Sasuke don't have so good control over CS2, but unlike him Kimimaru has.Kimimaru is faster then him and also a great taijutsu user.And Sasuke can't do nothing to hurt him since Kimimaru's bloodline limit is just amazing.And remember how sound 4 beat the shit out of Sasuke.If i better remember it was Sakon who totally woop the floor with Sasuke.And then remember what Kimimaru did to Sound 4 alone VS all 4 of them at same time.He didn't even went CS2 and there were no freaking scratch on him.Kimimaru is just too strong for Sasuke at that time , and if you read manga that you would know that Kimimaru is the only person who could hold Yuugo without getting injured.And for your information Yuugo is person from which Curse Seal was developed his body was borned with curse seal and he has completely mastery over it.

Not in the manga.Yamato couldnt even keep up with hids movements.Im giving this on to Sasuke.He would be able to dodge most of Kimi's moves because he will know them almost before Kimi does with sharingan.Taking in his power level on cs2 and how he defeated Dei Dei so easily.On top of that he has the sword,chidori,the fire style jutsu,and speed.Kimi may have high speed strong cs2 and the bone manipulation.Sasuke can also use sharingan to trap Kimi in a genjutsu.Sasuke also has his mysterious move he was going to use on Deidara if his original theory wasnt correct and(I think it was the same move)the one he was gonna use on Team 7 when they infiltrated Oro's base and Sai woke him up.I say Sasuke would overpower Kimimaru.

If we try to compare their ability using their fight against Gaara. Then I think Sasuke has more talent than Kimimaro. He is one of Kishi favorite character. And even though Gaara show more incredible move when he is fighting Kimimaro, Sasuke did get the upper hand in the fight without CS2. If Kimimaro wasn't sick he would have kill Gaara. If Gaara didn't trun all Sukaku in the chuunin exam, Sasuke would have beat him with chidori.

Sasuke has speed and sharingan. Kimimaro has agility and hardbones. But since sharingan can give Sasuke much more trick (katon, copy, predict) I think Sasuke defeat to Sakon was for the sake of the plot. And Sasuke has more talent.
