Preface
It was a cold night in Konohagakure.It was quiet the time around midnight.The Hokage, Tsunade was up very late and, on Shizune's insitence, filing out paperwork.It seemed to Tsunade as if the whole Village was drifting into a dark slumber.It made her uneasy."I have a bad feeling about this." she muttered under here breathe as she tried to remeber the latest lottery numbers.All of a sudden she clenched her arm around the area were her heart was."Oh no, I won."she muttered in a forced breathe."Dont harm the village." were her last words.But no one was there to here her or so it seemed.The Tsunade fell over on her her and she ,layed there, dead.A single shadow flickered across the room.But them it suddenly, disapered and that was it.The death of the fifth Hokage.
The morning slowy came the sun barley peeking over the hills.Shizune opened her eyes and got up and got dressed.She left the room with a happy skip in her movements."Tsunade-sama agreed to do her papers.Wich is very odd since she never does her papers.But she did them.Yay!"Shizune thought to her self happily as she skipped down to the Kage office to see Tsunade's progress.She knew Tsunade was acting very difeerent lately, as if she was trying to get as much done as possible, but Shizune shoved that thought to the back of her mind."Im sure nothing is wrong" disagreed with that thought that clung eerily in the back of her mind.Shizune pushed open the door to the office forgetting to knock.When she saw Tsunade lying at her desk terror clutched her heart."Shes just sleeping." She thought over and over again to comfort herself."Its ok."She gave into her fear and felt Tsunade's pulse her heart wasnt beating.Shizune let out a high-pitched scream starting the birds perched on the building.Shizune was to sad to notice.She had tears streaming down her face.She couldnt believe her eyes.
Naruto had awoken early.He was on his way to the ramen sshop,After breakfast he had planned on going out for some early moring training.He passed the Hokage Building and heard Shizune's scream.He dashed up the stairs wwondering if something was wrong.He dashed through the door and saw Shizune crying."Shizune-niichan.Whats wrong?"He asked confused he didnt even notice the dead Tsunade on the desk."Ts-Tsun-ade-sama is.. is"Shizune replied barely inaudibly.She couldnt even finish her sentence as she fell on her knees bursting into more tears.As she was speaking Naruto saw Tsunade and his eyes widened.He didnt believe what he was seeing."She is just resting after a long night." he thought as he felt her pulse."No" he muttered under his breathe as he clentched his teeth tear streaming down his face.Then suddenly the sky turned dark and it started to rain."The sky mourns for the Hokage as well.Naruto and Shizune couldnt believe what they saw.Nor would the rest of the village when they had learned what had happened.The Hokage just couldnt be dead.
Now none of this acctually happened in the manga seeing as it is a fanfic.
