The 4th Division Barracks are for members to eat, sleep, train, and relax. However, it is larger than the other barracks to accommodate people outside of the division for healing purposes. So if you're injured and in need of healing, here's the place to be.
It has two large hospital wards (http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c319/SamuraiPizzaCat/talknaruto/RPG/ward.jpg), one on both ends of the facility, to house multiple shinigami at once. Individual rooms are more for longer-term patients.
Captain: Sakoshita Hokoe (Nyanki)
Vice Captain: Manzo Benjiro (Anthony Sky)
Seated officers: Kokubo Hatashi (NaruxHina_4_Ever)

In white flash Toshio stood at the entrance of the hospitable with his younger brother Keitaro in his arms his body covered in blood and deep gashes his long gray hair draped with the slight stain of blood. A group of medical soul reapers ran out and quickly took Keitaro from Toshio's arms and rushed him to intensive care. Toshio then then vanished in flash step.

Masato arrived at the entrance of the hospital right after Keitaro went in. He was also covered in blood and had a bullet hole only inches away from his heart, and lots of deep cuts along his body. He looked bad.

Masato closed his eyes and took deep breaths during the procedure, allowing Manzo to do his thing. He said nothing during the procedure, since he was only inches away from dying when he arrived, but still remained strong.

From high above, a large golden bird approached. Shinigami of the 4th Division gathered, recognizing the arrival of their captain. They quickly backed away, clearing a spot for the phoenix to land.
When the bird gently decended, the Shinigami could see Captain Sakoshita Hokoe healing Ketuzuma. Her hands were placed against him, glowing a greenish color.
Two Shinigami ran up with a stretcher, then assisted their captain by moving the man from the bird's back onto it. Hokoe's hands stayed in contact with Ketuzuma throughout the process as she moved at the same rate the others did. "You are where it's safe, so please keep relaxed."

Slipping in and out of awareness, Zuma tried to focus on one thing, in order to keep himself awake. He focused on Hokoe, never letting his eyes leave her. Oddly enough, his eyes were a deep brown! Why were they not gold, or silver? Even he himself did not know why, but he imagined it had something to do with his loss of blood. So, his now dark brown eyes concentrated on Hokoes face, as he mentally made tasks for himself. He couldnt talk, but he wanted to. Anything to keep himself alive.

The shining phoenix spread its wings, then dispersed back into feathers. Hokoe pulled a hand from Ketuzuma and held the handle of her zanpakutou toward the feathers. They moved quickly back to where they came, but just before all of them could return, Hokoe brought the blade down. She then allowed the remaining couple dozen to land on Ketazuma.
As they made contact and set Zuma's wounds aflame, one of the Shinigami holding the stretcher jumped. Hokoe turned to look at him, at which the Shinigami apologized. She smiled. "Oh, well it is an odd thing for fire to not burn, isn't it?" Her calmness settled the nerves of the Shinigami, and he went back to focusing on the task at hand.
The three entered a room. Zuma was quickly but carefully moved to a bed. Another Shinigami entered the room with a rolling cart of medical supplies, which Hokoe took a set of bandages from. She began wrapping the wounds as the fire burned over top. They didn't burn hot, instead feeling soothingly warm.

Miyako flashed into the room and she slightly wobbled from her dizziness. "Vice Captain Akahana," she coughed vehemently. "She needs help, like now," she said placing her lightly on the ground." As she bent over to set her down, her head became very lightheaded and she blacked out on the floor next to the vice captain.

Zuma seemed to relax a bit from the soothing warmth of tthe healing fire. It was odd, for he never even realized he was tense. His now dark brown eyes were glowing, but nowhere near gold or silver. He could now manage a cough, and if he could do that, he figured he might be able to talk. "Hokoe?" His voice cracked and broke through the small word, but he managed to get it out so that it sounded like an actual word.

Hokoe turned to the Shinigami with the cart. "Please seek out assistance for those two."
The Shinigami gave a bow and rushed out the door, calling for help as soon as he stepped outside of the room. Quickly, four other Shinigami entered the room and began to diagnose Miyako and Akahana's injuries.
She looked down at Ketazuma, "Shhhhh, you shouldn't speak unless it's necessary. Save your strength." Hokoe continued to bandage up his chest. "You took quite a number of hits. Now, just relax."

He couldnt help but let out a small chuckle, it was in his nature. And he regretted it, because it hurt, alot. He winced at the pain, but shortly after his smile was there. "Well... This isnt exactly what I had in mind." He looked around, seeing the hospital room. "This is supposed to be the meadow I found, and the birds should be singing while we eat lunch." He ginned a crooked, yet still very handsome smile. He was obviously not taking any of Hokoe's advice, and he was paying for it with every syllable.

Hokoe gave a slight smile, turning to look into his eyes. She recognized what Ketuzuma was referring to. As she went back to work, finishing the bandages around his chest, she asked, "What is it you are trying to say, Captain Ketuzuma?"

He smiled, again with alot of pain thrown in there, and leaned his head back, closing his eyes. "Well this isnt exactly the next situation I wanted to be in with you. Laying in a hospital bed while you patch me up. I was hoping the circumstances could be a bit better." He mentally examined his body. "But it appears that my small patch of luck has faded away. Its really too bad."

"Oh, I see." Ketuzuma was covered with white bandages from the top of his chest down to his waist. This was where the majority of the wounds were located, and along with the fact that the internal organs were housed there, so it was tackled first.
The Shinigami who brought the cart returned with an IV bag of blood. He rolled the wheeled pole next to the head of the bed, then took the uninjured arm. He checked for blood vessels, then cleaned off an area and inserted the needle. Blood began flowing down the tube and into the captain's system.
Hokoe began to address the wounded thigh. With a slight wave of the hand, some of the flames from Zuma's chest chased down to the area. "I see you had high hopes then, hmm?" She began unraveling the roll of bandages in her hand.

Zuma scowled, but it was a playfull scowl. It irked him how she was taking everything so lightly. But it was how she was, ever since the met so long ago. "Maybe not too high, but they were hopes none the less. And you. You seem to be taking this very lightly. You are not looking forward to it?" His eyes opened slowly, and focused on Hokoe, almost completely unaware of the IV just injected in him. "As though you have no attraction to me whatsoever."

"My, my, don't we think highly of ourselves?" Hokoe chuckled softly. Ketuzuma had always been quite the charmer and proud of his looks as well.
She continued on with her work, her eyes concentrated on that. "Well," she said, as she began to bind the wound, "I believe I would look forward to it in a different light." Hokoe was careful with her wording, as she knew she hadn't accepted either offer from Neriki nor Ketuzuma.
She wound a few more bandages around the thigh. "Lunch with a friend. Now that would be enjoyable. Both nice and carefree." She sighed longingly at the thought, especially to imagine something so nice during the peril Soul Society was currently facing. "In all honesty, I'm not very interested in having anything more at the moment."

Ketuzuma chuckled, but in a sense, agrred with her. Lunch with a friend would be very nice, relaxing if nothing else. And in these times, it could only help all the better. He shrugged, and looked up at the cieling. It wasnt until he had seen a small reflection until he had seen what he looked like at the moment. His sweaty heair was matted against his face. Accompanied by dirt, dust, and blood. He seemed nowhere near the usual.
"Thats understandable, and workable. A friend would be nice, and lunch with one would be better." He looked back down, and smiled. A real smile, one the enveloped his presence in pure joy.

"I see," said Hokoe as she finished the wrappings around his thigh.
She reached over and grasped the hand of the wounded arm lightly. The area had already been coated in the healing flames due to being so close to Zuma's torso. She gently lifted his arm and began to wrap the final wound. Her eyes glanced up from her task briefly, just long enough for her to say, "I would be happy to join you, if that is the case."
Hokoe then lowered Zuma's arm slowly. She worked on tying the bandage into place. After that, she would be done with bandaging.

Zumas smile was the only thing that could save his trashy look. "Then I would be glad to have you. Whenever you like." He finally closed his eyes again, and after a moment, opened them. To his, and most likely Hokoe's, they were back to their original state, but a different for a moment. The silver irises shone bright as a light, two beams directly at Hokoe, before they dimmed back to their original, yet still bright color. Then silver.

