Earth, 3131.

After a war between the two great kingdoms of Arameth and Daagohr, the planet has been fractured into multiple pieces, floating through space, loosely held together by the sun-like core below, and the Mother Rune deep within. With 3 large pieces making up the majority of the fractured world - countless other small 'Islands' making up the rest - travel is at times difficult, with only a few islands having bridges connecting them, and others only reachable via Rune Ships, more isolated and less-lively.

With the Three Kingdoms set on the three largest pieces of Earth - the vast climate of the nation of Varia, in which sits Arameth; the forested nation of Dren, wherein lies Daagohr; and the mountainous region of land known as Tenyo, where the Kingdom of Masayoshi sits nestled within a vast range of green mountains - the rest of the nations remain filled with small villages here and there, but is largely untapped natural beauty.

Our story begins in the 'Central Island' of Aldaron. A small, neutral nation about the size of Texas and a third of California, a rough circle in its shape, sitting in the center of the 3 great nations. Sometimes referred to as "The Fourth Great Nation", it remains classified as an island, and remains neutral in the affairs of the other nations. However, it is seen as the "Capitol Island", with all the islands being put under the national name of "Aldaron", with each individual island named after its largest, and sometimes only, village, the Island of Aldaron not withstanding.

The central island itself has a large fresh-water lake in its center, roughly 200 miles across, in the center of which a smaller 10 mile island sits, the tiny village of Alaea. It is there that Miyamoto Takuma lives, and it is there that the leaders of the 3 Great Nations have been called to meet with the Angel to discuss their next move against Belial...

-----------------------------------------

The room was bright. To either wall were large, stained glass windows, depicting romanticized images of the Angels sans Belial, and a large round skylight was situated in the center of the ceiling, directly above the circular table around which the four guests of honor sat, the light cast onto the dark oak table in the shape of a lotus flower, the metal frame of the window having been designed after Aldaron's signature plant.

Around the table were four chairs, one for each leader of the Great Nations and one for Takuma. While his seat was a plain one, oak and without any distinguishing marks - simple, for a simple man - the other three were semi-lavish, almost thrones. To Takuma's right, his back to the West Wall, sat Crimson, King of Daagohr. To Takuma's left, his back to the East, King Edominus of Masayoshi. And directly in front of Takuma, Crimson to their left, sat Arameth's enigmatic leader, only very recently chosen by the people to lead.

"Quite the rarity for the three of you to be gathered here, isn't it?" Takuma began. "I only wish it could've been under less dire circumstances. I'm sure I have no reason to recap recent events, but just to make sure we're clear on the details..." The Angel began, adjusting his glasses.

"Three weeks ago, Belial returned from his banishment to The Nether Reaches, thousands of years sooner than the rest of us Angels had anticipated. On return, he killed Tobias, creator and defender of the Mother Rune which holds our planet - however loosely - together. Then, utilizing the Rune of the Fallen Daagonian King, Aheperael, he began the arduous task of corrupting and destroying the Mother Rune, with the intent of wiping all life off the face of the Earth, and destroying the planet forever." He began.

"Even with as potent a Rune as Aheperael's, and as much skill as Belial's, this is no simple task... the world is already starting to see effects in random islands, and within a year, the Mother Rune will have been corrupted to a point where all hope is lost, and it will spiral faster and faster into its own destruction until nothing is left. Obviously, we must, somehow, kill Belial before that time and restore power to the Mother Rune." He concluded.

"Which brings us to today's meeting. If the Great Nations do not work together, then I fear there is no hope for the Earth. I know your nations have their differences - Daagohr and Arameth especially - but nothing will be solved with petty bickering. It was those two nations' former leaders who got us into this mess in the first place." Crimson glared at Takuma. He had a point, but it wasn't exactly one he liked...

"..." Remaining silent, the Daagonian King closed his eyes, arms folded, and listened. He was curious as to what the other leaders would have to say before he himself spoke... Arameth's, especially.

Auriolus brushed the hair out of her face as Takuma spoke. She knew his words carried wisdom from centuries, or possibly even millennia of experience in tough dealings such as these. So she took him seriously, though she had no respect for him yet. All he had proven so far was that the Angels were incapable of dealing with their mistakes and now he needed help, and plenty of people would think it wasn't their problem... but unfortunately it was her problem, as she was the new Queen of Arameth.

Although she was the only woman at the table, she perhaps commanded the most respect. She hadn't been born into the rule of leader like Crimson, and she faced even more difficulty in earning her way to the position than Edominus because of her sex. She wouldn't let either of them giver her any shit.

She sat with her legs crossed, resting one of her hands on the table while the other hung loosely by her side. She tapped her fingers on the oak as she waited for someone to speak up after Takuma finished. But when no one did... she figured it was best for her to start the conversation. This awkward silence just would not do.

"Ahem," she coughed, folding her arms as she started. "I agree that Tobias must be stopped. He is a cancer on this earth and must be cleansed from it in order for us to move forward. However... I promised my people peace. I cannot and will not send soldiers to their deaths in a pointless battle against an enemy whose power is far greater than theirs. I don't see a point in using brute strength against him, so unless you have a plan... Arameth's participation in the coming war, if indeed that is what is in our future, may only be one of support."

Her words showed her intelligence and care for her people... but Arameth's technology was far greater than the other two nations'. If Takuma wanted their military's full strength then Takuma would have to have a plan. Otherwise he might be down in strength by a third... who knows?

Edominus sat in his chair listening to every word Takuma spoke. He leaned back resting his arms on the rest of his chair while he only look to the middle of the table. Things in the world had gotten to a point of breaking and from the sounds of it only if the three kingdoms working as one could stop this "fallen angel".

