Eastern coast [Lightning Country]

After the forests of the east lies an open space of rubble. This leads to the rock cliffs on one side. Under the cliffs lies a coast of mangrove's and the ocean.

When they apeared Jimbei was fine, he formed a seal and the chains dispersed into glowing chakra particles. He then slapped Raizo on the back of the head. "So much for resting, running solo into Kumogakure..." he said as he sighed, and stared walking away. "Finish her then go back to base and keep your word, you will come with us." he said as he formed one last seal..."See ya" he said as he shook violently before going with a pop.

Raizo was lucky that Shao had interfered. If not, he would have found himself under attack once again while in a defenceless stance. Katsumi took no prisoners, though she wouldn't of killed him right then. Even she couldn't kill someone with their arms raised innocently in the air... even if he was trying to deceive her, which he probably was. Oh well, Shao had stepped in and it didn't even matter now.

The skirmish between Shao and Raizo went by in a snap, not even long enough for Katsumi to find an opening. She had never fought alongside Shao so she didn't know his style, so trying to help would probably just end up hurting them. It was better to observe and study Raizo as he fought with Shao.

It was because she was focused on Raizo's movements that she had been captured, albeit briefly. The chains had wrapped through the entire group of clones and destroyed her clones by the time they reached her. At least they hadn't done anything, so all their chakra was returned to her. She also dispelled her Genjutsu. In the end very little chakra was lost, which was a good thing.

At first Katsumi was worried. The character that had taken them away from Kumogakure seemed powerful, and that made Katsumi throw away all her plans for a two on one fight. Fortunately he left seconds after bringing them here, so she wouldn't have to worry about that. It would have been an even fight, but she preferred to have the odds stacked in her favour. Now that the fight had turned back into a two on one, Katsumi was ready to go.

With her Byakūgan now activated, Katsumi held her arms up and shifted her feet into the Jūken stance. Her knees were slightly bent, lowering her level of gravity so that she was more stable. She had mastered this stance years ago, as had Shao as a fellow Hyūga. It gave them the ability to use Jūken to its fullest extent. If Raizo got stuck in close range with one or both of them he'd be screwed, especially since he no longer had his sword.

For now she waited, letting Shao or Raizo move first. Now that she had had enough time to cool off she realized that rushing someone of his level would be foolish. She had already gotten herself injured by doing so and didn't wish to get seriously hurt or even killed here. With her mind calm she was able to realize Raizo's identity, as well as their new location. She deduced that from their elevation and surroundings they were only a few miles outside of Kumo, but by the time backup found them and got to them the fight would already be over. Shao and Katsumi were alone.

"It's Raizo of the Uchiha clan," Katsumi whispered to Shao low enough for Raizo not to hear. It was always good to know who your enemy was, even if you didn't know much at all about them. Anything could give them the advantage. Although they still had the odds on their sides the fight could go either way. One Sharingan against two Byakūgan. One Uchiha against two Hyūga. Who would win in thsi clash of Clans and Doūjutsu!?

Unfortunately for Katsumi and Shao, their two on one advantage was just wiped out. The great and powerful Fumei had now arrived! He had just teleported from Ryuukigakure and was almost completely healed from his last battle that had taken place a few days ago. He was ready to collect Katsumi's body and add it to his, and later Ryuuki's, collection. However, he had not expected to find his prey already engaged in battle!

Fumei looked toward Raizo and identified him immediately. He had observed Raizo in the past and knew that he was a good, solid fighter, though nothing special in the grand scheme of things. Still, he would prove a powerful temporary ally in this fight, hopefully anyway.

"Uchiha," he said, hoping to preserve his identity just in case the two Shinobi from Kumo hadn't figured it out. He had seen that Katsumi and Shao were Byakūgan users and knew that they would be able to see Raizo's Sharingan, so using his surname revealed nothing. "Shall we?" He asked enthusiastically while cracking his knuckles.

