let me see plant manipulation come under that catorgery aka being able to make plants appear out of no-where and control them to their full extent this means he can make them come from anywhere to catch the opponent of guard then strike them while they are off guard.
and plus u can poison, slash, stab, crush, break bones etc with plants causing serious damage to any body

Where did you get number 3 from? Deidara is highly limited. He only creates explosives.
While Zetsu hasn't shown his true power, he can merge with trees. Thus he has element of surprise constantly. Deidara.. you'd hear him from miles off!!
Still,Zetsu vs Deidara? It'd be pretty close.

Most powerful is Pein or Orochimaru.

But Deidara is still awesome
