Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN (http://www.animecubed.com/billy/?Uzuki) is a web based mmorpg with around 2,500 players by the last count I heard. It parodies a lot of anime, with the primary focus seemingly on Naruto, but there are also elements of Bleach and Death note, with plans to add Initial D references and One Piece references.
I won't lie, it takes a little bit of getting used to. A lot of people seem to be really put off by the tutorial day. However, most people who give it a week end up really addicted, so if you're looking for a web game, give this one a try for a few days. It only takes about 20-30 minutes a day to go through your daily stamina.
The game itself is similar to old table-top dice rolling RPG games. You are faced with a challenge of some sort, and you have to roll a number of ten sided dice. Each die that rolls higher than the difficulty is considered a success, and certain challenges require a number of successes. So, for example, if you're on a mission to protect a bridge builder, you may have to get 2 successes against 8 difficulty, meaning you need to roll at least 2 dice higher than 8 to beat that mission.
At the start of the game, there are three bloodlines available to you. You can be a WhiteEye (like the Hyuga clan), a RedEye (like the Uchiha clan), or the Legacy of the Hero (similar, in a way, to Naruto). During the game, you can also gain the Blood of the Reaper bloodline, if you do the Soul Reaper missions, and you can also make "the Trade" if you do the Death Note missions.
Don't be deceived by your first few days. This is a really huge game, with tons and tons of things to do. I've been playing for two months now, and I don't think I've managed to accomplish half of what you can do in the game.
If you're looking for information about the game, feel free to utilize the BvS Wiki (http://bvswiki.com/) as it's become one of the best places for information on the game available. (And, as a disclaimer, I'm the person who setup and maintains the Wiki). You can also view some of the original artwork from the game on the Wiki site if you want a sneak peek before committing.
So, the game link is here: Billy Vs. SNAKEMAN (http://www.animecubed.com/billy/?Uzuki). If you sign up, say that Uzuki referred you, and you'll get an additional 100 stamina for your first day! If you decide to stick it out, feel free to join my Village (name: The Wiki) as well. Just send in an application and I'll let you in so long as there is space.
I'd be willing to answer any questions you may have. Sorry to trouble you, and thanks for your time.
