gai or someone like that” then Katana sat down on a park bench and Kakashi sat next to her but not so close as to suggest anything. “I’m glad too” Katana said. They sat there until they remembered that they were supposed to meet Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura for training. So they headed to the training grounds....late. Naruto shouted “there you are! Late again! And you! *points to Katana* you’ll probably be just as late as Kakashi-Sensei is all the time!” Then Katana calmly said “now what makes you say that?” then Naruto retorted “you two are just alike!! You always have your faces in those dumb books! Your eyes and hair are the same color! Heck you even dress similar!!” Then Sakura smacked Naruto upside the head and shouted at him “now is that anyway to treat our new Sensei!?” then Katana said “thank you Sakura. *Sakura beamed* now Kakashi-Sensei and I have an activity planned for you. Each of you must try to take 5 things from each of us. Who ever has the most points at the end gets to skip training tomorrow.” This caught their attention and they paid attention eagerly. Kakashi finished explaining “now here is the point system, it really quite simple. You get 10 points for an object that we have on us at the time. For example, kunai, shiruken and stuff like that, 5 points for each object from our houses and 15 points if you can get our Icha Icha Paradise books. Understand?” They nodded. “oh and who ever wins not only gets to miss training but also gets to see what’s under my mask. And if you tie you all have to show up for training tomorrow, then MAYBE just maybe I’ll finally show you what’s under my mask after training....” Kakashi added. This made the three of them very excited. “You have until training tomorrow” Katana said. “And Go!” Kakashi said. Then the two senseis disappeared in puffs of smoke. Then Sasuke said “You know we all want to see Kakashi-sensei’s face. We should just work together and try to get the same items so that way we all tie, but so what if we still have training. We still might get to see his face” Then Sakura, being her giddy self every time Sasuke had an idea said “what a great idea Sasuke!” So, the three of them tailed their two senseis all day. At the end of the day they met back up and Naruto said “so what’d you guys get?” Sasuke said “two kunai from Kakashi-Sensei, a shiruken from Katana-Sensei and an old photo of Kakashi- Sensei when he was young and one of Katana-Sensei’s books on jutsus. So that gives me 40. How about you guys?” Sakura said “three shiruken from Kakashi-Sensei, one of Katana-Sensei’s pictures of when she was young and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s books on chakra. So that gives me 40 points too. How about you Naruto?” Naruto said “Both Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei’s copy of Icha Icha Paradise, one of Katana-Sensei’s shirts and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s masks” then Sasuke in amazement said “how the heck did you get these!? *pointing to the Icha Icha books* Naruto replied proudly, “well it was really hard to get them, but all i did was follow them and waited till the opportune moment.” “Which was?” Sakura asked. “When they were busy reading Icha Icha Violence. They were sitting on the park bench reading them and talking about them and so i took their copies of Icha Icha Paradise while they were preoccupied.” Then Sasuke patted Naruto on the back and said “wow i didn’t think you had it in you. I tried to get their copies and they caught me. Maybe you’re not such a bad ninja after all. I mean you did get their most prized possessions and not to mention after they already caught me trying to take them, which probably put them on their toes. You know Naruto, you’re pretty ok.” Naruto grinned and said “thanks. You’re not so bad yourself” Then Sakura smiled and in a slightly sarcastic tone said “awww. Does this mean you two are friends now?” Then Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other and nodded and Sasuke said “Let’s get her!” Then they ran towards her. As she was running from them, shouted “Hey! What’s the big idea!!?” Then they tackled her to the ground and all three of them laughed as they continued to play fight (meaning not actual fighting....just joking around and stuff) The next day they arrived at the training grounds with the stuff they had gotten from Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei. They sat there and then their eyes went wide and their jaws dropped as they saw Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei arrive ON TIME! Then Naruto said “Everybody run!!!!! It’s a sign of the apocalypse!! Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei are actually on time!!!!” then Kakashi laughed and said “yes, we’re actually here when we said we’d be here. Now lets see what each of you got. Sasuke you first.” Then Sasuke said “wait shouldn’t you already know? I mean it is your stuff” then Kakashi replied “yes that’s true but we still need to tally it up. Now what’d you get?” then Sasuke showed everyone and said “two kunai from Kakashi-Sensei, a shiruken from Katana-Sensei and an old photo of Kakashi- Sensei when he was young and one of Katana-Sensei’s books on jutsus.” Then Kakashi said “good. Now that gives you 40 points. Sakura, you next...” Sakura took out the items she had retrieved and said “ i got three shiruken from Kakashi-Sensei, one of Katana-Sensei’s pictures of when she was young and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s books on chakra.” Katana said “ that gives you 40 points too Sakura.” Then Kakashi input “ok Naruto, it’s down to you. What’d you get?” Naruto beamed and took out each item as he said them “ well first i got one of Katana-Sensei’s shirts * he showed them a shirt* and one of Kakashi-Sensei’s masks *he held up what in fact was one of his masks* and finally...these,*he showed them two copies of Icha Icha Paradise* Both Kakashi-Sensei and Katana-Sensei’s copy of Icha Icha Paradise!” Then Katana’s eyes and Kakashi’s visible one widened in shock. Kakashi trembled and stuttered “How-How did you-how did you get those!? Those were our most guarded objects because we knew that you guys were bound to try to take them. And we doubled the protection after Sasuke failed to get them” Naruto proudly replied “It was sort of hard at first, but then when i saw you two take out your copies of Icha Icha Violence i knew that it would be a piece of cake because knowing you two, you’d become so focused on that book that you’d let your guard down on the other books. So while you two were reading i took the two books from your pouches” then Kakashi smiled under his mask and said “Well done Naruto!! you have managed to do what no one has been able to do. You successfully managed to get our copies of Icha Icha Paradise from us! Not even Tsunade could do it when she tried to pull an April fools joke on us! And she’s one of the legendary Sanin! Anyhow that puts you all even with 40 points each! *he took all the items from them* So you know what that means! Time for training!” then Sakura said “But Kakashi-Sensei! We all tied! And you said if we all tied you’d show us what’s under your mask!” then Kakashi said “I said ‘I MIGHT show you after training’ so get to training and if you work hard then we’ll see”
