Shishigake -- Lion's Cliff [Outside of Iwagakure]

Among the many cliffs and valleys that dot Iwagakure's rocky landscape. Shishigake is one of the most well known, and due to false superstition one of the least visited ones. Stories of beasts hiding in the dark crevices of the jagged cliff face or bandit ninja hideouts hiden among the rocks ussually keep the general public away. Ussually only ninja venture into the cliff. A river cuts through the valley, giving it it's shape and weathering the earth down even more. Lotus flowers grow in the calm flowing waters. The jagged cliffs on either side of the river resemble the sharp fangs of some kind of animal. That's how it ended up with the name Shishigake.

Kouganei sighed. He hated working at the Tairo clan restaurant. It had long since stopped snowing and the sun was bright in the sky. It shined down, relentlessly, on Kouganei's back. It was just one of those bitter, really hot and humid days that Kouganei hated so much. It was almost as hot as it got in Suna. He was making his way to one of the many valleys of Iwagakure. This one was different though. Lotus flowers grew around the bank of a river that winded though carving and shaping the cliffs that surrounded it. The valley was generally known as Shishigake -- Lion Cliff, because from an arial view the jagged edges resembled the gaping mouth of a lion. Kouganei, Kahen, Marix, and Asato knew it as Chirirenge cliff (The first three more then the anti-social and moody Asato ). They named it after the lotus petals falling into the river and coloring the normally, clear water with a variety of hues and colors. (Chirirenge means fallen lotus petal). Later when the friends were put in a squad together, they named there squad Chirirenge after the valley.

Anyone can post here. Train, hangout, sunbath, throw rocks at birds, whatever, just follow the rules and have fun

Kaoru stood shirtless atop the water of the river running through the valley, the intense sun glaring down on him. His hair was wet and his body was covered in small droplets of water. He quickly but sharply carried out a set of hand seals. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu", multiple water clones, copies of himself, formed around him from the river's water. They each only possessed one tenth of Kaoru's full power, although, with his large chakra pool he created twenty clones. Combined, they matched double Kaoru's power.

He slowly slid his left leg backwards as he looked at the water clones around him, preparing a taijutsu stance. Suddenly, a sort of shuriken shaped silhouette formed in Kaoru's intense, light blue eyes. This was his Tsuigan doujutsu, very unique to Kaoru, being the only living person that possessed it. In unison, each of the water clones charged in swiftly across the surface of the water. Kaoru spun as he dodged the first attack, kicking upwards at the chin of the water clone with great speed as it burst into water.

Meanwhile, Moko ran along the river bank, chasing a large bug that was flying along. He jumped into the air, flapping his small wings as he began to fly, grabbing hold of the large bug as he quickly devoured it and licked his lips, a victorious expression on the animal's face.

Kaoru was here for training. Coming from Kirigakure, it might seem pointless that he be all the way over in the Land of Earth training, but Kaoru heard of the dangers of this valley and thought it might be a good place to train. Plus, he thought he might practice using his suiton techniques a little more in a hotter temperature environment, to see the difference in power in comparison to his usual terrain of Kirigakure.

Yousei was lying on a bed of grass opposite a large rock that concealed him from Kaoru's vision. He figured the noise was just the splashing of water against the rocks. He didn't really feel like getting up and double-checking either. He hid in the shade of a massive rock. Everything looked hazy because of the heat waves. He sighed in relief when a tuft of clouds blocked out the suns relentless glare. When he saw a lemur, a flying one none-the-less, dart past his field of vision he quickly became interested. Yousei stepped out from behind the rock watching as Moko devoured the bug. He opened up his eyes slowly revealing the strange back-to-back crescent design. A blue mist seemed to encircle him as he moved, following him and trailing from his sleeves. When it floated towards the ground and brushed up against some grass or a clover, the plants would shrivel up and turn a brown color as if it were dying. The splashing was louder now and he heard the slamming of a fist into a body. He turned his head to the side and looked towards Kaoru and his training. Since he didn't know Kaoru's name Yousei figured he would address him by village instead. "Ahh...Hey Kiri!" Yousei said with a smile. His teeth curved out like snake fangs. He had a creepy ear-to-ear grin. Almost as creepy as the Tsuchikage's Although it seemed like a friendly guesture it certainly didn't look that way. It acctually appeared rather menacing.

