[Snake Spirit]

Here are nine haiku poems that I recently wrote. All of them are about situations that have happened in some of my Naruto dreams.

Orochimaru
Was standing in front of me
And I growled at him

Ibiki said one
Thing that a ninja must do
While he locked a gate

Kidomaru and
Jirobo walked out of there
While I followed them

Sakon walked up to
Me and I told him about
A dream that I had

Kakashi told me
How to fill out a form and
Then gave it to me

Shikamaru said,
“Look at what’s on this,” and then
He showed me a scroll

Jiraiya told me,
“You can watch a DVD
That you haven’t seen.”

I just saw Kiba
Riding on Akamaru’s
Back at a slow speed

Sasuke looked at me
With a somewhat serious
Look on his fine face

Here's a poem that I wrote a long time ago.

Close, But No Loss

All alone inside
A different place
The majority of
What I see
Is darkness

Your bony fingers
Beckon to me
As if you
Want to take
My own soul

I don’t know
Which path
I am going
To end up in

On the verge of being lost
I try my best to get
Out of your way
I end up succeeding
By going to
The right path

No longer will
I be near
Your dark place

You won’t get me
This time

In the back of my mind
I know that we will
Soon meet each other

However, I will always be
Away from you for now

Meaningful, but I like poetry better when it rhymes and reads really smooth.

SHiN0: I'm glad that you like that part. The odd thing is that the DVD that Jiraiya said that I can watch and haven't seen was a DVD that I saw and watched in real life.

Why do you
Seem to be
Exploding in anger
And ridiculing me
When all that I did
Was tell you about myself

Was it something
That I said
Did I tell you
About myself
In an unclear way
Or did you misinterpret
Some of my words

How could you interpret
My statement that way
Even though I did not
Say that at all

Why must you
Condemn me for
Something that I have
When it’s no different
Than what you have

How about I condemn you
For what you have
Even though it’s no different
Than what I have
And see how you like it

Why don’t you just
Put yourself in my shoes

Sorry for the double post, but I thought that I'd add three new poems that I've recently written.

Wolf

Take a portion of your meal
Perhaps a small part of veal
This will only satisfy us
Without any signs of lust
We’ll alter it like we usually do
To show off something that’s new
Which others haven’t seen before
So that we can have fun and not be bored

Now you snarl and growl
Demanding that you want it back
After we took it from your sack
Which you consider to be foul
Crying and giving us a shove
Just to get lots of green leaves
That you think grow on trees
Which you already have enough of

We’re showing off your meal portion
And not making anything from it
Why must you think otherwise
Like your mind is full of distortion
Do you not understand what is fair
Or do you take the rules too far
Stop taking every opportunity like this
To get green leaves and your meal’s parts

How can we be
Endangering
Your livelihood
We’re not making
Any kind of living
From what is good

People wouldn’t be looking at
More of the things that you have
If it wasn’t for us and what we did
So, you shouldn’t go out and attack
Us for doing what you think is whack
Don’t overreact like an unhappy kid

You power abuser
Just leave us alone
Why don’t you shut up
And go back home

Stop bending and manipulating the rules
To the way you think they should be
They make you seem like a greedy fool
And they’re nothing like what we see

Misleading

Interpretations shoved
Down everyone’s throats
The words of wisdom
Are surely not afloat

Odd ideas taken as facts
I just can’t accept that
It sounds so off track
Like they don’t know jack

Sometimes the research
Is not even good enough
To justify the “facts”
That called our bluff

How could they trick us into
Believing things that aren’t true
People fail to recognize
They’re nothing but lies

I won’t be a part of
A dumb thing such as this
It’s an example of the saying
That ignorance is bliss

I won’t be pulled into
This place of accepted lies
Where people talk as if
Their brains are fried

I will put my trust in myself
And follow my own way
Regardless of what others
Might tell me or say

Hard Work Isn't Popular, but Simplicity Is

Eyes have turned toward
People that just stare back
Like each of their heads
Are covered by a sack

They get lots of views
But all that they do
Is look at you
With nothing new

Who on earth
Reversed the tastes
So that most of us
Like the simple ways
While all of the hard effort
Is put into wasted time
Making things that people
Don’t seem to like
Are these people blind
They don’t really see
This isn’t the way
That it should be

How can they be so famous
When they don’t really do much
Considering that fact
Their status shouldn’t be such

Where did the fame go
For all of the hard workers
At this time, they appear
To be nothing but lurkers

The ones that lust for fame
Aren’t getting what they deserve
Shadowed by all of the people
Who see this as some kind of game
