Jet's Renderusing Wand Tool Tutorial - GIMP
This is my first tutorial on Transparency.:laugh

First,of course,you need The GIMP software.you may download it on the internet and it's for FREE
www.gimp.org <-- Try this site to download GIMP

Then,you need a picture
I'll be using this pic:

Then,open up the picture in GIMP.
Select File>New.
make sure you select the same dimension for the picture that we will make it transparent.
now,click the Advance Options button, on the Fill with option,select Transparency.
It should look like this:

then,click Ok.

After a new page had pop up,you can now paste the picture.Then press Ctrl+H to anchor the pic.
It should now look like this:

Now, we are ready to make the pic transparent:laugh

First, select the wand tool.

Then, simply click on the white background.After you have click it,press Ctrl+X to cut the background. Continue cut the background until there’s no more left.

Now, you are ready for save it:amuse

Select File>Save As
now,a save image page had pop up.Save your picture as a PNG file.
Example:
naruto1234.PNG

Then,click Save>Ok.

Done.