"Oh, Zuma, don't go dyin' on me yet!" a sarcastic and mildly mocking tone called from the outside of the room. Ketuzuma would know this voice very well, and the very sound of his voice would probably make his skin crawl, as it usually did. Stepping inside of the room was a slanted eyes captain, with white hair that appeared to shine very bright blue in the light. His smile was everlasting, as he always enjoyed a fun time. In this case, it was making fun of Ketuzuma.
This man was Satoru Hayashi, captain of the 5th Division, probably the most mysterious captain of them all, and always seemed to be in a good mood. His sarcasm never faded, even in serious moments. One might call him the great in not-so-great moments.
Satoru walked up to the downed Ketuzuma. He continued to smile, glancing down at his rival captain. These two had been rivals since god knows when. "Sorry for the intrusion, Captain Hokoe, but Zuma here owes me a candy cane." Satoru apologized, with his tone of voice you never could tell when he was being serious or not. You could either love it, or hate it.

"Perha--" began Hokoe, before Satoru interrupted. She turned her head, watching the 5th Division Captain enter the room.
Hokoe replied to Satoru, "Is that so?" She finished the last of the tying. All Ketuzuma needed now was rest. "I should probably head back to the Meeting Chambers." She took a few steps backward. "Captain Satoru, you should do the same once you get your candy cane."

And as it always had been, Zuma's skin began to crawl. As if thousands of bugs were making their way through him. He shook off the feeling, and averted his now silver eyes towards his long time rival. His dirty, sweaty face scowled hard, but behind it there seemed to be a bit of joy.
"What do you want Satoru. We all know I dont have a candy cane to give you." His eyes focused on the 5th division captains, then he thought about the fight. "Oh man! I forgot. I should be going to!" He raised himself up as quickly as his body would allow, whihc wasnt very quick. It was also very painful, and he stopped halfway, and fell back.

Satoru shrugged as Ketuzuma mentioned the candy cane. Of course he didn't have any, probably for him anyway even if he did. Satoru watched Ketuzuma attempt to reach the outside of the room, but only to fall. Satoru walked up to Ketuzuma, patting him on the back mockingly.
"Oh come on, don't be so hasty. Ya got plenty of time to recover!" Satoru stated in a fake cheery voice, or so it sounded like. "The fight is in Head Captain Tokuzen's hands now anyway, along with Heuco Mundo overlord Kinzo Kamoku...you'll just be gettin' in tha way, now. Ya know, like ya always do."

Hokoe gave a slight smile. "Are you that eager to return to the battlefield, Captain Ketuzuma? You should stay and rest." She remained in her position, awaiting to see what he would decide to do now.
She peered over at the other side of the room, seeing the four Shinigami from before. Miyako and Akahana were lifted to the beds they collapsed nearby in the ward, and they were being bandaged and treated. They would call Hokoe over should it be necessary.

Masato was lying in his bed after being treated by Manzo. The battles were raging on, however, and he wasn't there to help. He felt one reiatsu in particular, though. Kinzo Kamoku's. This immediately fired up Masato. He jumped out of the bed, where he was supposed to be resting and taking it easy so his wounds would have more time to recover. He tried to hide the pain though.
"Capta-Soi Kuchiki...I'm.. a bit surprised to see you." Masato managed to utter out. One could easily tell he was in pain. "I have to help out against the battle with King...it's..my duty as a captain." he answered her calmly, still panting a bit from exhaustion.

"A few cuts is one matter, the state you're in another." Hokoe leaned down next to Ketuzuma. Most of the healing flames that had burned on him had been extinguished from him falling on them.
She reached for her zanpakutou. "Feather Dance, Ren-Ou," she spoke gently, as the blade once again split into many golden feathers. However, it was only partially done, allowing three times the number of feathers as before to be used on Zuma. His wounded areas were engulfed in golden flames. Somewhere in the room there was a very loud Crash. A shinigami came charging up rom the entrance to the ward where Hokoe was healing the captain of the 7th Squad. He was being chased by a group of Squad 4 shinigami for doing something or other. Probably breaking into the ward when he was wasn't supposed to. The shinigami ducked behind a bed as the Squad 4 members charged through a door at the other end of the room not noticing where the young shinigami went in there confusion.
The shinigami walked out towards the two captains with a big goofy smile on his face. The badge pinned to his shoulder signified his position as the liutenant of the 7th Squad, Hiro Shiba. Stifling a laugh, the 7th division captain watched his lietenant with an amused expression. It humored him whenever Hiro tried to act very nonchalant about things, especially being the way he was. He remembered it being that way since the day they met, when he saved Hiro's life in Rukongai. But he new it was just a gimmick.

Hokoe let out a sigh as she closed her eyes. "It appears I am needed in two places at once. I hope it is forgiven if I make a move to the human world first to treat whatever problem awaits me there." She had wanted to go assist in the situation in Soul Society, but if her medical skills were needed elsewhere, she had to go. It could be the defining line of life and death for someone
She checked herself to make sure she had everything, then headed out of the room as well. "Please deliver my apologies," she said to Ketuzuma. "I will send some of the division over there to treat whoever needs it in my place." With that, she was off to the human world, off to Karakura Town.

'honestly....' she thought to herself 'If my eyes were that hrd to open, this blanket is keeping me right here...' she elaborated to herself.......she was comfortable....but there was a big blank spot in her memory.....all she remembered was being in a lot of poain....then feeling okay....and now......she was completely trapped beneath a two pound blanket..... 'Have my mucsles decided to take a day off or something?' she wondered.......then she blinked a few times.......for a moment she thought she was blind......but she could see coulour.....she could see everything incredibly....but it was different then she remembered....everything was so much brighter and sharper........she blinked several more times......the incredible clarity did not fade......

"WHAT THE HELL???" she yelled.. Her skin was a shining white, that was too pale for any normal person, and an odd tatoo like mark spiraled up her arm....it was red and black, but it had a terrifying beauty to it......she tried to sit up....and failed...... "Uh......come in i guess......" she yelled, contenting herself with lying there.......

"And sorry about the yelling...but.......uh.....my arm doesnt look like im used to it looking." she said...... this was true, as it was for the rest of her body......her eyes were the most noticable thing......one eye was a glittering silver, that enchanted the looker......the other was more noticable still.......its iris was red and gold, streaked with touches of darkest blue.......her skin was entirely the pale shade of her arms, and the thin spiraling markings were subtly laced everywhere, though the only trace of it on her face was a spiraling mark on her left cheek...... less noticibly, she had grown about three inches....... she looked up at neriki....and finaly was able to find a new mucsle group.....her spine arched and she let out a yelp.... "OW" she said......but then she sat up.....rubbing her back...... "well.....that was unpleasent..." she muttered. "Whats happened, is king still over us?" she asked, sounding abruptly worried.

It had been a long time since she had really ventured out of the 4th Division barracks. Some had been badly wounded in the last incident that had befell Soul Society. And once that was all done and over with, there was just so many things to catch up on. Today, she was hoping to get out and about, as she was finishing up with her last patient.

She turned and began to head out of the room. "The wounds, they never cease. But that is what we are here for."
At her stepping into the doorway, Hokoe looked to a passing 4th Division member. With her eye contact, the member knew he was wanted. The blond haired shinigami bowed his head slightly. "Yes, Captain Sakoshita?"
"Spread the word that we are to prepare ourselves for injured from the human world. Captains may be among them as well."
"Yes Captain!" The shinigami turned around and dashed down the halls of the barracks, spreading the information.

Hokoe returned to her barracks from Karakura Town. She was sitting, legs folded, behind the shoulders of the golden bird of her shikai. Behind her rested Keitaro. The energy that made up the bird kept Keitaro's condition stable as they made the journey. It swooped down before the barracks. Upon arrival, members of the 4th Division poured from the barracks in order to assist. They quickly transferred Keitaro onto a stretcher and brought him inside to a room. They immediately began the healing process.
The shinigami all did this without a word of order. They were ready and knew what to do.
Hokoe dropped to the ground, landing on her feet, as the phoenix dispersed into feathers beneath her. She was holding her blade slightly out of the sheath, and all of the feathers flew towards it and went inside. After they were all inside, Hokoe slid her zanpakutou all the way back in. "Magnificent work, everyone," she said to their swift work. Hokoe then walked forward, making her way inside the barracks.

