I had been waiting
for such a long time
for someone to come
but it feels like I'm wasting my time
But then I met you
and I knew you must be:
the one I've been waiting for,
the one that's right for me.
But you gave me the cold shoulder
and I can not lie
I felt as if my heart were carrying a boulder
and I was about to die.
But you ignored me relentlessly
and you did not care.
The pain in my heart
I could no longer bear.
So now do I travel,
with a broken heart
and my heart,
to pieces, fall apart.
In time I'll learn to let you go
When my memories have gone
I'll meet you where the poppies grow
in the last of the setting sun.
