what anime started your obsession? Mine was dragonball Z on cartoon network when they first started toonami. then i started watching cowbow bebop and inyasha on adultswim then naruto came out on cartoon network :D

I first started off watching Card Captors Sakura, Pokemon and Beyblades along time ago, then DBZ/Yu-gi-oh. I had no idea what Anime was at the time.

but when pokemon started the newer stuff with the newer pokemon we stopped and i didnt really watch anime for awhile.

It was Neon Genesis Evangelion!
Before that, I didn't like anime at all. Then they started doing it on the MTV here in Italy, and it became a habit, I came home from school, and watched Evangelion.
And Evagelion was like the only anime I liked for years. Then one day I saw Naruto, and I said to myself "well this doesn't look bad at all"! It was the scene where Sakura races Ino to get to the Academy first. Lol it was probably because of those two hotties that I started watching it regularly xD

Pokemon was a show i always watched since i was a little kid. I watched the very first episode the day it came out. I never knew what anime was truthfully until like July of last year when i was 14. Or somewhere around there maybe a bit earlier. Then i watched Naruto because my mom's boyfriend has a son that is obsessed to. So now i watch all different kinds.

Embarrassingly enough, Tokyo mew mew. Then Naruto. Then Fruits basket. Then Chobits, DNAngel, Pita ten.. it spiralled off from there. Then I found manga, and I ended up moving from anime to manga. I rarely watch anime now... I can read about five series for every episode of anime.. so I prefer to read than watch!

Come to think of it, it probably started with card captor sakura. then pokemon, digimon, monster rancher.. then it faded untill tokyo mew mew. Brief sailor moon period too, I vaguely recall.
