If his elemental attacks can not go far and Deidara has enough explosives it is...

Deidara will have to bomb the hell out of Kakuzu...His doton armor was able to repel a fully transformed Jinchuuriki (Nibi)...The only reason Raikiri penetrated it was the retarded Raiton>Doton logic...Another thing to consider is that Kakuzu's Raiton could defuse any of Deidara's doton bombs and Kakuzu's insane speed could keep Deidara from ever getting off the ground.

Yeah but he would need to attack right away. But if he doesn't Deidara can just keep nit picking on Kakuzu all day until his body does give.

Fly high in the sky, eh? Then how the hell did Naruto, of all people, manage to hit him? And his doton armor can survive any types of bombs excluding MAYBE C3. But then again, Kakuzu's Gian: False Darkness would defuse bombs, and I'm sure he can defuse Number 18. Dont' forget Long Range mode which he was confident in using. I just don't see Deidara at Kakuzu's level yet.

Well he wasn't that high when Naruto did get to him. Naruto also has his shadow clones to aid him remember? Who knows how he got up there. How do you think Kakuzu would win?
