Chi Chapter 64: Jara…!

Jara: You wanna beat me for good, don’t you Kinche?
Kinche looks at Luna.
Kinche sighs: Sorry…
Jara: ?
Kinche: As much as I wanna fight you…I can’t.
Jara: Oh?
Jara: Shall I kill her then?
Kinche grits his teeth.
Kinche starts to run towards Jara but someone appears in front of Kinche.
Shows Maymi standing in front of Kinche.
Maymi: You know what your mission is Kinche. That shouldn’t be compromised…
Kinche: I guess so…
Maymi: You guys go on ahead….I’ll take care of him.
Kinche: Thanks…
Maymi: Yeah, yeah. He doesn’t look like much.
Jara: You think I’ll let you all get away! I’m taking you all down!
Maymi appears right in front of Jara.
Jara: !
Jara is knocked back far by a punch from Maymi.
Jara, kneeling down, wipes blood from his chin.
Maymi: I am your opponent. When I’m dead you can go on. Until then….
Maymi shoots a ball of energy at Jara: I am your opponent!
Jara jumps back, dodging the ball of energy.
Jara, angry: Fine! I’ll kill you fast then.
Maymi runs at Jara.
Jara shoots a giant fireball at Maymi.
Maymi exhales.
Maymi jumps at the fireball.
Maymi spins furiously, blowing away the fire around her.
Jara: !
Maymi punches Jara in the face.
Maymi lands on the ground.
Maymi punches Jara multiple times in the stomach.
Maymi spin kicks Jara back: Ha!
Maymi shoots a string of fire at Jara.
Jara thought: She never quits!
Jara ducks, dodging the string of fire, and throws three knives at Maymi.
Maymi front flips.
Shows Maymi holding the two knives out to the side, and her head down.
Maymi raises her head, the third knife being held in her mouth by the handle.
Maymi drops the knives.
Jara: Heh…
A ball of Energy forms in Jara’s left hand.
A ball of darkness forms in Jara’s right hand.
Jara moves his hands closer together, the Chi from both the attacks in his hand starting to circulate each other.
Jara shoots a beam of Light and Dark Chi at Maymi.
Maymi holds her hand out, blocking the attack.
Maymi skids back on her feet, far, still blocking the attack.
Maymi starts digging into the ground, still blocking the attack and skidding back.
Maymi swats the attack away, into the air.
Maymi exhales: Phew!
Jara smirks: Heh
Maymi: ?
Jara clenches his fists.
Maymi’s moves forward slightly: !
Jara thrusts back his hand.
Maymi flies towards Jara.
Jara punches at Maymi.
Maymi punches at Jara.
Maymi and Jara punch each others fists.
Jara grits his teeth.
Maymi cuts the strings attached to her shirt with a knife.
Jara: Hmph.
Jara kicks Maymi in the stomach.
Maymi flies back.
Jara jumps out at Maymi.
Jara punches extremely fast at Maymi and Maymi dodges all the punches.
Maymi and Jara punch at each other.
Maymi and Jara fly back in an explosion of Chi.
Jara, on the ground thought: No! She can’t be my equal!
Maymi: Heh. Is that all?
Jara closes his eyes.
Maymi: !!!
Maymi looks around thought: This is bad….
Maymi claps her hands together.
Earth walls shoot up from the ground surrounding the area in which Jara and Maymi are fighting in for about half a mile, and about 200 feet tall.
Jara opens his eyes and a giant wave of water flies at Maymi from behind Jara, the water splitting around him.
Maymi jump in the air, dodging the wave of water.
Maymi slashes her hands up.
Five large pillars shoot up from the ground.
Maymi lands on one of the pillars.
Jara jumps up onto one as well.
Jara jumps forward.
Maymi throws two knives at Jara.
Jara take out a knife.
Jara holds it horizontally, blocking the two knives coming at him.
Jara drops the knife and jumps in the air towards Maymi.
