....It's not necessary for Death Note to be longer. The whole manga, every last chapter, was made into the anime wonderfully.
Just because a series doesnt have 600 chapters like One Piece or Naruto, doesnt mean it's not good.

1. Junjou romantica. The second season just finished. I need more!! So much more!! Where will I get my weekly shounen ai dose from now? There HAS to be a third season. Though it ended nicely, I thought. The moment with AKihiko and the van made my heart fly into my mouth. I swear.. I swear I thought Misaki was going to push him out of the way and get hit instead.. God, I was so scared.. *goes off into ramble* Anyway, must have season 3!!

2. Fruits basket. I want the rest of the manga to be made into an anime. I mean, the anime goes up to volume 6 or 8, right? There are another 15+volumes that could be animated into amazingness. Plus.. Kakeru has to be animated!! As does Machi!! Their awesomeness cannot be left unknown to any furuba fans that haven't read the manga!! And we never even met Kureno or Rin.

3. Ouran high school. I really want to see an anime version of Hikaru with his ash coloured hair. Plus Ouran is awesome. And the school sports festival would be awesome animated. Though the way it ended with Eclair might make it difficult for any continuation..

I also want another season of Haruhi, like most people. Preferably with a new dance ending for me to learn.

Claymore as It kinda leaves it right at a good point at the end
Elfen Lied the ending was way too abrupt
Ghost in the Shell just cos it was an awesome show

First thing that came to mind was

1. Double arts
2. Zombie Powder
3. either FMA or ghost in the shell (they were both so great)

Double Arts was canceled not ended. so it was never rapped up.

Zombi powder also just eneded but it had a bit more closeure

Double arts last chapter was half quickly finishing a battle which they had trained for in the last couple chapters displaying a newly created style of fighting then a jump to one of the protagonists all grown up and fine. Very disappointing

and if anyone says inuyasha I will slap them

Death Note should not have lasted any longer.
There's a difference between being a fan and being a fan who can't let go. The series would've ultimately been canceled because of the decrease in fanbase due to drastic change in plot, story, and characters. There's no way even the Saw writers could continue that.

1. Zombie Powder - Nothing happened. There was no ending! It was better than Bleach in my opinion. Better characters, better managed cast, betters Uryu(C.T.), better Ichigo(Gamma), better Orihime(Wolfgangina), and better secondary main character(Elwood). Had quite a lot of room to develop. Elwood and C.T = My Favorite 2 Manga Characters of all time.

2. S-cry-ed - Would've been hard to continue but had it not been given the notice that it was getting the boot it could've been continued. Good story and characters, uniquely designed action sequences, overall was a very good series.

3. I don't think I have a third at the moment.

Yeah another Zombie Powder fan. That was my number two. Any series with a chainsaw sword of doom deserves to last longer. And they all had very unique styles of fighting. It kept it very interesting

s-cry-ed was similar in that aspect but it took the dbz route where everyone kept getting stronger. thats what I like about naruto. getting stronger is more of a struggle and there are downsides that keep it even more complex and fun.

C.T. Smith was just epic.
If the series was continued and he was further developed I think he could've made Venus ditch Neuro for him.
