Pokemon Waiting Area

[Kuro Nagashi]

This thread is for characters that are going through the approval process.

You can RP with your characters while they are being approved. This gives you something to do, allows RPers new to TN's RPGs to get an understanding of the works here, and can help you get a feel for your new character. So it can be very helpful when deciding how to make what edits you need to do.

There is a large open field, surrounded by forest. In the west lies a mountain, with rocky terrain around it. A river runs from the mountain to the lake in the south east. In the north eastern corner, there's a Burger Diner, where you can eat and chill. A Pokecenter to rest and heal your pokemon. Then there is a Pokemart where you can buy items, and other stuff for your Pokemon.

Here's a Paint-made map to help you get the idea. Will be upgraded to something nicer-looking later.

There are several giant attack resistant sand bags for you to knock around out in the field. A nice red bullseye target is drawn on them for aim practice. You'll also find targets on some groups of trees for more projectile fun.

Fight each other, hang out, or do whatever.

Silas smiled, looking down on the serene river bolow him..... it looked like a nice place for a picknick......silas would have stood there longer, but the large blue pokemon next to him let out an impatiant noise...... "Sorry bout that....spacing out." silas said, laughing and nodding to the Large prinplup next to him.....the prinplup did something that looked suspiciously like rolling its eyes. bity by bit, the two made their way down the sheer rockface....rock climbing was a hobby that silas enjoyed.....within minuts they reached the bottom......the Prinplup ruffled his feathers....and with a single movement, launched into the river, slashing silas in cold water...... "Haha....is that payback for making you go down that cliff?" silas asked happily.....

Wasser was swimming in the river next Pauly, he laughed as Pauly swung his tail down into the water, causing him to get splashed in icy water. Pauly!!! Cold. A what seemed to be laughing noise came from the eager Seel, then something splashed into the water causing the two to turn and look. Hey what's that? Pauly and Wasser swam over to where the splash had occurred as Wasser climbed out of the water it dripped off of him, he turned to see Silas, and he smiled.

Hey there. He held his hand up in a little wave fashion as Pauly swam along the shore in front of him. I'm Wasser, and who might you be?? He looked right to Silas a smile on his face.

"Hey, watsup? My name is silas" Silas said with a grin.......the prinplup then resurfased next to where silas was. it looked suspiciously at wasser....it went closer to silas protectively.... "Its okay" silas said, patting the pokemon on the head...."Sorry about him....he is suspicious of a lot of people." Silas said with a shrug... "So, what brings you here?"

Wasser laughed at the Prinplup. No worries, water Pokemon don't get to me. He took a step closer to the edge of the water, reaching down to run his fingers along Pauly's head and then he looked back up to Silas. Silas, cool name. Wasser just stood there talking, he didn't really walk around to much. I'm here just to chill and work with my Pokemon, they don't get out enough to just swim, or battle for fun as well. He smirked, maybe Silas would ask for a battle.

silas smiled....he had the feeling he had just found a battle..... "Battle you say?" he said, and then, he stood up, a slightly silly grin on his face.....and... "I challenge you to a pokemon battle....." he said, formalising what both trainers were in the mood for anyway...... "You can decide the format for it if you want..." Silas said to wasser....he was already testing, seeing what sort of a match would be chosen.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Wasser smirked he was about to have some major fun. I accept. He had just sealed the deal and the battle would begin very soon. How does three on three sound? His first Pokemon was already out. He leaned down and ran his fingers over Pauly's head one more time then stood up once more. You ready Pauly?

Pauly let out a high pitched sound, he seemed excited to get to do something beside just swimming around all day.

Silas smiled...."All right......sit out for now, ok?" he said to prinplup. Then.... "Come on out....Munchlax." Silas said......and a little green blue pokemon came out. It didnt look very threatening.....nonetheless, silas seemed confident. "All right then....i guess ill start us off......" Silas said.......... "Munchlax....jump......" silas said.......munchlax looked at him with a pained look on its face.... "Food later...jumping now." silas said.....with that, the munchlax jumped high up in the air, over the river.ight above the seel.

Wasser looked up at the Munchlax, he ushered commands to Pauly. Pauly, look up and use Icy Wind. Pauly raised his head up and inhaled what seemed like a never ending breath. Then, as he held the breath for a brief second, he expelled it with force.

The chilling winds rushed up towards Munchlax, if they hit, they wouldn't only cause some damage, but they would also lower Munchlax's speed. Wasser waited to see what Silas would do now.

Silas grinned..... "Thats what i was counting on.....munchlax...protect into tackle." He said.......and a shining barier formed around munchlax, dispelling the ice beam.......and then, munchlax was practicaly on top of the seel, using his fall to streangthen the tackle attack.

(OOC: i hope this is okay....i know that you cant do lots of attacks in one turn, but i think this combo makes sense......)