Jin walked into the 4th squad barracks. His zanpaktou held around his neck by the black string, the 'scales' on his zanpaktou all glowed an orange color today as he walked into the barracks and saw all the various people around Keitaro. They all seemed to be lower rank than him so he dismissed them, though they stood around him to provide assistance. His black jacket covered in red and blue paint splotches. Lets do this. He cracked his knuckles and his hands placed over Keitaro, there were to many wounds for him to just focus on one.
His light hair dangled over his eyes as he brushed it out of the way. Then his hands glowed a green color and it coated Keitaro's body. Most of his reaitsu had been replenished by the other healers but he was still missing a large chunk. Soon using little less than half of Jin's energy Keitaro's reaitsu was fully replenished and now Jin would use Keitaro's reaitsu in conjunction with his own to heal the wounds. Soon most of Keitaro's wounds were fully healed, and anything that wasn't healed was to minor to worry about. Its done.
It was always his instinct to ask if there was anything he should do with the patient before sending them on their way, or if they were good to go once they were back on their feet, though today he didn't ask he had things he needed to do. He looked at Keitaro, he had been pretty beat up when he first came in here, and now he looked much, much better. A familiar voice, that of a female rang in his head. Good job Jin, you are getting better everyday. He smiled to himself and gave a mental response to his zanpaktou. Thank you Terutada, I wouldn't be where I was today if it wasn't for you. With that he walked out of the 4th squad barracks, he was heading over to squad 5's barracks, to receive training from their captain. Hopefully Satarou wouldn't care.

Neriki appeared in the barracks, where two beds were. He placed the young soul reaper and Akahana down on the beds, letting the squad four members take care of everything. After he was sure everything was settled he bid his farewells and was gone in a shunpo. He needed to get back to the academy where Tokuzen was.
---
Jin came in right as Neriki left, he directed the squad four members to heal the boy while he took to working on Akahana. Her wounds were so bad that he wouldn't be able to heal them without using his zanpaktou. He pulled the string up over his head, holding the small dagger over Akahana's stomach where the biggest wound was. Then he spoke the familiar chant for his zanpaktou. Paint the Darkened Sky; Terutada. An increase in his reaitsu followed, as the familiar paint brush formed in his hands.
The bristles seemed red as he brought the brush down and stroked over where the wound was. Then just to be safe, he stroked all around the wound. Though instead of red paint this paint was a creamy yellow color. It slowly seeped into Akahana's body anywhere there were internal wounds in her body. He kept his light blue eyes focused on Akahana's face the entire time.

"If you are indeed not getting along and feel that you need to avoid him, then by all means, you may stay in my office." She knew it was often best to take time to cool off if there was steam building up. It was better than either of them getting overly upset and causing trouble when there was no need. Misunderstandings happen more likely in such situations.
Hokoe gestured off to the side to some stacks of papers. "I have some paperwork I need to do and read up on, so it would be for the best rather than to go outside." She turned to the door, then looked back at Neriki. "Not to mention that if the Head Captain is really after you when you want to be left alone, he will follow you even out of here."
She reached off to the side and pulled a sheet of paper onto her desk. "I have a room off to the side if you would like to make tea, or simply take a nap." Her other hand pointed to a door for a moment, then returned onto the desk. "There might be something to nibble on as well, although if you want anything outside of a mere snack, I will ask of one of my division to fetch it."
Then Hokoe folded her hands, looked to Neriki, and waited for the shinigami to respond.

The 12th Division Taichō made it to the 4th division barracks with restored energy. He raised his leg up since his arms were occupied, and kicked open the door. Some members that were inside were startled from the sudden opening of their doors. The barracks were full of people today with the whole invasion going on. A couple of members ran over towards him when they saw the charred body of the 10th Division Fukutaichō. "Please take her to the emergency room. She needs medical treatment as soon as possible." He ordered.
The flock of members surrounding him nodded in unison. One boy from the group stepped forward, as Kendo left her in his hands. The boy was about to walk off before he looked back. "Do you need any treatment, Taichō Kamikaze?" He asked. Kendo shook his head in response, waving lazily as he departed from the barracks. The boy watched the 12th Division Taichō disappear, as the doors closed behind him. Hokoe arrived at the front of the barracks and walked swiftly inside. It was very busy, with the medical shinigami running all about. Wounded shinigami in hospital beds were pushed from one place to another.
As she neared her office, Hokoe was soon met by one of her division members. "Here's the current report, Sakoshita-taichou."
She took the clipboard in her hand. "Thank you." Her eyes glanced over the information on the first page before she flipped it over the top of the board's clip and skimmed through the next couple pages. "Are there any dispatch teams currently active?"
"No ma'am," the shinigami replied. He continued to walk next to Hokoe, keeping up with her pace. "Everyone has returned, although Jin left with the Kidou Chief it seems."
Hokoe finished thumbing through the papers and flipped them back into their original place. She handed the clipboard back to the shinigami. "Gather the freest group. We have more people to attend to."
"Hai!" The shinigami ran off as Hokoe turned into her office.
She looked around for any urgent memos on her desk, but there were none. Stepping back out into the busy hallway, there were already some shinigami waiting for her. "Follow me." Hokoe and the group of five were soon exiting the barracks and heading to the location a strong reiatsu could be sensed coming from.

Jin appeared in the barracks, the place was filled with the many Kuchiki who had been the estate and almost every one of them had more than minor injuries. This was going to be a long day, that was for sure. He found two open spaces and laid the Kuchiki he had with him down gently. "Don't worry, you're going to be okay. I promise." His words were filled with exhaustion as he pulled Terutada into a more comfortable position around his neck and fished around in his shinigami clothing finding a small pill. Good, he had one, now he could healing people. He popped the small pill into his mouth and crunched it between his teeth. He felt his reaitsu quickly being restored and he decided he would start with the two Kuchiki who were laying before him wounded.
Each of them had severe gashes running down their chests and they looked like they were in a good amount of pain. He placed his hands over the wound and a pale blue-green energy began seeping down around his hands. He couldn't heal as quickly as his captain could but he would still do his best.
---
In a fwoosh sound, Selene appeared. She placed the two wounded Kuchiki down next to the ones Jin had and looked over to the fourth seat of the medical squad. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She knelt down next to the other Kuchiki and laid her left hand on his shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze. All the while she waited from Jin's suggestion for her to help. She really didn't have any medical abilities besides what she knew how to do in the 12th squad with technology.

Tadashi laid on a gurney surrounded by various medical supplies. Groans and moans could be heard throughout the while room as officers ran in and out of the room to gather supplies, while others treated the patients. The division was pretty hectic after receiving two attacks on Soul Society. People didn't even recovered yet. Luckily, Tadashi wasn't upon the ones who'd receivied any injury. He'd just fainted and been taking here upon orders of the Fourth Division's captain, Hokoe.
He got up slowly and rubbed his head wondering the the heck he was, until he saw the people on the gurneys. "Ah, how did I get here?" He said aloud as he tried to get out of the gurney. A female officer came to his bed side once she saw what he was trying to do. "Rest. You had fainted early, so we brought you here. Don't worry, you can leave once you check you out." She said, pushing him back down.
"It's okay. I'm fine..I just fained earlier. I remember now, some guy raided our estate and started destroying everything."
"Yes, we've been informed. But it's best you stay here regardless. It's on orders of our captain," She pushed him back down on the bed, "and for precautionary measures we can't just let you leave without checking you out.." She explained. "Fine." He replied. Tadashi lifted himself up a bit as he laid on the bed. "Thank you for understanding." She said with a smile. The officer than left to go get some supplies.
"Ugh. I wonder how long I have to say here...." He sighed staring off into space.

The captain of the Fourth Division made her appearance on scene. She immediately walked through nearest set of doors and saw what remained of the medic madness. Most of the rushing about had been taken care of, with all of the wounded and injured in bed. Those with more severe injuries had and still received attending if needed, with many of the minorly injured waiting after their initial inspection or already taken care of and off to sleep.
With her appearance in the hall, Sakoshita Hokoe was swarmed by a small group of shinigami who were each holding up a clipboard and spouting out information about the well-being of the patients as a whole one after another.
"I see, I see," Hokoe said as she took each board and stacked them on top of each other. "I'll read through your data and will summon you should I have any questions. Please return to those that need you at the moment."
With that, the flock dispersed, and Hokoe continued to walk to her office.

