Light or dark color schemes?

Which do you prefer when making signatures or any other graphic? Light or dark color schemes?

It depends.
On the character Im using on those color schemes.
For example, Sasuke is a dark type of person, cold, and quite, so I use Dark. And for Naruto, he's a happy, bright type of person, so I use Light color schemes.:)

hrm... well, I actually prefer light color schemes... but. Like Cho said, it kinda depends on the character too. :)

That really depends on the style, the character of the image being used, and the lighting already on the image. I do both.

I like using medium to dark colors .tho i use light colors i have no problem with that .

The colour scheme I use really just depends on the render I'm using.

Kinda depends on render. For example, if the render has a dark theme, I'd like the darker schemes with it. If the render is bright theme, then light scheme would be good.:^^:

It depends greatly on the render. Like if it's Hollow Ichigo, I'd tend to use a darker color scheme, since using lighter colors wouldn't suit him. And for people like Naruto, I'd use lighter colors. I also do it based on the characters' personality. Like if they're a dark type of person, I won't make sunny-type backgrounds with them, and vice versa.

As for which I prefer doing, I prefer doing darker color schemes. I'm overall better with darker colors. I always have been.

I don't really care about the person in the sig,
I make the color scheme according to my mood. o.o

When I'm done with the overall sig, I toy with the colors until I find one that looks nice.
I usually prefer dark color schemes though.

Light colors kinda make the sig look brighter. Too much light. I can see better on dark.:]
