Kakashi has already stated Naruto is stronger. Naruto has added Elemental Chakra to his Rasengan, which by itself half-finished is stronger than Chidori.
He also has Gamabunta which the 4th Hokage himself used. He has his Tajuu Clones aswell. Naruto also may use his Clones to hold Kakashi. It would obviously be a close battle. If Kakashi ever used his Mangekyou Sharingan then Naruto sould be with kis Kyuubi to even the battle out?

As Naruto is my favorite character, I REALLY want to say Naruto 100%, but I'm not so sure.

Naruto has gotten a lot stronger, no doubt, and he's also gotten a lot smarter. And I really think that this would be a close fight.

Atm though, I have 2 give the edge to Kakashi. My reasoning behind this would be the fact the Kakashi was Naruto's teacher, so he knows pretty much everything out of Naruto's arsenal. That combined with his Sharingan, and I think that Kakashi would have the edge.

This is just for where we are RIGHT NOW in the manga (ch-375 as I type this). Naruto will surpass Kakashi very soon

The Purpose of the Filler arc was to give Kishimoto time to write the manga because the manga and the anime had become to close together, the fillers were not written by Kishimoto, Kishimoto was writing Shippuden at the time the fillers were going on.

i know what you are reffering to, naruhina_sakusaske but it was also said (by yamato) that naruto have to stop relaying on his kyuubi chakra to become truly strong. and i think naruto will listen to him, cuz he has more chakra of his own than most of shinobi has. And i believe naruto will now stop calling kyuubi for help and will difeat pain or whoever he will fought as his final opponent and become hokage with his ow powert, his pure stamina, bravery and not because of kyuubi chakra...

Even on 4th tail naruto can't think he become more of a beast. Just run (kawarimi) and leave naruto body to rot with the kyuubi chakra.