When lady*Hokoe arrives at her office she would find it not to be empty , but rather a man of huge standing physically slightly hunched leaning on a cane. The master medic would know who this man was right away by the sight of his snow white hair and tanned skin , along with his Haori , it was Head Captain Tokuzen Moto.*

Hokoe would also see that Jin was also in the office standing before Tokuzen a chart sat on the desk as his hands glowed a light green color. Sweat covered his face and his hair was matted down along his head and brow. It was obvious he'd been working hard while Hokoe was handling her duties as a Taichou. It looked like he had also taken some kind of charge of the situation being the highest ranked medical staff while Hokoe was out. Now she was back and things would be much better around here.
Reaching one hand from Tokuzen he turned the chart to face Hokoe and then began to speak while working. "I've been trying to treat the Head Captain while you were handling your duties Hokoe-sama, but he has some form of poison in his body and I can't decipher it. His chart is right there." He pointed behind him to where the chart was and then the glow on his hands stopped as he walked around the desk and prepared to exit Hokoe's office. "I'll leave him to you while I go and handle the rest of the wounds. I can take some of those charts if you wish." He stood there at the door, waiting to see what his captain would say.

Tadashi laid against the gurney. Staring up at the ceiling day dreaming. He was caught in an adventure that involved himself and a couple other of his friends from the Soul Academy. They were all newly graduated students and had been recently assigned to their respective divisions. It was there first day and all of them were excited. And to add to that all of them had received their first mission that day and were bunched together in an effort to encourage team work. His group had been assigned to dispatch a couple hollows in the human world, so they moved fast. But his dream had turned sour after some time had passed.
His group wasn't doing so well. All of them were seemingly outmatched by these hollows, even though they'd been training most of the time. These monstrous creatures proved too much for the trainees. One after another people started losing their lives within his group. It had turned into a bloody mess. Tadashi was the only survivor. He was about to meet his end when another nurse came up to him and felt his head. And that's when he jumped. He nearly fell out of his bed, but luckily for him she grabbed him before he could tumble out.
"I-i'm sorry. I didn't mean to startle you. I was just checking your temperature." She half-smiled.
"It's my fault. I was paying attention...didn't see you there..was too busy daydreaming." He laughed.
"What were you day dreaming about?" She asked jotting down stuff onto the medical pad.
"U-um, an adventure....that turned sour very quickly."
"What did it involve?"
"Oh, you know. The usual hollows here and there..people dying."
"Oh dear. Did it scare ya?"
"Nah. I remained tough throughout the whole thing. I did this and that!" He motioned with his hands the actions he'd taken during his daydream. Of course, that was a front. He was scared out of his mind. But he couldn't let the woman know. He didn't want to appear less of a man.
But for some reason the lady knew just by his act. She smiled. "I'm sure you did."
"I'm serious!" He flexed his muscle. But failed....he didn't have muscles. (lol)
"Okay Mr. Toughie. Well, see ya. I have to attend to more patients." She said waving goodbye as she said.
Tadashi sighed and sulked in the background.

Hokoe's eyes widened at the sight of the Head Captain in her office. She hadn't heard of his return. Was it just now? Before she could say anything, her eyes fell to the younger Jin who was at work on Tokuzen's injuries. He seemed to have been working hard in her absence at the barracks, and Hokoe took a mental note on that.
"Thank you very much, Jin-san," Hokoe said in response. "You may take a couple, but I would like them returned to me, along with any updates." She set her stack of clipboards upon her desk for the young shinigami to pick from. Each one contained summaries of a different area of the hospital area, which was important for the captain to read through. She liked to have an understanding about everything within her barracks.
With that, she turned to the Head Captain. "Moto-soutaichou," she said very respectfully, "what a pleasant surprise, although for unfortunately unpleasant circumstances it would seem." Hokoe looked at the chart Jin had put together containing info on a poison.

Jin looked at the charts that his captain had set down and nodded. He didn't need to exactly take them with him, as long as he had a basic understanding he could use the information that was with each patient to work with as well. "Thank you Hokoe-taichou." From the charts he noted that some people were ready for discharge and there was no sense letting them take up hospital space when so many were injured and needed more care.
As he stepped out of the door he wiped the sweat from his brow and made his way towards those who were ready for discharge and just needed another check up. His first stop was Tadashi and he looked him over, he had a little bit of a fever left but he could take care of that and the boy would be free to go. "Ah, Tadashi-kun, you seem to be in good shape you just need a little bit of quick treatment and you can go."
Placing one hand over the boys forehead a faint green energy blossomed around his hand and quickly began to finish Tadashi's medical care up. "You don't have any symptoms or physical pain that I should know about, do you?"

Tokuzen looked to lady Hokoe with that famous smile of his that simply felt like pure warmth and genteelness. "Thank you Jin for all your efforts" he said respectfully bowing to the young medic.
The head captain then looked back to Hokoe "Yes it is pleasant to simply be back home" He said still be happy to be home with those he loved and cherished.
"My lady usually I care for my own wounds , but this is far beyond my abilities" Tokuzen's body was covered with freshly formed scars from slashes and cuts that had healed on there own mostly , then fully taken cared of by Jin. But there was something greatly wrong with Tokuzen body still , it had poison running throughout that was having a very serious effect on the Head captain."Lady Hokoe I should show you what this poison has done before , anything else" He said softly knowing she would need to see the effects and he shouldn't keep it from her. "I am about to fully release my power" He said softly right before a burst of spiritual pressure rushed into the air , but it was no massive or anything close to a captains , let alone Tokuzens. It was that of your average vice captain maybe even less.
"I do not know how but this is the extent of my power currently" He said calmly and fully trusting of lady Hokoe because if the wrong people got news of Tokuzen current state , he would be dead within days.

Jin let out a deep sigh, this boy had probably gotten out scratch free compared to everybody else. That was good, but it was also unsettling he could have taken care of this sooner but he'd just been so busy. After the fever was taken care of he lifted a smaller chart off of Tadashi's bed and scribbled on it. "The estate was indeed destroyed, however, most everybody survived. We've had a few deaths but it was sadly unavoidable. The ones who died were either dead before we could do anything or had wounds so severe they weren't curable at the time."
With that, he clipped the smaller chart to his waist and smirked to Tadashi. "You're free to go now. Please stay safe and take care of yourself." With that, he walked off and proceeded to take care of other patients. Most everybody had been stabilized and those who still needed attention were getting it now. Luckily, the worst was now over.

Tadashi gripped the side of his bed with anger that it rambled the sheet. "I see." He said with some hint of sadness in his voice. "Well, I'm sure it will be rebuilt with some time, but that doesn't replace the lost ones.." Tadashi said as he got off the gurney. "Thank you for treating me and I'll try." As those words left his mouth the young Kuchiki was out the door and walked down the hallway until he'd reached the exit to the division.
Stepping outside he let out a sigh and walked down the walkway towards the large doors to the entrance of the Fourth Division compound and exited.

Hokoe watched as Tokuzen released his reiatsu, seeing it compressed at such a low state compared to how it should be. "I see." There was concern in her voice as she took in the information into her head. Her eyes traced over Tokuzen's scars.
Turning to the papers attached to the flat rectangle once more, Hokoe began to read over the information. "It appears to me that if there is indeed a poisonous substance in your system, it is either inhibiting you physically or mentally. That would be either your ability to produce reiatsu or your ability to control it." With one hand, she flipped through to the next page, reading further. "Do you have any odd feelings in your head or any grogginess?" she asked, trying to pinpoint how Tokuzen was being affected.

"No I have none , my body feels only slightly weak like after a hard training match , it was allot worse were I couldn't move at all but slowly it started to recover and now with Jin who has done the rest , I feel much better" Tokuzen explained "My lady , my mind feels sharp and my body simply worn out ..is it possible this poison could actually be acting like some sort of agent attacking my very spirit energy?" He asked , Tokuzen had been around for a long time and learned to treat his own wounds like any good soldier should but also learn where her or his limits are skill wise so to know when they should see someone like Lady Hokoe , and right now Tokuzen was lost he had never had such a issue with his spirit energy.

Hokoe ran the thought over in her head. "Although unlikely, I will not rule out any possibilities." Something that held back reiatsu at a certain level would be more like a seal, such as the Soul-Limiter Symbol the shinigami used to restrict their levels by 80%. Something like a parasitic organism would also better fit the bill. However, there were many abilities in this world and the others, and that number was always growing.
"To your knowledge, did you breathe in any strange substances?" the captain asked. "Or have any injected or slipped into your wounds? Anything of that sort?"

