I'm starting off by saying this:

If anyone flames, gets mad, or gets personal, I'll have this thread closed.

Back in the golden days, I LIVED for the dome. But now, it's turned into stubborn people not admiting that they're wrong. I basically left this site because it got boring without Xinobi around. The only other good debater was Matt, and maybe a few select others. But now, it's sort of lame with random people saying things like "____ will win", with no backup or anything. I want--lemme rephrase that, almost need a good debate with Matt and Xinobi, Summer. and any other serious people.

Anyways, I want to see if any opinions have changed. For this, I'll sit back for maybe a few posts to find everyone's point of view. Then I'll join in.

Well first I will say if anyone sees anyone posting one liners in any debate part of this forum with no substance like "Sasuke will win" they will be warned and if they continue they will be banned from any battledome. That includes flaming, fanboyism and needless spam.

As for my opinion, it has not changed. We know the sharingan can get caught in genjutsu. They can easily reserve it WITH the sharingan against a non-sharingan user but against each other we have not seen it, only MS vs regular sharingan. However we did get a hint of a stale mate with Kakashi vs Itachi the second time.

Now into the meat of this matter. We do NOT know if the Byakugan is affected by any affects of genjutsu. We never seen any Hyuuga in a genjutsu. I would be willing to say it can not happen. When the Byakugan is activated it can see anything not in the blind spot with pin point accuracy. Without it activated they would probably be vulnerable. With it activated it is like they see an x-ray of their opponent and their chakra network. Also the gentle fist is as it is stated, gentle yet deadly. He doesn't have to hit anyone with full force for them to feel the brunt of his onslaught unless he wants to. With the Kaiten, virtually nothing is getting through. Since this is pre-skip, Kakashi even said Neji was too much for Sasuke. Even if it wasn't I would say it would be a damn good match. Sasuke has been altered by the curse-mark. He was not purely trained on his own like his brother or Neji. Itachi and Neji gained their power on their own through training. They have no enhancements save their kekkei genkai.

If Sasuke uses fire jutsu Neji will use Kaiten...
Any other jutsu Neji will see through
Hand to Hand Sasuke does not have a prayer and as you seen Sasuke always tries to get in close. There is no way. Even if Neji grazes you, you get hurt. If you block, you get hurt. It is like fighting a porcupine, it is gonna hurt regardless of what you try to do up close. The only thing Sasuke does far away is fire jutsu and like I said Neji will Kaiten. I would venture to say any ranged attack he can Kaiten out of... And what is what you say? He can't do Kaiten forever? Well they can't do ranged attacks forever either can they? Neji will wait and capitalize as soon as possible. He proved it in the Kidomaru fight.
What was that again? Sasuke has a sword? So freakin what... With the Byakugan activated he has never been bested. READ what I said, I said WITH the Byakugan ACTIVATED. In the fight with Naruto it was *deactivated* because he got overconfident and thought he won but it had to happen to open his eyes about the truth of his clan and his father's death... Blah Blah Blah...

What? Chidori?

Neji will see that chakra going to Sasuke's hands and he should be able to counter with an attack of his own. You see what Itachi did to Sasuke's Chidori the first time he tried it? He caught his wrist and broke it. Neji can catch his wrist and fry it so no chakra goes there again.

Why haven't we had a fight with the Byakugan vs sharingan? Because the sharingan would get severely embarrassed.

Hell I even think Hinata could put up a decent fight against a Sharingan user with her Byakugan activated. I hope she shines during the fight with Tobi. Then you can all bare witness to the greatness of the Byakugan.

So this is Sasuke with curse seal as in Naruto fighting Sasuke?

I think it would be one hell of a fight, tbh i'm not sure who would win, at close range I'm sure Neji would beat the crap out of Sasuke, but i donno if closing chakra points would stop the curse seal, because in that form i don't think even the Kaiten could stop curse seal 2 chidori.

This is the pre-skip sasuke vs the pre-skip neji right. It will be a great fight and a close one. But with sharingan it is probably easier to spot byakugan blind spot. Neji had diffiulties against kidomaru. sasuke just has to copy his fighting style. Throw kunai or exploding kunai from outside the 50m radius. Sasuke also uses a lot of tools it is not a hard task for him to set up a trap that stop neji kaiten. And from outside that 50m radius, boom!!! chidori at neji blind spot. With this distance sasuke is pretty safe from 128 palm.

Sharingan can predict movement neji wouldn't be able to land a blow. Even Hinata was dodging his attack. Neji is not as fast as lee. Sasuke just need to get close enough in hand to hand battle and burn him with all sort of Katon moves and it will be too close for kaiten to counter. Neji would also fall to sasuke shishin rendan.

It's not chidori vs kaiten. We are comparing the user. Sharingan gives more color to one's fighting style and this is always better than restricted one fighting style.

Sasuke is smarter than Neji, if Sasuke uses Fire style Neji can counter with Kaiten.Sasuke can use his Demon Wind Shuriken as a decoy and then attack Neji from his blindspot.With chidori Neji can catch it like Xinobi said and block the chakra points in his hands like when he did it to Hinata.Also while Sasuke is stoped for a minute Neji can hit him in that chest area.(The part of the body he hit Naruto in and made him cough up blood.)You might say that Sasuke can copy the movements but what about the fight with Itachi.Itachi was still able to catch the jab

Neji would already have seen Sasu weak points and would have mainly focused on those.Sasuke would not try Lions Barrage against Neji since it is to close combat style.Sasuke might manage to get Neji in the air and then do his Peregrine Drop but the chances of that is low.The shuriken wires is a good way to get Neji.It can slow him down when he is using Kaiten(Kidoumarus web did the same) then Sasuke would have a chance.However Neji is to smart for that.Other than that,Sasuke has no chance with Taijutsu againt Neji.

Then there is Ninjutsu,Sasuke can use Fire ball or Fire Dragon but Neji can stop it with Kaiten.Same goes for Phoenix Fire. Unless Sasuke knows any other Jutsu,Ninjutsu is also hopeless.

i don't think you can use sharingan to see the hYuuga bLind spot, it is a fieLd of vision ! throwing kunai from outside 50m wouLd aLso prove useLess, because to hit neJi they wouLd have to come within 50m and i'm pretty sure neJi wiLL see them by then !
how do you suppose sasuke can use chidori from 50m away? you don't even have to see it, it's caLLed chidori because it makes a heLL of a Lot of noise !
and even if it was siLent, neJi exerts chakra out of his bLind spot so he can sense disturbances, hence he practicaLLy has 360 degRee vision !

you think sasuke can use ninjutsu in cLose combat? you reaLLy think that neJi is so sLow that he cannot hit sasuke whiLe he performs his hand seaLs? it takes much Less time to perform kaiTen than it does to perform fire techniques !

again i must reiterate the point that neJi does not have to use any other styLe apart from gentLe fist. if it does the job then who cares that he keeps using it ! sasuke can have aLL the fighting styLes he wants, but if they can't get past gentLe fist then it doesn't matter !

Yeah i think neji wins this fight. Even if sasuke were to use his curse seal neji's defense will absolutely destroy sasukes abilities. It will stop his fire, chidori and anything else he could throw at him. Also without having a demon inside of him once he gets hit by the trigrams sasuke wont be able to do anything. Sasuke is just mismatched against neji and there is no way he wins this fight.
