Ipod touch heats up easily, LCD screen problems, bad reports from touch screen, non-replaceable batteries, unlike ipod classic it doesn't have hardrive, internet costs big money. Therefore go for zune

i think that the iTouch is awesome!!
i kno like 5 people who hav it and its definitely worth the price!! $300 is pretti good for the iTouch, and if u go 2 any store, u can get one for $200 if its one that someone brought bac, cuz they didnt like it or whatevr...but still, i think they're great, and if u get the the rite cover for it, it wont break and u can still use it...yea, its pretti awesome :D

Ehh, I think the touch is alright, but if you really want it get it, if not, don't. I personally wouldn't get it because you could have that AND a ohone ifyou get the iphone, but yeah. I heard positves and negatives from it.

Apple has been very innovative over the years, don't think anyone can debate that fact, but they have made a few strange and odd business decisions...
If you want to buy ipod for storage capacity then get Ipod classic(5 gen) 80gb. I don't really see much thinking in the Ipod, I think that the 5th gen Ipods have better design than any other Ipod's. Ipod touch may be appealing for people who previously bought Ipods, but there are so many flaws.

I'll list them here:

1. capacity limited to 16 GB max.
2. lacks hardware features offered by iPhone: camera, Bluetooth, volume control, speaker.
3. lacks iPhone applications: Mail, Notes, Maps, SMS, Widgets (Weather, Stocks, etc.)
4. mediocre earphones (and some amplifier noise)
5. closed platform with limited features and customization
6. minimal capability as personal organizer (PDA)
7. small format limits usability as Web client and productivity device
8. the touch screen can really heat up easily
9. the function of the zune is much better
10. Internet fee costs way too much
11. Keys are way too small for people who have big fingers

I've had Ipod touch for 2 weeks and I was disappointed of the performance, so I returned it and got the refund.

okay...the flaws u pointed out sucked!
u say that it doesnt hav stuff that the iPhone has, but ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO!! its an mp3 player, not a phone!! let the iPhone hav all that stuff and just let the iTouch be.
like i said, its an mp3 player, nobody's gonna use the internet on it anyway!!
and i think the keys r fine, one of my guy friends with like, the biggest hands in the world has an iTouch and doesnt complain.
i mean seriously, ur expecting way too much out of it!! all ur realli supposed 2 do with it is listen 2 the music!! and if u dont like the headphones...BUY NEW ONES

The screen can get scratched, sticky and very easily damaged, it's like a plasma TV you run around with.
And I have the same phone Sam has I think, the sliding T-Mobile Phone?
It has Phone Service, MP3 Player, Camera, Video Recording, Voice Recording, Voice Recognition, 5 Free People to Call, Internet, ESPN and CNN News, Downloads, Games, Weather, everything the Iphone has but for 80 dollars, and then 6 dollars for the Internet. So for 86 dollars you can get the same features as the Iphone but with a better warranty.

Well I think it'll be alright if this dude wants the iTouch, because it's fine, i have heard a lot of poitives from it, but the only people i heard that say it sucks is people who don't have it. In my opinon, the Black berry surpasses all phones.:)

The iTouch isn't a phone. It's not even the name of the product, it's called the iPod Touch.

The screen can get scratched, sticky and very easily damaged, it's like a plasma TV you run around with.

The screen is made of glass which makes it very durable and scratch resistant.


The bottom line is, if you don't have a lot of content (under 16 GB worth) and want an iPod, this is the one to get. It's fun to use, can run third-party apps (with a little hacking, or patience for the SDK from Apple in Feb), and can surf the web.