Tokuzen thought carefully and then it hit him , "When I was captured , one of the brothers weapons rapped around me digging into my skin and before I knew I had lost consciousness , then once I regain consciousness I was unable to move for sometime. I assumed my wounds were to great and the prison I was in suppressed all spirit energy , so I assumed those were the cause but now its clear that it was mostly the work of the poison " Tokuzen said but then something else hit him as he now started to brain storm "The prison I was in suppressed spiritual pressure maybe that had a effect on the poison and its effects , strengthening them maybe? , Like just how a certain environments have great effects on germs and viruses?" It was clear Tokuzen enjoyed reading and learning things that weren't simply battle originated.

"It is also possible they may have put drugs into your food or drink," Hokoe pondered aloud before setting the clipboard of information upon her desk. "That could explain why symptoms persist somewhat if you haven't been free for very long." It was all just hypotheses when you get down to it, and they needed something more than that.
She walked over to a drawer and pulled out a hypodermic needle with an empty syringe. "I will take a sample of blood to devise an antidote for the toxic substance found by Jin. If issues persist, then there is an underlying cause beyond that poison, perhaps even disguised by it." If they eliminated what they knew, they might be able to narrow down something they didn't know. As Hokoe neared, pulling out a wipe from within her haori to clear the area for the needle, she asked, "Please hold out your arm for me, Moto-soutaichou."

Tokuzen nodded as he placed out his arm that seemed like it could rip a tree straight from the ground , roots and all. It was strange for Tokuzen to actually be as weak as he currently was , it was also dangerous. He had enemies who would not hesitate to take advantage of his weakness.

"We did our best to hold things together in your leave, Moto-soutaichou," Hokoe said as she wiped the moist paper against a small area on Tokuzen's muscular arm with one hand. The other held the arm, as well as the syringe, up for support. "Although those divisions have been holding themselves together with their top-most seats for the short length of time of your absence, it has given enough time for those willing for the task to apply for the open positions." She had not heard much about those opting for the spots through all that she had to take care of, but Hokoe had heard somewhat.
After tossing the napkin-like sheet into the nearby trash bin, Hokoe inserted the needle into the near center of the wet spot on the Head Captain's arm. She drew up the plunger of the shot device, causing the see-through tubing to fill with red. Once filled adequately, Hokoe swiftly pulled the needle from the skin and capped it. Reaching within her robe coat once more, she drew out a bandage and placed it over the hole in the shinigami leader's arm.
As Hokoe gathered the written data on Tokuzen from Jin, she said, "It will take me some time to devise an antidote, but you are free to any of the private rooms within the facility. I can escort you to one if you wish." With everything needed at hand, she added, "Although, I understand if you have your Head Captain duties to attend to, and given the symptoms of whatever is ailing you, you should be fine to do your usual tasks. However, I suggest you avoid using your reiatsu at this time to preserve it." There was also the fact of doing so to prevent news of Tokuzen's limits from falling upon the wrong ears, but Tokuzen himself surely knew that.

Jin was moving around the hospital discharging patients who no longer required medical attention and who were in condition to go. There weren't many but the more room they had the better. As he moved to check a patient who had received a nasty gash along their chest and arm he heard his name being called rather frantically.
Turning around he saw a group of medics gathered around one of the patients who had been in a severe state earlier but had been stabilized a while ago. Now he had dropped back into critical condition, what was going on. Rushing over he quickly looked at the chart that was handed too him and sighed. He had an infection and it had already started spreading through his blood. If they didn't act fast the man would be dead, or without a limb.
"Get me some antibiotics and I'll try and stave off the infection for as long as possible." Placing his hands over the end of the infection they began to glow green while he waited for the medicine.

Kendo was on the gurney covered in bandages. He'd a long gash across his body that was covered up. It was stained with blood because the wound was still fresh. It'd been healed up, yes, but the blood still remained. He finally awoke after being unconscious for quite some time. The Twelfth Division captain looked around the room. It was pretty much cleared off nurses for the time being. Some patients had left once they were checked and healed. He got up out of his bed attempting to move, but cringed in pain. "Owww..." In a swishing sound, Neriki appeared in the barracks. His purple robes floating around his body as he made his way to where Hokoe was, relying on where her reaitsu was located. Once he stepped into her office he flashed a wide smile, and then he realized Hokoe wasn't in her office, his hair falling down over his eyes.
Moving to the door to the back room where he presumed she was, he spoke from outside. "I stopped by to see how all of the wounded were doing and noticed the place seemed rather packed."

Hokoe had effectively separated the poison that inhabited some of her sample into separate containers, each with a test to them. The data gathered would allow her to construct an appropriate antidote, making use of the collected toxin as a base. This was to be expected of the leader of the Fourth Division. Though some may praise her, it was only doing her job, a job that had been completed by those that held her role over the centuries. It was an important skill of her position, that was for sure, but it was far from unique or special.
After watching each test through their initial phases, Hokoe left them to do a round or two of the facility. Locking the door to the back room, she picked up the clipboards on her desk and made her way out of the office.

Kendo laid down on his bed, hands interlaced, and eyes fixated on the ceiling above him, white as it was. While he stared up at the ceiling countless divisions, which degraded in number over time, went in and came out with some clipboards in hand. Most, or at least, some patients had been checked out and were free to go. Soul Society was slowly recuperating thanks to the Fourth Division. People were getting healed and all that jazz. It would be back to the way it was in no time.
In the mean time however, Kendo turned to his left and looked at the empty gurneys beside him. Most of the people inside the room with him had already been sent home. He was one of the very few still inside the room. The other patients who were still inside the Fourth Division were elsewhere recuperating. He let out a sigh as he looked up at the ceiling.
In another room was Kuchiki, Rose. Rose blinked of couple times looking to the office next to her. "Excuse me, is my brother still in the here? And if he is, can I go see him?" "Um, who's your brother?" Asked the officer. "Um, Tadashi, Tadashi Kuchiki." She replied. The officer than flipped through her clipboard and saw that he'd been checked out. "Oh, Tadashi, is it? It seems he has been checked out already by one of our officers." She replied.
Rose then frowned.
"If you want I can double check. Just to see." Said the officer. "No, it's fine." She smiled. "Okay. Do you have any other questions?"
"Yeah. I have another. What about my parents?"
"Your parents name?"
Rose than spoke of her parents' name. "Ah, I see. So you're related to those Kuchiki's. M'kay." The officer than flipped through her sheet once more. "Alright. They've been checked out as well. They probably didn't come to get you two because a whole mob of people left this division once they were checked out, so they were probably sweeped away. Or the officers probably told them you two needed more training. I'm sorry." She said. "They're probably on their way back now."
"Okay." Replied Rose. The officer smiled and than left.
Rose then sighed. "I could forgive my parents...but that bastard Tadashi forgot me here. T_T I'm so gonna kick his butt when I get out of here." Rose said angrily.

After checking around the barracks at the general situation and helping out where needed, Hokoe returned to her office with personally updated clipboards. She set them on her desk before entering the backroom.
Hokoe took her time to examine the tests, both with her normal eye and that of a microscope. Each of the findings were interesting, and she jotted every bit of information that flowed through her mind onto the categorized sheets with a tit tat of a pen. Occasionally, she added onto a list that seemed to consist of medical terms.
Nearly an hour had passed when she exited the room and shut the door behind her. Hokoe stepped out of her office and asked the nearest shinigami of the division to find Machida Jin and have him report to her office.
(ooc: You can control the NPC if you want, Kuro, especially since I don't know where Jin would be by now. :xd:)

As Jin moved throughout the 4th Squad barracks tending to the few people that remained a medic of the squad approached him and told him that he was to report to Hokoe-taichou's office. Nodding he made his way towards the Taichou's office wondering what exactly he had been called for.
As he stepped inside the office he gave a light smile and spoke. "You called Hokoe-taichou?"

By the time Jin had come, the captain was already sitting at her desk. "Thank you for coming so promptly," Hokoe said. "I need you to retrieve the clothing Moto-soutaichou wore when he received his injuries. Do not clean or wash it at all, I need it as the battle left it." She needed the blood-stained attire as it was.

Jin started to say something when suddenly a small black butterfly floated into Hokoe's office. It's wings flapping up in down seeming to trail glitter behind it as the voice of some Shinigami echoed from it. "There will be a meeting for the Taichou and their Fukutaichou occurring soon, if you could please make your way to Meeting Chambers it would greatly be appreciated." With that, the little winged insect floated back out of the office it's message had been delivered.

