Well, just so that everyone is informed I'm making this thread about certain upcoming changes to the Battledome.

1. Manga Battledome.
As you already know, we have a several official threads for certain popular fights. However, repeat threads of the same are made with different conditions which causes difficulty in organization. Therefore, we've come up with a solution:

There will be two types of threads: Official threads and Condition threads.
Official threads will be general in nature and allow you to discuss a certain general unbiased scenario concerning the characters, for example-
Itachi vs Jiraiya. The official thread for this will probably be based on who will win amongst the two fighters, without any restriction and with the abilities we've seen in the manga till they were last seen. This also saves us from unnecessary side debates like "If Itachi had been healthy then..."

Condition threads as the name indicates will have specific conditions specified by the OP. Again taking the same example-
Itachi vs Jiraiya. Then the OP can may be put a condition like: Itachi is healthy and it allows him to do this, this and this etc.

Starting today, I will begin certain editing procedures, in which the first post of an official thread shall be taken over by a mod, and the general conditions for the thread specified. I'm adopting this route instead of creating new threads to prevent deletion of the old threads in which there is a sizable chunk of everyone's posts and also to ensure that the

2. Subbed and Dubbed Battledome.
We've come to a decision that henceforth, spoilers won't be allowed in the subbed and dubbed sections, even in spoiler boxes as it defeats the section's purpose. If you are debating in spoiler boxes and giving manga evidence there, it being subbed/dubbed becomes useless.
Therefore, only anime evidence shall be used in dubbed and subbed sections. No talking manga or future stuff over there, 'kay? Not even in spoiler boxes.

Example-If in anime Naruto can use Suiton with his toads, then he CAN. No bringing up the manga.

Try and use the following format when creating a thread:

TITLE: X vs Y. Put "Conditions" or "Condition Thread" in brackets if you're making a thread with specific conditions.
Example-
Itachi vs Sasuke (Conditions)

Search "Official Thread" before making a battle. Chances are there's a already an existing thread and you are creating a duplicate.
If you find a similar thread but are interested in something different, make a new thread and specify your conditions and use the title format.
Never write "Official Thread" on your own when making a new thread for a new battle concerning new characters whose official thread doesn't exist. We'll decide if it merits an official thread label or not.

CONTENT:
Use this general format for the first post of your thread (or something similar):

Location:
Distance:
Abilities:
Restrictions:
Mindset:

If confused, feel free to refer to an existing Official Thread.

Thankyou for your patient read. Any suggestions, queries or complaints are welcome.

Your friendly BD Mod,
WhiteFang.

I suggest there should some kind of standard in cases where thread openers do not put so much details into their OPs (which is very often the case). For example, In-Character with PIS/CIS off in an area like a wide-open field sounds like a fairly neutral default setting when specific conditions aren't given.

Location can be edited whenever if the problem arises.
The characters are always in character unless specifically stated and no, bloodlusted is not out of character.

Also if you do like Fang originally put and capitalize the v in vs...>_<

Well, I think if something isn't specified, the posters can always move in and request the OP to specify what they want. IF they don't, there's always the mods who can make required changes to generate a plausible, neutral scenario.

Matt, explain again. xD Should I or shouldn't I capitalize the "V" in versus.
