This is very hard... Kisame is good, but shikamaru is good 2... Anyway I rlly dont know i think Shikamaru cus hes the smartes guy in Konoha i think and he uses Kage Mane... Good Comination.. Kiasame is good... But now listen to this Kisame knows how to turn the floor to be in water... Shikamaru culdnt do kage mane... So Kisame will fin defenetly.... I am Skikamrus fan but Kisame hes an very good Advantage....

1) Kisame has the chakra absorbing sword (shadup, I can't spell the name)
2) Kage Mane would be useless on water...I think.
3) Kisame may not look it, but he's very smart. Maybe not as smart as Shikamaru, but still...
4) Kisame's water Jutsu and massive chakra would overpower shikamaru easily.

I think Kisame would win.

I co-sign with this statement. Also with the sharks he can summon and being able to bring water out of no where and AT 30 freakin percent and making Gai open 6 of the 8 celestrial gates to beat him (AT 30 FREAKIN PERCENT MIND YOU!!)

Imagine Kisame at a 100 percent. Remember when Kisame wanted to get down and dirty but Itachi said no because he is too noisy? Dude I think Kisame is a bad mofo.

This could go either way and I hope we get to see this fight.
I'll explain why.
Shikamaru doesn't use much chakra for one.
For two Kisame isn't that smart.
He nearly charged into a battle recklessly against Gai and Kakashi.
All it takes is one small mistake for the battle to turn around and i doubt that Kisame is perfect.
Idk who to say will win this one i don't want either to lose their both my favorite characters :\

Prove to me Kisame isn't smart...

He didn't even see Gai the first time he went to attack, Itachi didn't either. I am fully confident that Kisame and Itachi could have taken the Asuma and Kurenai out. AND also bare in mind that it took a 6 gate Gai to take the FAKE Kisame out so imagine what it will take to get the REAL Kisame.
