Do you think it is needed?

How far in depth do you think they should go?

Are you patient enough to let it ride out before they cut back to the battle in Karakura town?

I don't think they're needed per se, but they certainly do help fill some holes in the story and shed some light on things we otherwise might not have known. I don't think they should go that in depth with the flashbacks, otherwise there wouldn't be a whole lot of surprises in the current arc. A few details here and there about the former captains and vice captains, thought not revealing anything like a certain captain's prowess in battle would be just fine for me. Even though I do really want to know more about Unohana. Only because we haven't heard or seen much about her. In fact, I think she's the only captain whose zanpakuto release command remains a mystery. And lastly, I'm loving the flashbacks so far, so Kubo should keep this up as long as he deems necessary.

It's not necessary, but I think some people (myself included) have been interested in Vizard's past since they were first introduced.

A nice background surrounding all the Vizards would be nice but I don't think it should go so far into the flashback that it includes Ichigo suppressing his Hollow. (Too much will be revealed.)

I'm willing to let the flash back ride out until it skips back to the main battle. What I don't like is when they interrupt a fighting scene and put in an flashback.

well to me these flash backs are kind or interesting if they are gonna explain more about shinji and the orther vizards when it they were in the squads, and the zero division
but if it takes more than 3 weeks to explain everything then i think i cant wait

I think they are an interesting way to keep the manga going for a while. Everybody really wants to see the big fight but these flashbacks are keeping peoples attention. But actually they really might be needed so that when the vaizard come out and everybody knows each other we're not left in the dark as to how. And maybe the vaizard arnt on good terms with soul society either because of them leaving. So yea they might actually play a big role.

i loved the 1st one

i think its crucial to the story to show what happend 100 years ago that obviously shook up soul society more than when ichigo showed up to save rukia. If Aizins been planning this for 100years we need to know why its not like you can just tell the story like he woke up one day and said F this im going with the hollow.

We need to know why all the captains and below left to become Vaizards. We need to know how Aizen was connected to the Vaizards he was working under Shinji so theres a huge story there waiting to be told that will be epic to the bleach manga.

Agreed. Shinji is now a vaizard and Aizen is makin espada so somewhere in there their stories collide then seperate and become a big part of the story.