Fumei didn't wait for an answer from Raizo before attacking. He wove the tiger seal, quickly followed by the dog seal, a process which took less than a second. In fact, the sudden inhalation of air took twice as long. Fumei exhaled in a snap movement, releasing a sphere about a foot in diameter of pure Fūton Chakra, followed by three concentric circles taking up dozens of feet. The attack would completely blow a person apart if it hit directly, but the waves behind it were still powerful. The range and complexity of the attack would make it hard to dodge and nearly impossible to block for Katsumi and Shao. That wasn't enough for Fumei, however. He needed to follow up this attack to make it even harder for the two Kumo Nin.

With the use of Shunshin no Jutsu, Fumei appeared behind Shao holding Tamashī Shinreī in both hands, aiming it at Shao's lower back. Fumei was a master of Kenjutsu and this attack would show it. 'Kyōi O Sasu' Fumei stabbed out at Shao a dozen times in quick succession, not letting up. Hopefully the first one would kill him, but if not it would be difficult to dodge or block them all. With the size and strength of his sword blocking it would be hell and practically as bad as getting hit by it, but if he tried to dodge then it would be extremely difficult because Fumei's first attack was still flying toward him. Fumei had left absolutely no time to deal with the first attack before the second attack. What would he do?

Fumei was fighting no amateur here. Shao was a high level ninja and the strongest in Kumogakure at the current time if not second, he wouldn't lose easy and his speed was his man strength, while Fumei moved, he saw it easily and it was nothing special, the moment he moved, Shao drew out his sword swinging it sending a raw of fire to burn the wind aimed at him while he formed one seal breathing fire in a flamethrower style jutsu to back it up. He then stood letting him come at him as to observe him. The movements through the air made a noise as Fumei cut through it. Shao was not risking a long battle as a cursed seal covered him, as he turned, drawing out his blade stopping Fumei's on the first strike. The power behind the blade was a lot and Shao couldn't hold for long as he jumped back before lightning started to cover his body in a armour and the blade grew ablaze as fire was surrounding it.

He was roaring, the lightning took little chakra and raised his abilities while the seal gave him chakra. Shao then waited, he wasn't going to rush in. His chakra's ablaze, he was a beast, he then stared at him. "More rats start apearing, are you with Ryuuki? Or Hakumei? Or with that man who was here? I know you ain't with him..." he said sighing. Shao's power could be felt by Fumei, this battle was gonna last long and Shao had the advantage, the sky was dark and the moon was not showing, he doubted fumei could see in the dark. Everyone besides him had a doujutsu to help them see each other, they were fighting with cool and before the Kumo lights helped, now they were in a desolate land near the coast, the water was about 1km away, its sounds could be heard when silent.

Fumei could see the light envoloped around shao, a beacon to attack but his speed made it hell. His view to others was like a flame wavering in the dark room. Not quite sure if it was here or there when it moved, the mind being played upon.

Although Fūton was weak against Katon, this was a little different. Fumei's attack was powerful and wouldn't be stopped by just flames. Sure, it diminished the strength of the attack, but it was stilling headed straight for Shao. He'd have to do better than that against this opponent or he would get himself killed in no time.

"Raiton eh? That won't protect you from me," Fumei smirked. He had really lucked out on this one. Shao was obviously a Raiton user, and everyone knew Fūton was stronger than Raiton. Therefore his Raiton Armour wouldn't help him at all here. Fumei's Fūton attacks would go right through it.

Six seals were created as Fumei wove his fingers together in a complex patter for his next Jutsu. This wouldn't be an attack, but it would help him in the fight. Shao's thinking was right. Fumei was at a major disadvantage compared to the other three fighters. He didn't have a Dōjutsu, and couldn't see as well as the others at night. He was still a ninja though, but he preferred to be on even ground with the others.

Instead of targeting Shao or Katsumi, he sent his fireballs toward the forest. They caught fire in the branches and burned brightly, lighting the area and sending a huge plume of smoke into the starry sky.

Fumei wove the Dog hand seal in less than an instant and brought his hand to his mouth, forming a circle with his thumb and first finger. This was only to make his attack more accurate. Fumei took in a quick breath and exhaled, following the procedure of a thousand Fūton Jutsu. This time, however, the attack took the form of several long bullets. "Your Raiton won't help you here, Shao!" Fumei shouted laughing. Of course he was taunting Shao, why not? It would be good for him if he got Shao angry. That would make him make mistakes, mistakes that could give Fumei an opening to kill him. This fight was life or death, no holds barred. Which side would come out on top?