Kaoru stopped his training and glanced over to the man calling out to him, his eyes wide at the sudden appearance. His remaining water clones burst into water. He was a little freaked out by the guy's smile, but he didn't show it. "Oh, hey!" he replied, forcing a large grin as he rubbed the back of his head.

Moko immediately turned its head with wide eyes, its ears poking up, as it heard the man. It was a pretty funny sight to see. Moko quickly ran over to the river bank, jumping into the air and flying over to Kaoru as it landed on his shoulder, running up his neck from behind, hiding on his head with a cautiousness of the stranger.

Kaoru spoke again to break the silence. "What brings you out here?" he asked curiously, trying to sound casual in the awkward situation as this man just turned up out of nowhere, with Kaoru standing shirtless in the river.

"Taking a vacation..." Yousei said simply with a smile. He leaned against the rock and let out a deep yawn. He stretched warming up his muscles after laying still for so long. His joints cracked audibly. He glanced at the lemur that quickly flitted to Kaoru's shoulder. "Interesting companion.." Yousei commented with another kind gaze towards Moko. "And what about you?" Yousei questioned in a friendly tone. It almost seemed rehersed. But, then again, that was to be expected. This was ussually how conversations between strangers started off.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Kahen sat next to the steadily flowing river. As he sat with his eyes closed he slowly opened them to watch the falling lotus petals. Looking around Kahen was sitting in a meadow of colorful flowers. You couldn't name a color and it not be there. Kahen's blade was strapped to his back the handle had what looked like jade green vines twined around it.

As Kahen sat looking up at the sky he let out a sigh wishing that Kouganei would hurry up and get here already.

Kouganei lazily plopped down on Kahen's side. "You always pick the most exotic places, Kahen." Kouganei ran his hand through his golden hair and sighed. He unstrapped the two large scrolls across his back and tossed them to the side. He sighed again and stood up. He didn't feel like training. He rubbed his left eye with the back of his palm. "Lets get started then.." Kouganei said somewhat reluctanly. He somehow managed a smile as he stretched one last time. This is why he needed training. He was always tired. Or atleast not up for doing much else then sleeping. He took a few steps back and turned to his teamate, giving a nod to signify he was ready to start.

[Kuro Nagashi]

Kahen chuckled, moving his electric blue eyes to his teammate despite the look of fierceness in his eyes they were surprisingly gentle. He ran his hand through his short brown hair and then he spoke. Well I prefer to be in an enjoyable place to train. With that he did a back flip landing on his feet stylishly and then he drew his sword from its sheath on his back. It made a gentle sound as it slid from the sheath and then he held it at an angle in front of him with one hand. Your move.

Kouganei smirked. He was momentarily concealed by a burst of white smoke. When it cleared he was holding 8 cylinder like structures in the ridges of his fingers, as if they were shuriken. They were tall. As tall as a kunai. Explosive tags were wrapped heavily around all visible surfaces. A small flame licked the top corner of each of the 8 'dynamite' cylinders. He used the smoke in order to set this up. He tossed the bombs towards Kahen jumping backwards as he did so. The resulting explosion wasn't small. It burst out in pillars of black smoke near Kahen. Kouganei skidded against the ground when he landed, drawing two kunai, holding one in each hand, ready for his teamate's next move.

[Kuro Nagashi]

The translucent blade shined in the light as Kahen could be seen flipping from the very top of the smoke. Multicolored flowers swirled around him as he flipped through the air. His shirt made a swishing sound as he moved through the air. It was obvious at the last second he had managed to use his Kamon Kabe technique to block the majority of the explosion. As he hit the ground he swung his katana. The multicolored flowers seemed to harden and began to spin at a high speed.

Pointing his hand at Kouganei the stream of shuriken flowers rushed for Kouganei in a swirling pattern. Then Kahen threw his katana above him it spun in perfect circles through the air as Kahen formed seals. As he finished the seals he brought his hand up catching the katana by the white handle. From afar it would seem like the handle was made from pure marble with real vines wrapping around it. As he caught the katana he thrust the blade into the air causing a cloud of flower petals to rise up clouding Kouganei's view. Despite the extravagant movements it all was performed in a few seconds.