Kendo was now healed and patched up, bandage wrappings from waist up. He tried stretching his arms, only coming to realization that it was futile. It only ached him, but he could manage. The captain walked over towards the hook on the wall and pulled off the top half of his robes, sliding it on as carefully as possible as he headed out the door. His captain robes were thrown on simultaneously. And in that instant, the captain of the Twelfth Division disappeared in a flicker, a very slow one, but a flicker nonetheless.
Meanwhile, Rose had been cleared as well. She sat up on the gurney, and shifted her body sideways, so that her feet were hanging over the edge. "It's time to go back." She hopped off, her red hair trailing behind her.

"It seems I must leave shortly," Hokoe said, her eyes following after the butterfly until it was out of sight. Then she turned back to Jin. "Now, can you complete your task before I must leave, or must you go speak to Tokuzen himself?" The meeting wasn't going to happen immediately. If she could finish the antidote in a short amount of time, she could still make it to the chambers before the late arrivals.

"Ah yes, I have Tokuzen-taichou's clothing from the battle here. Sorry about that." He went off to gather them and within minutes he returned with clothing that was tattered and torn, along with many burn marks on it. He wasn't exactly sure what Hokoe-taichou was going to use them for, but if he could be of assistance than it didn't matter. "Here you go." He held out his arms for Hokoe to take the clothing from him.

"Thank you," Hokoe said as she rose up from her chair and took the clothing. "If you would Jin-san, please inform any captains or vice captains that are still within the barracks of the meeting." With that, Hokoe entered her backroom once more, the door clicking shut behind her.
Once in the room, the captain laid out what remained of the battle-worn clothing on a table. There was blood splattered about. She took a pair of tweezers and picked samples off of the dried red substances. Once she took some from each area, she brought her tray of samples over to the microscope.

With his orders given, Jin left Hokoe's office and began moving through the barracks making sure that there wasn't anybody inside that he should be informing about the meeting. As he walked around, his zanpaktou hanging loosely from his neck, he didn't see any of those telltale badges of the Fukutaichou, nor the Taichou Haiori. With that in mind, he figured all of those who were called to the meeting must have left by now.

Hokoe spent the better portion of an hour examining the blood samples and testing the separate kinds, sans the one that was Tokuzen's, against the toxin that flowed through him. The results were fascinating. It was definitely an important bit of information that the shinigami needed to know if they were to face the visoreds again in the future.
With the gained knowledge, Hokoe took from the non-Tokuzen blood and developed an injectable antidote, putting it within a vessel. She slipped the cure into her robe, exited the office, and departed from the barracks. She had a meeting to attend to.

It had been some time and Jin, along with the other members of the Fourth Division had managed to clear out the barracks of those who hadn't been fatally wounded. Only those who were too wounded to return home anytime soon remained in the barracks and were receiving medical care as needed.
With Hokoe away at the meeting and there being no Fukutaichou, nor third seat, Jin was left to oversee the medical care and everything seemed to be going well in his Taichou's absence. He did hope she returned soon, though.

As a Gate open from the human world. Out came the Giant of squad 8. Genjuro was badly wounded around his waist area and his lower back. Taking his time walking through the Barracks, Where is the Four division Taicho I need someone to take care of these wounds and I need it to be taken care of right now. Jin, who had been taking care of other patients, heard the ruckus and quickly put on his 4th Divison face. The very same that so many shinigami had come to not only respect but also fear as he strode out to meet whoever was making such noise while other patients were trying to rest. That was when he saw the new Hachibantai Taichou who seemed to be badly cut, gashed and bloody. Even so, that wouldn't save him from Jin's wrath.
"I regret to inform you that Hokoe-taichou is currently out of the barracks right now, but I can handle your wounds if you so desire." His words were smooth as the man who was clearly dwarfed by the Taichou of Squad Eight took a step forward and spoke in a tone that seemed to literally slice through the air. "However, you would do well to respect this barracks and those who are under its care."

The captain of the division had made her way to the grounds surrounding the building. She had dropped the thoughts of the Head Captain's abnormal behavior back at the captain's chambers. It was too confusing to bother. There would be a myriad of tasks waiting for her once she stepped through those doors--she knew it--so there was no need to have such a thing on her mind.
With a clear head, Hokoe stepped through those barrack doors, awaiting whatever it was that was awaiting her.

Would Hokoe really leave him to die of his injuries if he was a jerk? Her tone said yes. She was not pleased with his attitude.

As Jin spoke, his hands began to glow a blue-green shade as he moved behind Genjuurou examining his wounds before speaking.
"You've been cut up pretty well, but you don't appear to be in critical condition." Bringing his hands down along the Taichou's back the blue-green energy seemed to seep over his wounds and slowly but surely they began to close up and soon the wound on his back had faded leaving no traces of a previous wound. "It will take me at least ten more minutes to fully heal your wounds, and even then you should at least rest for a full twenty-four hours lest you damage your body. Then you would just wind up right back here, again."
Even if Genjuurou didn't think Jin knew what he was talking about, he did. And as the minutes ticked by, Genjuurou's wounds slowly faded away leaving no trace that they had ever been there. The captain would not get far. At the sight of an injured person, shinigami of the Fourth Division flocked to him nearly instantly. They would totally obstruct his path, not that he would have any reason to go further than what he already had. Medics were right there in front of him now.
"Get a bed over here!" called one of them, although it seemed a pair of shinigami had already been moving one their way.
"Lay her down, Juuyon-taichou."

It was a reflexive question, he was sure the 4th Division medics could handle something like this but he just couldn't help but ask.

In a swirl of wind outside the barracks arrived the Kidou Chief, his purple robes settling from the sudden ceasing of movement. As he arrived he let his reaitsu flow into him until it was nonexistent so as to not disturb those who were receiving and giving medical care inside the barracks.
From there, the Kidou Chief proceeded to walk forward until he entered the barracks. His eyes scanned the building until he found a nearby shinigami and he said, "Excuse me, but may I speak with Hokoe-taichou, please?"

"She should be in her office, Commander," the shinigami replied.
Sure enough, that's where Hokoe was. She sat at her desk, flipping through the mass of information that had been presented to her. It was the status of every patient currently within the facility. Many of the pages had stated the patient in question had been discharged, which was always nice to see. A smile was plastered on his face as he looked to each person who saw him on his way to speak with Hokoe.

Figuring the medical captain was rather busy he assumed he should just get down to business. "I was wondering if I could ask you a question." He wasn't really sure if Hokoe would be willing to answer any questions, or if she'd wait to see what the question was first.

"I knew me publicly condoning the laws would splinter the Captains , but still it feels wrong to see them splinting already..it goes against everything I had worked for...to create a family" He let out a deep sigh.
"Yet it cant be help , this is for the greater good , oh how I hate saying that" He hated when people would say its for the greater good but this time it actually was the laws needed to be changed , if the soul society was to take a path of light
"What do you two feel should be done? Where should we go next , How should we get there?" Tokuzen asked.
It was very rare , no unheard of that the Head Captain acted so vulnerable in front of anyone and on top of it all he was asking questions like he was clueless , as if he was the student. Tokuzen had always acted so assured of his wisdom yet humbly almost always knowing the out come or advice he would get so for him to be acting this way was indeed very strange. Hokoe sat in silence for a few moments. Her gaze fell down to her hands as she readjusted them and looked back up. "At this point, I think all we can do is take this civilly. We can do our best to take a correct course in convincing the Central 46. You can be as strict as you are able in your power to keep those within the divisions that oppose the movement in check, for you are the Head Captain after all. What I mean by this is keeping them on performing their duties. If they stray, take correct action. Even captains are not free to do as they please." They had to have those limiters if they were not given permission to use their full power, for instance. There were many ways to keep such troublesome situations from reoccurring.
She paused briefly before continuing. "Otherwise, I fear the only civil action that will remain is something of a civil war." Hokoe's tone lowered at the end.

Any thoughts Neriki?" Tokuzen said asking more questions , seemingly looking for guidance. There were ways to bypass the limiters or at least Command. One would be not to have one at all or go right too central 46 for releases command , both possible and just as nerve wracking.