Yet the rifts and past frictions between the great Kingdoms of Arameth and Daagohr where great , possibly beyond repair. Those two Kingdoms had caused this and now after always staying neutral The Kingdom of Masayoshi was being threatened by the past actions of Arameth and Daagohr. It was slightly upsetting after all the work of Edominus's ancestors had done to keep the Kingdom out of war and build a place of peace for all races yet now because of the actions of Arameth and Daagohr , that was no longer going to happen.

"Queen Auriolus I am not a man to blame the actions of ones predecessor on the one who succeeds them yet it is within the successors duty to , put simply clean up the mess of there predecessor" Edominus now changed his gaze to Queen Auriolus. The kings eyes where a bright intense green color what seemed to stick out even more because of his olive skin color. "The action of your Kingdom contributed to this situation occurring right now , the honorable thing to do would be responsible and deal with what your kingdom has done" Edominus spoke with a firm tone yet one of smoothness.

King Edominus was a strong looking man with powerful features and soft olive skin with intense green eyes while he had a peacefulness to him , this was how he had always been. Strong yet soft , a perfect balance his kingdom thought. The Kingdom of Masayoshi was not nearly as large as either Arameth or Daagohr. It was not as technologically advanced as Arameth nor did it have the bruit powerful military as Daagohr. But for Masoyoshi lack it made up for in heart , It had its seven elementals who are known throughout all three kingdoms for there power , then there was the untied force of humans and subhumans that lived and worked in the Kingdom of Masayoshi. Each civilian of Masayoshi was battle trained and would give there lives to protect there kingdom.

The life in the Kingdom of Masayoshi was a peaceful and prosperous one for all its citizens . human and subhuman alike. This was something Edominus would protect with his life.

"Because of my brother Aheperael's actions, this planet's been nearly destroyed, and forced the Angels to react with the Mother Rune, which Belial then used to kill its creator and begin killing what remains of Earth. This is precisely why they held Rune back from us for so long... isn't that right, Celestial?" Crimson asked, glancing over at Takuma, whose demeanor and eyes remained calm.

"But the blame isn't squarely on him or my nation. Arameth is as much responsible for the mess we're in as Daagohr is. You aren't being given much of a choice in the matter, Auriolus. As sucky a situation as it is, you have to take responsibility for Venn's actions, and help us rebuild, and defend what little we all as biological lifeforms have left." He stated, arms remaining folded, and his eyes both cold and determined.

"...If I may, Belial is unique, even amongst us of The Organization. Aside from our former leader Anu, and the now deceased Ryu, he is the only one who can both use and master any Rune he comes into contact with, and wield up to four at once. The only way we could possibly stop him would be to mount an offensive. He is effectively a one-man army. We need to amass an army of our own, small or large, of powerful Mages to outnumber and outclass him. He's likely doing the same thing, as we speak, which puts us in a precarious position." Takuma warned.

"I called you here first and foremost to form an alliance. After that's done, then we can begin planning. All four of our nations have powerful Mages within them. Only by the four of us working together will we achieve anything." He explained. "And this whole ordeal is partly our fault, as well, and as such, The Organization will also be participating in this war... however few of us remain."

Lex's icy gray eyes flashed to Edominus's own emerald green eyes, showing no fear and revealing no emotions. "Don't think in such simple terms. I hold no grudge against you or your country. I simply do not think it is necessary to waste the lives of my citizens in a fruitless effort against an enemy of such a high caliber."

"Although," she continued, "I would definitely contribute to the effort though. I would be willing to share some of our military technology and provide medical support, as well as supplies and such... but that may be where I draw the line. Besides, our military strength doesn't lie in our armed forces..."

Edominus closed his eyes after the Queen was done speaking. "All you offer is nothing compared to life it self , why should I send my own people in life threatening situation to clean up a mess half created by the Kingdom of Arameth when they themselves will not risk there own lives? I shouldn't. It would not be fair to my people who would not like it one bit"

"You should not give only 75% effort in this but rather 100% effort" Edominus said with a rather strong and yet passive tone "You offer great support but also help with actual fighting forces for if you do not I will have no choice but to consider withdrawing all thought of giving aid to this effort..leaving only The Kingdoms of Arameth and Daagohr to handle this mess" Edominus said.

"That's ridiculous!" Lex retorted quickly, losing her composure for just a moment. Still, all it took was one moment to show her inexperience. However, she gathered herself and continued in no time. "You would rather have no help at all? Without our medical technology the casualty rate would skyrocket, and without our technology you would quickly be overrun..."

After a short pause, "I would consider contributing our elite forces, mainly our air force, which is quite extensive... And the last time I checked neither of your countries had such a strength in the skies. Our mages would also fight, and our top strategists would give help, as well as our intelligence corps. Everything short of sending thousands of normal men to die. And of course anyone from Arameth would be able to fight, but I would never order them to do such a thing. Is that acceptable?" She said with a wicked smile. It was clear that she would not let her opinions be changed so easily...

The way she spoke gave nothing away about her feelings... Her dictation was perfect, reflecting the importance that educated had had in her life. Her vocabulary was simple and to the point, in a harsh way. But it was her tone that stood out the most. It had a tinge of arrogance that gave it a threatening characteristic. Overall it made her seem like she thought she was better than everyone else... A superiority complex, though that would be surprising given her upbringing...

"Elite forces , Air forces and Mages now those are some actual fighting forces hahaha" Edominus said with a hearty laugh at the end hopefully bring some lightened mood vibes into this meeting. Edominus had been at this political game for some time now and he was good at getting what he wanted without the person giving it even noticing. See all Edominus wanted was for Lex to give some actual fighting forces or at the least say she was , what she did in her last statement.

"So Takuma what kind of forces does Belial have under his wings? A army? A elite force?" Edominus asked.
