Chi Chapter 59: Walking Contradiction

Shows Inu, standing on the earth spike that’s extending from the plateau through Makoto’s shoulder.
Makoto struggles.
Inu walks forward: Don’t bother. It ends here.
Makoto closes his eyes thought: This is gonna hurt like hell!
Inu: What’s that?
Shows Inu, standing on the earth spike that’s through Makoto’s shoulder.
The tree behind Makoto falls to the left(the part above the earth spike)
Inu: What?
Makoto reaches back.
The earth spike behind him disappears.
Makoto moves back: Ah….
Makoto falls on his back, his shoulder free from the earth spike: Ahh…..
Inu walks forward: Nonetheless….
Makoto melts into the ground: Up there….
Makoto comes out of the ground on the plateau.
Makoto looks down.
Makoto picks up the tape that was on his arm.
Inu appears on the plateau.
Shows Makoto, his arms glowing green, and his shoulder wrapped in tape: Time for round 2.
Inu: Heh…
Makoto slashes his arms twice.
Two earth spikes shoot up at Inu.
An earth wall shoots up and blocks the two earth spikes.
Inu disappears.
Makoto jumps back, dodging an earth spike.
Makoto turns his head: !
Makoto is punched in the face.
Makoto hits an earth wall.
Makoto grabs his shoulder in pain.
Inu runs at Makoto.
An earth wall shoots up.
Inu kicks through it.
Makoto limps up.
Another earth wall shoots up.
Inu punches through it.
Makoto throws a knife at Inu.
Inu takes out a knife.
Inu blocks the knife with the knife in his hand.
Inu punches at Makoto.
Makoto blocks the punch.
Makoto knees Inu in the stomach.
Makoto punches at Inu.
Inu catches Makoto’s punch.
Makoto: !
Inu throws Makoto behind him.
An earth spike shoots up at Makoto, who is in the air.
Makoto: !!!
Makoto puts his left hand out.
The spike goes through his left hand.
Makoto spins in the air, a bit blood flying around.
Makoto skids against the ground on his knees.
Makoto flinches.
Makoto: !
Inu runs forward.
Shows Makoto falling off the plateau.
Inu runs to the edge of the plateau where Makoto fell off.
An earth wall bursts out of the wall below Makoto.
Makoto lands on the earth wall.
Makoto jumps up.
Shows Makoto in the air, upside down, his right foot pointing upwards.
Inu: !
Makoto kicks Inu in the back of the head with his foot, slamming Inu’s face into the ground of the plateau.
Makoto jumps forward.
Makoto flinches: Ah.
Shows Makoto’s left hand, bleeding a lot.
Makoto goes into his pocket.
Makoto takes out some medical tape.
Makoto wraps his hand with the tape.
Inu gets up.
Inu: My, my….you truly are his son…
Makoto turns around: What?
Inu: Aston Kissimmee.
Makoto: How do you know my father?
Inu: My father fought with your father…they were comrades…
Makoto: Then you are…
(Flashback)
Shows Aston draped over another man’s shoulder.(The man has very short blond hair)
Makoto runs out: Dad!(Makoto is about 5 or 6)
The Man: Makoto! Go get Mii!
Makoto: Mr. What happened?
The Man: Never mind that! Go get your mother now!
Makoto: Okay!
Makoto runs into the house.
He and his mother run out.
His mother kneels down beside Aston: Oh dear…
Mii picks up Aston: Thank you for bringing him back.
The Man: That’s what friends are for.
Mii nods.
Mii runs off into the house.
Makoto: Mr. What happened?
The Man: Your father and I were fighting and---
Mii yells from the house: Makoto!!!
Makoto looks back: Aww…..
The man smiles: I’ll tell you another time…I have to get back anyway…
Makoto: Okay.
Makoto runs back into the house: Yeaaaaah!?
The man smiles.
The man walks away.
(Un-Flashback)
Inu: That’s correct. I’m his son.
Makoto: Why did you become a Chi Lord then?
Inu: Enough talking…
Makoto: Very well…
Makoto’s arms glow green.
Inu’s body glows green.
Makoto and Inu disappear.
The ground shakes.
Earth spikes shoot up all around the top of the plateau.
Blood hits the ground.
Makoto skids against the ground on his back.
Inu skids against the ground on his back.
Makoto stands up, his cheek, arm, chest, and forehead cut and bleeding.
Inu stands up, his arm cut in various places, his other arm cut once, his cheek cut, and blood dripping from his chin.
Makoto runs at Inu.
Inu runs at Makoto.
Makoto kicks Inu in the stomach.
Makoto dives at Inu.
Makoto and Inu are thrown off the plateau.
Inu and Makoto flip, switching places, Makoto on the bottom, Inu on top.
Makoto looks to the right, downward.
Makoto: !!!
Earth spikes burst out of the ground everywhere, covering every inch of the ground.
Shows Inu and Makoto falling.