Neriki brought his hand up and scratched his chin as he pondered the information that was presented to him. "Perhaps there was no release of the limiters? That could be possible as well," his words seemed to fill the room as they bounced from wall to wall until Neriki began to speak again.
"I do feel, though, that Hokoe-taichou's course of action seems to be the best. At this point, going directly to Central 46 would be the wisest thing we could do; however, you would need the support of several of your captains before moving forward." Finishing his thoughts he let his hand return to a limp position at his side.
With Tokuzen's revelation of trust towards he and Hokoe he began to wonder if it would be wise to reveal to the medical captain of his abilities as a visored.

He knew he could trust one other outside of this room but bringing him to a into this a front leader would be dangerous , considering he was captain who was also a Vizard. This was obviously Yukito , one of Tokuzen's closest captains and Friends. Out side of him maybe Captains Kendo and Tsuneo who would hopfully bring the support of the Kuchiki , they might share in this goal of changing the law.

"I am not sure what we can do with the previous situation but learn from it," Hokoe began, "because for quite a while, captains and vices have been going without the limiters. It is a rule that has not been enforced in sometime. Perhaps it is time for that to change." Granted, big fights in the human world often meant shinigami were going straight from Soul Society to the human world--so no use of limiters--but the laziness that ensued from such, flowing into it not applying to ordinary visits, allowed these problems.
"As for speaking with the Central 46, the choice of who would be every captain, maybe all those interested in doing so, I'd say." What was she getting at? "If we create a group of those supporting, it is likely it will raise suspicions and lead to something of a civil war. However, if we merely all took the time to voice our opinions, those pro and anti--similar to what was done in the previous meeting--what can be suspected? I do not recall anyone ever being locked up for their opinion." Or at least, not in Soul Society.

Neriki didn't really know what to say so that was just what he did, said nothing. He simply nodded his head to indicate that was still listening and in response to Hokoe's words. She seemed to be on the right track for the most part, so he would remain silent. What really kept running through his mind, though, was why was he here? He was no longer tied to the Court Guard Squads. He was still bound by Central 46, but even if the Court Guard Squads did oppose, Neriki couldn't join them without the full support of the Kidou Corps. OOC: Ugh not to be a bugger and not RP this out but yeah getting all the captains together is way , way to hard and I really rather not try it again :/.
Tokuzen listened intently as the 4th division captain spoke "Would that even be allowed? To so such a presences before Central 46 couldn't it be taken the wrong way? Like we are possibly starting a Coup De Tat before even one word is even spoken." He said.
"Maybe we need certain leaders , say no more then three , then those three bring this issue to central 47?" Tokuzen suggested. "This way they knew were at least three stand , and from there can make decisions , and after there decisions have been made we can see where everyone falls? I mean maybe Central 46 will think like us and with there support captains will simply fallow?" He asked.
"What are you thinking Neriki?" Tokuzen could not help but notice that his friend was being quite quit.

Outside the shadows on the walks began converging together, morphing into a humanoid figure, which began to exhibit physical features. Soon the manifested humanoid features became clear. It was the Taichou of the Twelfth Division. Particles of dark matter fluttered off the tail of his robes, which billowed in the cool breeze that passed through the Seireitei.
Kendo pulled down on the crimson scarf wrapped around his neck, knocking on the large doors of the Fourth's barracks. A lowly-seated squad member who was nearby, opened up the door. "Kendo-taichou?" She asked, bewildered. "Good evening. I'd like to speak with your captain please, if you'd allow me," he said.
"Of course, Kendo-taichou. Right this way~" Letting the captain in, Kendo followed behind the seat member, until they reached Hokoe-taichou's office. "She's in there, but I think she's busy with other captains who happened to drop by," she said, not really sure. "It's okay. That makes my job easier. Thank you," he said. With that the seated member left, and Kendo was left standing at the door.
Curling a fist, Kendo knocked on the door.

"I do not think they are so quickly frightened by our presence, but if you are so fearful, dear Head Captain, perhaps just submit the dilemma and offer that they can talk to any of us for individual opinions. You may mention that we all have different views." Hokoe brought her hands down to her lap. "I do think we may not be able to solve this as rapidly as you may have promised. We may just need to start small, making sure that the hollow power rules do not apply to humans who acquire them, then build on from there."
The knock at the door came at the end of her words. "It seems our time here may have come to an end. Perhaps it is for the best, then we may have time to think over our words thus far."
Turning to the door, the captain said, "Come in," and awaited to see who it might be.

Neriki listened to what Hokoe had to say, and when she finished he was about to comment when that gentle knock at the door came. With the end of their meeting signaled by that knock, and Hokoe's proclamation of its end, Neriki turned towards the door and began to exit. He didn't want to get caught up in anymore official business for the day and he figured he could go get a nice nap in.
Stepping out of the room he passed Kendo with a kind wave and then was quickly out of the 4th Division barracks headed back to the Kidou Corps HQ.

It could not be seen for Tokuzen had been looking directly to the floor so only the top of his head and face were visible , but a ever so faint smile came to his lips. "How they grow" he said under his breath. He could not help but hear that there was some sharpness to Lady Hokoe's words , what really showed it was the use of Dear Head Captain. This made him happy , even if it was passive aggressive yet everyone works differently thus its respectable.
He slowly stood up lifting himself using his knees as leverage , "Lady Hokoe I believe your treatment method on theory one is the correct one , yes yes that is it..Ill leave it all in your hands , simply call me if needed and dont worry if the first theory does not play out and it needs changing , I have faith in you" He said as he walked to the door after neriki.
Tokuzen knew that Lady Hokoe would be able to translate his code talk , for Tokuzen had just left the entire Vizard situation in Lady Hokoes hands , he has faith in her wisdom and ability to handle such a high level situation. He would be there if she had any questions or need advice , or pretty much anything. Tokuzen was indeed acting strange to first be so clueless and now to place something so substantial in the hands of a single captain.
Tokuzen had exited the room after Neriki giving a smile to Kendo before vanishing , giving chase to Neriki.

Kendo eyebrow rose a bit. What were the Head Captain and the Kido Captain doing in there? For the Head Captain to be there, it seemed the discussion was important, for whatever matter it was. He was left to wonder. Either way, as they left the room he greeted his fellow captain and Head Commander with a smile, before entering the office of Hokoe. “Good Evening, Hokoe-taichou. Hokoe let out a sigh. She had no intention of taking things into her hands and organization. She was just talking ideas. She would speak with Tokuzen later. She could not help what he took her words as implying, but she would have to straighten that out.
"Oh no," Hokoe said politely as seemingly always, "we were just finishing up our little chit chat. Please, have a seat." She gestured to one of the chairs before her desk, should Kendo desire to use one. "Is there something I can help you with?" She sat with her hands folded on the desk as she waited to find out the reason Kendo dropped on by.

Selene had been in the 4th barracks for a long time now and finally she was given a clean bill of health to leave the barracks and to return to her 12th squad duties, so long as she took it easy on the physical exertion for a few days. It wasn't long before she had walked free from the barracks and out into the fresh air of the Seireitei to return to her work as the third seat of the twelfth division.

“No I’d rather stand, but thank you for the offer,” Kendo responded, “and what brings me here is a matter that’s been piquing me for a while.” He started, bringing his hand up towards his head and rubbing through the streak of black follicles.
“I’ve recently been interviewed by two captains. An old-time captain and an acquaintance of mine, Satoshi, and that new captain, whatever-his-name-is,” he said, not bothering to remember his name. “They said that they were investigating recent news of visored activity, and I was confused. Because of this happened, us captain’s would of been notified. And some hollow nonsense went down, so I did some research but I found nothing, and I’m coming to you asking if you’ve been interviewed or anything? I’m sure I’m not the only one to hear of this,” he continued, “and plus, you’re one of the more neutral captains here. Well, now what was all being talked about previously made sense. "You are correct in saying that there are no official investigations taking place. It would probably be for the best if you informed the Head Captain of this, for there may be something else occurring. It is highly suspicious activity." “Indeed it is,” Kendo sighed, scratching his head. Today was just packed with unwanted stress. He’d closed his eyes briefly, before opening them to gaze at Hokoe. “So do you know where the Head Captain may be heading to? "I am not certain." Neither Tokuzen nor Neriki had told Hokoe of where they were going. "However, I am sure his division would know of his approximate whereabouts. If the Head Captain has left to the human world, the Kidou Corps members at the Senkaimon should know where he headed." That was the standard way to leave Soul Society, and the Kidou Corps always had some members there to be guards of the gates. They ran the Senkaimon.