Rather than standing there and allow Shao to waste more chakra against Fumei's first attack, Katsumi decided to defend against it and save him the trouble. She knew from rumour and stats that only she had access to as adviser that Shao was stronger than she was, so would let him take the lead during this fight.

To slow down the attack even more she used a standard Fūton Jutsu, creating a large gale of wind which blew at the incoming attack. It managed to do just that, slow it down. The attack was much stronger than Katsumi had thought, and she wasn't prepared.

She tried to spin but couldn't get her rotation going fast enough. What was left of the attack slammed into her half-formed dome of chakra. That ripped apart the initial blast, but it wasn't enough to fully protect her. It slammed against her chest, sending her flying into a tree where the bark split from the force of the impact. Likely several of her ribs were broken, and her lungs were definitely bruised. Shit.

Katsumi coughed up blood as she stepped away from the tree, brushing off chunks of bark from her bruised back. She looked at Shao with a determined look on her face. She knew that she had made a mistake, but she was determined not to make another one again. A second mistake might be more costly.

ooc: Don't underestimate the jutsu's, the cursed seal makes it stronger as seen with sasuke and naruto.

Shao gazed at him with a cold look, he then turned as he used Shunshin to appear in front of Katsumi moving faster than before. His speed now was amazing. The Raiton armour made his synapes fire faster and the cursed seal boasted his initial speed. His chakra pool was amazing, this juuin jutsu was powerful. As the attack's came, Shao formed a few seals as he shot several Katon bullets which burned the wind bullets. "You fool!" he said to Katsumi. "You think this cursed seal doesn't make my flames burn more, you think that was gonna harm me." he said to her in a sad tone, she got involved with the big boys and got hurt. Within another move he was moving at Fumei with this crazy speed, all he would see is a blur of lightning. Shao then formed a seal as a dog of lightning shot out, this was to trick Fumi who would still be seeing a blur of light and make his move to defend quick, letting shao come from behind with a elbow. The time was fast and his reaction would be fast to stop the first, if he didn't then it would paralyze him and leave him open to the elbow which would send him flying, breaking the tree behind.

Raizo had watched the entire scenery unfold in front of him. Instead of partaking like he should he crouched down, placing his hands on the ground as he watched as both fighters fought one another. Then, as soon as they started his peripheral vision caught an image of Katsumi fly off into the forest below them. "Such a pitiful girl," he muttered to himself, as he turned around.

"Now that she injured herself further, this makes my job a whole lot easier." he smiled. Raizo somersaulted off the edge of the rocky mountain-like area, and landed couple feet behind Shao, and a few meters in front of Katsumi. "Let's make this quick," he said, walking over to her with his hands at his side. His crimson-colored sharingan glistening through the darkness. If she glanced once, Katsumi would be caught in a genjutsu and the odds would be swung in his favor. If she didn't, then fuck..he'd have to continue this fight.

Unfortunately for Katsumi, she wasn't prepared for a Genjutsu at all. She was acting on instinct here, and that meant turning around to the presence she felt behind her and attack! Katsumi spun around and lashed out with a backhanded punch, but her eyes flew right to Raizo's Sharingan. Now she was caught in a Genjutsu and she didn't even know! With Fumei busy fighting Shao there wasn't a good chance that she would have help breaking it, so for now she was at the mercy of Raizo. What would he do?

Fumei was the only one here without the aid of a Dōjutsu, and that was a major hindrance. He wouldn't let that hold him back but it still put him at a disadvantage. As Shao came rushing at him all he could see was a blur of light. He had to let his instincts take control or he wouldn't be able to react fast enough, so he was distracted by Shao's Jutsu.

'Fūton: Shinkūha' (http://images.wikia.com/naruto/images/e/ee/Wind_Release-_Vacuum_Wave.png) Fumei created a wave of Fūton blades that tore through the Raiton dog like a hot knife through butter. Unfortunately, he only barely saw Shao's blur out of the corner of his eye. He shifted to the side but it wasn't enough to fully evade the attack. Fumei was hit in the side of his back and sent flying a dozen feet. He rolled across the ground for another dozen feet before his inertia ran out and he stepped back up.

