Why didnt itachi kill sasuke and kakashi?

Any suggestions? o.o

He chose Sasuke to be the one to avenge their clan. For him to set his mind one only one thing: Trying to kill his brother and killing Uchiha's killer.

Itachi...when did he try to kill Kakashi again? ;_;

Now I remember.

I think he didnt kill him because he didnt wanna cause too much commotion in the village. He even told Kisame to back down cuz they hadnt come back to Konoha to fight...but just to simply find Naruto.

I think it's because Itachi does have feelings deep down inside and he does, as a matter of fact, like his brother to a point that he really didn't want to kill him. He rather wanted him to live his life and give him a purpose to live (meaning he didn't want his brother to commit suicide).

As for Kakashi, no clue. Don't really care.

I believe that there is more to Itachi than we know. Once it's revealed it'll explain why he didn't kill them.

Yep there is more to itachi than meets the eye he didnt kill kakashi because they didnt wanna start a war with konoha

I agree with this. Itachi isn't a brash fighter or person. He would rather do things without too much commotion and after effects. And what is the point of killing Sasuke NOW?