A single senkaimon opened before the doors of the barracks as Neriki stepped from it. Neriki nodded as he took to the nearest chairs. His knees bending as he sat and his hands came out to be clasped before him. "Well then, what exactly would you like to know," inquired Neriki as his eyes moved from his hands up to the face of the fourth division captain. It would be simple to just start at the beginning of this very long tale but he figured he would let Hokoe decide what he was to tell.

She didn't move to heal him just yet. Hokoe would wait to hear what this was all about. She wanted to trust her fellow shinigami, but with all the happenings, this talk of Neriki getting executed made her think twice about acting as if things were as they always were, because it was clear that they weren't. "l would appreciate it if you started from an appropriate beginning, but do as you feel is most adequate."

"Then I guess I should start at the point where things began," said Neriki as he closed his eyes to pull up that distant memory. It was a long time ago, not by Soul Society standards, but Neriki still remembered it just like those events were yesterday. Finally, once he had everything in mind he let out a deep sigh and began to speak with his eyes still closed.
"It all started not long after I became the Hachibantai Taichou," said Neriki with a kind tone as he recalled the day he had been promoted to that spot as a captain in the Court Guard Squads but it seemed he didn't have too much time to dwell on the past. "At that time there had been several reports of a Vasto Lordes in the material world and I was sent to deal with it along with my Vice-captain, Miwa," at the mention of this long forgotten shinigami Neriki's tone seemed to turn sad.
"Together we went and eventually confronted the hollow. It was a vicious battle, Hokoe," Neriki said as he finally opened those coal colored eyes of his to look at the person who was listening to his story. They were filled with sadness at this point as he was now forced to recall the brutal death that his subordinate had met. "Everything seemed to be going fine at first, but then Miwa was struck down by that hollow. She died on the spot, and even if she hadn't there was nothing to be done for her at that time."
A single tear rolled down the right side of his face as he relived that death that he had witnessed right before his eyes. "At the same time she was killed that hollow hit me with something, I don't know what, and it wasn't long before the battle was over. From that day on, I've been what I am today." He paused to take in a deep breath before he locked eyes with Hokoe once more.
"A visored," was the last thing Neriki said. Those two words came out in a shallow whisper that were barely audible but surely Hokoe had picked them up seeing as the room was silent sans for Neriki's story. How would Hokoe react to this revelation? Would she turn against him here and now?

Hokoe was silent, and her demeanor didn't seem to change even in the slightest. She listened to every word all the way to the very end. "Neriki-kido...." she started before halting her speech entirely. The Fourth Division captain seemed to be known for always having just the right thing to say, but here she stood without anything but that man's name and half of an honorific.
"I'm sorry for your loss," she began, as she looked across the desk and straight into Neriki's eyes. "I'm sorry for what happened to your vice and for the rough path you have been forced to tread." She meant every word, but to Hokoe it felt like those words meant nothing as they came out. Words couldn't fix any of this.

Captain Sakoshita entered the room shortly afterward. Hokoe drew her zanpakutou from its sheath. "Feather dance, Ren-ou." A third of the katana glowed a golden color, then seemed to shatter and explode into feathers around the division captain. They didn't hang in the air very long as Hokoe directed them to Neriki with her hand. As each feather landed on the wounded shinigami, they turned into golden flames, which began to heal the wounds on him.

Slanting his eyes downward he watched the flames work along his body as they healed the wounds he had received.

Kafziel and his younger sister made their way to the 4th division barracks in a companionable silence, like was usual between the both of them. The sound of their sandals clicking on the floor was the only indication of their arrival as they stopped to stand before the 4th Division Captain's cabin. Kafziel gave two soft knocks on the door, then stepped back, patiently awaiting a response of some kind. He couldn't detect the Captain's reiatsu however, and wondered if she was inside.
She had summoned them, so he figured she'd be available soon, regardless, because she was the sort of person to keep her appointments. Besides, given the times, he didn't doubt that she was on a tight schedule and was probably out on a commitment of some kind.

Kuchiki Kasumi held herself with a certain pride that cemented her status as a member of one of the 4 Great Noble Families. Regality had been ingrained into her lifestyle since youth. Still, her stature showed more of a subdued pride; one crafted less on ego, but on foundations of dignity and honor. It mirrored her brother's quite well. Kas bowed respectfully to Hokoe as she entered the barracks, her face alighted with a pleasant smile.
She followed her brother into the Taichou's office, patiently awaiting the reason for their summons. For now, she was silent.

"Indeed I did," Hokoe said in response. The captain's eyes looked to both of the Kuchiki faces before her. No one else was around to hear their words. Her reiatsu-sensing ensured it. "I was hoping to arrange for me to have tea with you at your estate." Or at least the ashes of it, anyway. "I have an important matter I must discuss with you before your family acts on repairs. However, it requires of you to seek full responsibility of repair management from your clan, prior to our meeting, as well as sending your family and others away from the area." It sounded like a rather secretive get-together.

The noble, attentive as ever, didn't miss a word the amiable Captain said and also didn't fail to consider possible implications and indications. He was analytical by nature. The sincerity of her words doused his initial wave of skepticism but did nothing to quell his inherent curiosity.
But as in everything, patience was key. So he patiently listened and then replied after some thinking of his own, carefully weighing his words, "I believe that can be arranged, Sakoshita-taicho," the elder Kuchiki began slowly, "but I'm afraid you'll have to give me a day. Day after or any day after that - to your convenience - would be well suited for our meeting at the Estate - or what's left of it, anyway," he finished, each word spoken clearly, without a hint of hurry. He didn't even wince at the last part.
After the defection of their traitorous Clan Head, Kafziel was pretty much handling affairs at the Estate currently, so it wouldn't be difficult for him to arrange a meeting and wrestle out an agreement to meet the fourth division captain's request. But to mobilize the clan members and make them leave, it would take a day. Hence his request to the Captain.

"Understood, Taicho," the Kuchiki nodded curtly, a model of the fine etiquette that was expected of him being part of the great noble family. He excused himself, with a few final parting words. "We'll be on our way then, Taicho. I'll send word as soon as arrangements are complete," he turned around with that, knowing Kasumi wouldn't be far behind him as he moved to step out the door.
He was very curious about the amiable 4th Division Captain's intentions and the purpose behind the highly secretive meeting, but he didn't let his curiosity get the better of him. His better judgment told him to be patient. He'd find out soon enough.
He was, however, surprised by his ever curious sister's silence. Maybe she was saving queries for later, or maybe she'd become more of a Kuchiki than he'd cared to note. Strangely, the latter left a sour taste in his mouth.

"You are most certainly welcome, Neriki-soushi," Hokoe said, politely as always, to the man before her. "Do be wary in the future." Hokoe had already made her mind up on how to handle the situation. She would do as she had done in the past and say not a word. Was it not doctor-patient confidentiality? Regardless, Hokoe did what was within her power for what she thought was right, and in this case, it was to not act upon the situation.

Neriki made no response other than simply nodding his head. With their conversation over, Neriki strode from Hokoe's office and into the main quarters of the the fourth division barracks. It was time that he returned to his duties as the commander of the Kidou Corps. Granted, he would eventually have to face Central 46 but today was not the day for that.

Hokoe finally rose out of her seat after a long look through medical records and other happenings of the Fourth Division. The in-patient rate was the lowest it had been in some time, Seireitei and the SS tunnels were spick and span. Everything seemed to be going well. The captain decided to brew herself some tea before heading out of her office to handle other affairs.

Before Hokoe could completely escape her office a series of quick knocks came at the door. Now who needed her? On the other side of the door, dressed in the traditional shinigami robes, was the fourth divisions fourth seat, Machida Jin. He waited patiently for Hokoe to give him permission to enter before sliding the door open.

"Come in," Hokoe said as she began heating up a kettle of water on the little burner she had in her office. It seemed she was getting a lot of outside visitors today, but judging from the reiatsu, that wasn't the case this time.

"Hello, Hokoe-taichou," said Jin as he entered Hokoe's office. As the fourth seat entered the office he slid the door back to its closed position. Tucked under his arm were a couple of papers. They detailed the few services they had rendered to Soul Society's ill today, but Jin wasn't there just to deliver his papers.

"Hello Jin-san," greeted the captain as she looked up from what she was doing. She noticed the papers that the shinigami carried with him. "What can I do for you?" she asked. Was this just a normal turn in of paperwork, or was it something more?