Fumei wove seven hand seals for his next attack. Fumei bent his knees and dug his heels into the ground to keep his balance. It was all in the stance... He finally used the Jutsu, blowing out a stream of searing hot flames. 'Katon: Karyū Endan' (http://images.wikia.com/naruto/images/b/b1/Fire_Release_Fire_Dragon_Flame_Missile.png) The enourmous flames split into three separate streams. The first and most powerful flew toward Shao head on and the other two, slightly smaller, flew a bit to the side to hit Shao on his left and right. If Shao stepped back the three streams would collide and the first stream would win, so he would still get burned.

The moment he hit Fumei Shao stepped back, luckly he was super proficient in Katon as well, through his eyes he saw him form the seals and the chakra moving up. Without thinking, he deativated the Raiton armour, making him disappear as he formed the seals. Zukokku, was the jutsu he used. He then spat out a ball which moved slowly as Shao Jumped back into the tree using his cursed seal infused speed. As the Jutsu's collided, a huge explosion occured in the area which formed a burning sphere. Both Raizo and Katsumi were in the firing line as well as Fumei. Shao moved back a great distance, since he could still use his Byakugan, while Fumei was down to touch and hearing. Now that the air was smelling of ash.

Shao then looked to see if Raizo moved and pulled Katsumi or left her in the line of fire, trying to save him self and if Fumei was harmed.

Raizo eyebrow rose at the sudden flash of light that illuminated the air. So he turned around and was slapped in the face by the heat of fire approaching his area. Oh shit! He moved as fast as he could to escape the explosion, while simultaneously ending the illusion he captured Katsumi in. If he hadn't done that, then he would of been caught. Thankfully, he did though. But the same wouldn't go for Katsumi. Would she be caught in the flames, or would she narrowly escape by rescue or through her own actions? What would she do?

Damn, this really just wasn't Katsumi's day... Distracted by the sudden release of the Genjutsu cast upon her by Raizo she was not able to react qucikly enough to escape from the flames' radius. She was caught in the flames with not a single way to lessen the damage. She was totally screwed now, and so was Shao, most likely. That's if he even stayed after she died, a two on one wasn't his style at all. He'd probably just go back to Kumogakure without a single thought about her, not that she cared. She didn't even like him.

Meanwhile, Katsumi was thinking about none of this. She was thinking about her life, how quickly she had raced through the ranks of the Shinobi, showing promise and fulfuilling it at the same time. Her family had been so proud of her, especially when she had been promoted to Adviser at such a young age, something that hadn't happened in years.

She remembered that scene, where she met the Raikage personally for the first time. It seemed like only days ago, though it had been over two years. She hardly did her job anyway, though. She was always off doing something else and leaving the Raikage to do his own business.

That's what she regretted the most as her life flashed before her eyes, not doing enough work. Maybe if she had payed more attention and put more work into her life then she wouldn't be in this situation now. But maybe not, maybe it was just destined to be, her death at such a young age. If only she had been able to make more of an impact. She was only dust in the wind at this point....

As the flames blew through the trees they revealed Katsumi, severely burned. She fell the ground on her knees, though she managed to stay at that level. She was holding on to the last inch of her life, not giving up. The fat lady was warming up, but she hadn't sung yet! Katsumi rose her head and perpared to stand, mustering all the strength she had left, until-

Fumei flew out of nowhere, brandishing his signature weapon. In a split second he dropped it diagonally across Katsumi's neck, severing her head from her body. It fell to the scorched ground and rolled a couple feet before coming to a stop. Her eyes were wide open in shock. A moment later gravity overtook her body and brought it to the ground as well.

Fumei stood over her decapitated corpse with a smile, though Katsumi's blood now covered his face. He was simply ecstatic! He had easily evaded the blast, using his Kekkei Genkai and a Fuuton technique to take to the air in time. By the time he had fallen back to the ground Katsumi had succumbed to the attack. Shao had killed his own partner! It was comical, and Fumei indeed laughed.

