Shizuka[Nyanki] vs Senji[Kuro Nagashi]

[Kuro Nagashi]

In this thread, the final match of the C-B division of the Battle of the Fireflies tournament event will take place. It will be held between the two best in their group, and have faced the odds to make it this far. The battle is between Ishida Shizuka and Hatoyama Senji. Seeing as this is a final match the two will battle in a different ring.

This ring upon being guided by a firefly, has a solid floor, that shines in the light. It is a solid white, and perfectly smooth. On the field there is no obstacles to be in the way or to serve as cover. Overhead the sky is solid white, and it looks as if a swirling mass of fireflies is overhead observing the battle. This is the final match ring.

Please remember that all rules of the Bleach RPG still apply, and that these fights will not drag on forever. Thank you, and have lots of fun. Also if your character is in Hikari no Tendou and is not in a fight they can come and observe.

Also, these fights are lasting to long, so please do not auto-dodge, if you don't know what this, it is in the rules. If you do, a mod will tell you once, and if you do it again your character will lose the battle.

Shizuka appeared in the ring in a sort of teleport. She looked around at her surroundings. She hadn't expected anything like a warp from these fireflies. As she took in the scenery, she realized this must be a big battle to the fireflies. Her Quincy cross dangled down from her wrist as Shizuka awaited her opponent to appear. Could she make it through this match? Only time would tell.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Senji appeared from the warp his hair blew freely in the wind as he looked around, and then he noticed the fireflies swirling above. It was obviously an important match for these guys. Then he turned and looked to his opponent, he noticed she was female, but oh well he knew a couple good women Onmitsukido, so this didn't surprise him. Then he noticed she had a quincy cross and he spoke. So, you are a Quincy? Have you ever heard of an Onmitsukido? He held his hands at his sides, looking quite calm.

[Nyanki]

"Of course", Shizuka said as her bow materialized. "Through the conflicts between my ancestors and your fellow shinigami, we have a decent set of knowledge of shinigami." She looked right at Senji. "Shall we begin?"

[Kuro Nagashi]

Senji smiled, pulling his hands up in a flat palmed stance smiling at the girl. Of course, you may start this battle. His eyes seemed to be liquid steel, while the rest of his body was loose and his composure was free and seemed to be uncaring. So, what do you know about the detention unit, if I may ask. He turned his left foot to the side a bit, preparing for whatever Shizuka had to throw at him.

"What I know is what I know. Why do you ask, if I may ask?" Shizuka brought her hand to the glowing string of her bow. A horizontal row of five arrows shot out at Senji. Then center arrow was focused dead center on the shinigami as they whizzed at him through the air.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Senji smiled, this girl seemed to know how to play. He pushed off with his left foot, running towards the arrows and as he got close he hit all fours the arrows passing over him, doing no harm at all. He then used his hands flipping forward so he was right in front of Shizuka, he thrust out with his right palm for the base of Shizuka's neck. While he used his left hand to chop down at her bow arm, aiming to keep her from firing at him. Oh I was just wondering if you knew what the Detention Unit's specialties consisted of, but from your dodgy answers it seems you don't. He kept his eyes locked on Shizuka's, ready for whatever attack she had. This would be a tricky fight for sure.

A choking sound squished its way out of Shizuka's throat as the palm slammed into her neck, knocking her back. Her arm was hit as well, probably making for a decent bruise. Moving like it was second nature, Shizuka's free hand went into her pocket and pulled out a Gintou. "From the hand of Odin, unto the enemy," she coughed out as she threw the tube at Senji. "Silbern Blitz." It turned into a bolt of silver lightning, zagging through the air at the shinigami.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Senji knew a little about Gintou it was about the same as Kidou, but he didn't want to see how similar. He twisted his body to the side, the attack barely missing him burning his outfit. A small amount of blood could be seen where the attack had hit as well. That's a pretty quick attack you got there. He didn't use shunpo this time, he crossed the distance to Shizuka in a step, seeing as they weren't far apart now anyway.

As he came in he brought his left foot out, aiming to hook it around Shizuka's legs and pull her to the ground. From there he could fall onto her and launch another attack at her. If you didn't know, the detention unit, one requirement to be part of it, you must be able to take anyone down with your bare hands.

Shizuka let herself be taken by the kick as she reached for another tool she had in her arsenal. It wasn't one she was too good at, but in a fight against someone like this, it might be what she needed. She held it behind her back, waiting for Senji to try to take advantage of her lying on the ground.