Jara drop kicks at Maymi.
Jara drop kicks the top of the pillar, cracking it and digging his foot in a bit after Maymi jumps forward.
Jara back flips.
Jara lands in front of Maymi.
Jara punches at Maymi twice.
Maymi swats away the punches.
Maymi punches Jara in the face.
Jara flies back.
Jara pushes off the edge of a pillar and flips onto his feet.
Jara cracks his knuckles.
Maymi: Heh. Looks like I’m a match for you.
Jara: Shut up.
Maymi: I’m already as strong as you and I’ve barely used any of my power.
Jara grits his teeth.
Maymi: Heh.
Jara charges at Maymi incredibly fast.
Maymi: !
Jara punches Maymi in the face.
Maymi flies back.
Maymi hits the earth wall behind her.
Maymi coughs up blood.
Maymi falls into the water.
Shows Maymi, with her eyes closed, mouth open and sinking further down into the water.
Jara: Heh…who’s stronger now?
Shows the others walking through the woods.
Masashi holds his arm out in front of Hikoro.
Hikoro: What is it?
Masashi: He’s close by.
Trige: How close?
Masashi: He’s about a mile and a half away.
Hikoro looks at Trige: He’s after this guy.
Masashi: This guy?
Trige: There’s someone out in the field.
Masashi: Well let’s go.
Trige: No.
Masashi: What?
Hikoro: There are only 5 Chi Lords left Masashi…
Masashi: …
Hikoro: Two don’t seem that dangerous. But…
Masashi: But?
Hikoro: The other three Chi Lords….their more powerful than all of us combined.
Masashi looks back.
Kinche looks anxious and excited.
Masashi smirks: All the more reason to fight them.
Hikoro: Are you insane!
Masashi: It’s very likely.
Hikoro: We need to turn back now!
Masashi: We have a mission!
Hikoro: I don’t give a damn about the mission! We were assigned to hunt down these guys and they’re clearly too much for any of us! It’s suicide going in there!
Masashi, looking down, shadows covering part of his face, and looking serious: What happened, Hikoro?
Hikoro: What?
Masashi looks at Hikoro: When’d you become such a coward?
Hikoro grits his teeth.
Masashi gets up in Hikoro’s face: You better quit now.
Masashi: Cause what it boils down to is Life and Death.
Hikoro swallows: *gulp*
Masashi: So make the choice now! Go run and be a coward! Or be a man! Stare death right in the face and laugh!
Trige: Masashi.
Masashi: Yes?
Trige: I can’t sense Makoto anymore.
Masashi looks sad: He’s dead…?
Trige: It would seem so…
Masashi hangs his head: He died…
A hand is placed on Masashi’s shoulder: Well then…
Shows Hikoro with his hand on Masashi’s shoulder: He’ll die in vein if we don’t complete our mission.
Hikoro walks forward: Move out!

Shows Maymi standing in front of Kinche.

Jara shoots a giant fireball at Maymi.
Maymi exhales.
Maymi jumps at the fireball.
Maymi spins furiously, blowing away the fire around her.
Jara: !
Maymi punches Jara in the face.
Maymi lands on the ground.
Maymi punches Jara multiple times in the stomach.
Maymi spin kicks Jara back: Ha!
Maymi shoots a string of fire at Jara.
Jara thought: She never quits!

A ball of Energy forms in Jara’s left hand.

Jara, on the ground thought: No! She can’t be my equal!

Earth walls shoot up from the ground surrounding the area in which Jara and Maymi are fighting in for about half a mile, and about 200 feet tall.
Jara opens his eyes and a giant wave of water flies at Maymi from behind Jara, the water splitting around him.

Maymi slashes her hands up.
Five large pillars shoot up from the ground.
Maymi lands on one of the pillars.
Jara jumps up onto one as well.
Jara jumps forward.
Maymi throws two knives at Jara.
Jara take out a knife.