He looked to Shao and spoke aloud. "You can just leave now, I won't follow you. However, I can't speak for him," he said, gesturing toward Raizo. As he spoke he began to work on Katsumi's body. He quickly sealed her body into a scroll and deposited it into a pocket as if it were a watch or some other every day item, not a fresh cadaver.

Her head, however, he grabbed by the hair and swung several times, high off his kill. "Look what I did! Look what I did!!" he shouted incrediously as he danced in a circle, jumping up and down. It would be up to Raizo if he wished to continue fighting Shao, but Fumei was out! Two down, one to go. He left the area in search of a tag to return to Ryuukigakure.

Shao was pissed, the thoughts that raced through his head. He had no connection to Katsumi but fought to protect her, she was a fellow Kumo member, a fellow Hyuuga and also the advisor of one of Shao's only friends. He wasnt going to let this end so quickly, the moment the flames died down, shao with the curse seal into level two would no blitz Fumei, being faster before. But the distance was the killer, while he ran, he was to late, Fumai sliced her neck. Shao's mind went into overdrive, no more thinking just acting. He could have beat him but he let Fumei run the fight. The moment he sealed her, Shao was 2m away, Fumei busy with dancing, Shao sent a wall of chakra towards him which would knock him back into the ground, as he could not see the attack or know of it, he was gonna get hit bad. He was in his rage now, this whole fight he never showed one Hyuuga skill, but Shao was one of the more skilled Hyuuga's in the world. Developing a Nin-taijutsu, using Juuken and his ninjutsu. This was about tip the scales of the battle.

He was in cursed seal level two, his skin was gray and thick and he had bat like wings on him, his speed and strength was amazing and his eyes still white. The thoughts in his head was how could he let her die, not thinking before in this land which he was a guardian of. He would not let this stand or give Fumei any second to dissapear.

Raizo stepped back, camouflaged by a tree he managed to jump behind before the backlash of flames touched him. He only caught a glimpse of what happened to Katsumi after he dispelled the genjutsu, and was ready to take advantage of her misfortune of not escaping, until he witnessed what happened after. And frankly, he was pissed! How could this freak take his kill? More importantly, when he was battling the bitch, not him! Man, people just love taking other people's kills nowadays, don't they?

But it couldn't be helped. What's done is done. At least Fumei managed to divert the attention from Raizo to himself. He got on Shao's bad side and was going to pay for it, or so he thought. But, hey! If matters couldn't get worst, Anbu were on the way! Three or four Kumo-nins were on their way towards the site. Meanwhile, others were behind them, but these three-to-four in particular were way ahead of them. One of them had a wolf with them, and from what Raizo was observing they were using this wolf to hunt down the intruders that attacked one of their own. Ah, pooey! Well, I guess it was time to leave!

Raizo couldn't stay there and wait, after all, he didn't want to get captured, not yet anyway. He was just having fun! So he dipped~ Running after them, Raizo removed the air resistance around himself and jetted towards them, manipulating the air to propel him to Fumei, and Shao who was chasing him. It would be a while before he hit him, but hopefully if Fumei managed to escape he would allow Raizo to follow him.

Fumei was indeed hit by the wave of chakra, throwing him to the ground. Luckily it didn't physically affect him much, just messing with his Chakra. He could deal with that, he could speed up time a little if need be to get his Chakra back to 100%. For now, though, that was unnecessary.

Fumei rolled back up and prepared to attack Shao, who now appeared very devilish, but he wouldn't have that opportunity. Just as he stashed away his blade he was teleported out of the area in a flash! Shao was lucky and unlucky at the same time. He wouldn't have to die this way, but he wouldn't have a chance at revenge for slaying Katsumi... Oh well, that was not Fumei's concern. He was about to have much more important things to think about...

Shao landed punching the ground where Fumei just was, he then got up, he then wripped the wrappings on his face, he was pissed..Fumei would now be the target of his, he wouldn't stop till he killed him. He would show him just how terrible he was and why he was known to be such. He then formed a few seals, getting one last look on the area as he disappeared back to Kumo. He failed himself and the village, letting them two fools enter and mock him like this. He would go to bury her in the Kumo graveyard well write her name to the list.
